John 11:26 Whoever lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?

2 Samuel 7:28 O Lord GOD, You are God, and Your words are true.

Matthew 9:22 And Jesus…said, ‘Be of good courage, … thy faith hath saved thee,’

Isaiah 60:2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you.

Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil; for Thou art with me…

May you always confirm the majesty and glory of God and confess Him as the abundant Source and gracious Giver of all good gifts when you minister to those around you in obedience to His Word and in the power of His Spirit through the authority of His Name. Daniel 2

May you always remember that God is not a respecter of persons. His will is done the way He sees fit through those He chooses, not because of “worth” or “devotion” but for His own glory and the accomplishment of His purpose. Daniel 2

May you understand that you do not need to defend yourself before men in the matters of God, but only obey the Lord, for God is able to defend, protect and save you from the hand of men and the will of devils. Even if He does not, God’s truth, which you follow and bear witness and testimony to, will still endure and stand strong, as Jesus showed when crucified. Daniel 3, 1 Peter 4

May you be assured that the face of man’s fury and heat of man’s anger can affect the circumstances you endure, but God is the Creator of all things and declares the boundaries that will not be crossed when a tongue or hand is raised against His own. For though the fire may burn the bonds that tied you, it will not touch the righteousness of Christ that clothes you, and that which was meant to destroy you will result in greater blessing for you. Daniel 3

May you be clear-minded and self-controlled, earnest and disciplined, calm and thoughtful, alert and aware, that you may wake up to the meaning and method of prayer, since the end of all things is near. 1 Peter 4

May you, above all, love each other sincerely, fervently, and deeply, even as the Lord loves you, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4

May you offer hospitality to one another without grumbling, and use whatever gift you have received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms, whether speaking, speak as though with the very words of God, or serving, serve with the strength and joy God provides, that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ, to Whom be glory and power for ever. 1 Peter 4

May you not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you, but rejoice that you participate in the undeserved sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when His glory is revealed. 1 Peter 4, Daniel 3

May you know that if you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed by the Spirit of glory and of God that rests on you, allowing you to return blessing for cursing, even as you have been instructed. 1 Peter 4, Luke 6

May you be aware that if you suffer, not as a criminal, or even a meddler, but as a Christian, you do not need to be ashamed, but praise God that you bear His name. 1 Peter 4

May you realize that it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God. Those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good, understanding that if it begins with those who have been accepted into the family of God, what will become of those who do not obey the gospel of God? Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, go forth and seek to persuade all men to turn to the Father. 1 Peter 4, 2 Corinthians 5

May you who are elders serve as overseers of God’s flock because the love of God impels you to willingly give yourself to their care, not because you must, nor because of money. Eagerly serve, not to exercise authority but to be examples, being the first to demonstrate what God’s love looks like. When the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the overcomer’s wreath of celebration that will never fade away, unlike a flowered wreath bestowed by man on conquerors. 1 Peter 5

May you clothe yourself with humility toward one another, humbling yourself under God’s mighty hand that He may lift you up in due time, knowing you can cast your cares on Him because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5

May you be self-controlled and alert, for your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. 1 Peter 5

May you be aware that after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, to Whom be the power for ever and ever, Who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. 1 Peter 5

My child, I am ready to give you ears to hear the truth of the Word as the Spirit hovers, ready to lead you in the way, step by step.
This is how your testimony of Me develops, My dear one. As you are a witness to My faithfulness, My abundance, My trustworthiness then, by speaking what you know and sharing My Word, faith rises up in those who have their spiritual ears. For as I open ears to hear, I am giving faith to receive from Me all that you and those who hear you have need of, My precious one.
Seek Me that the muffling veil of the flesh will be removed from your heart, My little one, and your mind will be aligned, tuned, clear of the static of the world to receive My spirit of revelation. This will open the lines of communication between us, so that you can walk in fellowship with Me as I have longed for you to do.

May you put your hope in His word when your soul languishes and grows faints with longing for His salvation and your eyes fail for watching for the fulfillment of His promise, asking when He will comfort you. Psalm 119

May you never forget His decrees or statutes, even though you feel like a toughened and hardened wineskin, hanging forgotten in the back of the smokehouse, asking the Lord how many days you must endure before He punishes the arrogant and godless who persecute you by digging pitfalls, yet you remain trusting in His grace and waiting in faith for the return of His favor. Psalm 119

May you seek the help you need from the Lord when the godless pursue and persecute you without cause, for all His commandments are trustworthy, faithful and sure. Psalm 119

May you not forsake His precepts, even when you are almost consumed and wiped from the earth. Psalm 119

May you obey the testimony of His mouth, hearing, receiving, loving and keeping it, for then the Lord will preserve your life according to His steadfast love. Psalm 119

May you confess that the Word of the Lord is eternal, for it stands firm in the heavens, and His faithfulness continues through all generations, since He established the earth so that it endures and the entire universe serves Him, which is why it continues to this day, obeying His laws. Psalm 119

May you realize and confess that if His law had not been His delight, you would have perished in your affliction. Psalm 119

May you never forget His precepts, as though you could, for it is by them He has quickened you, granting and preserving your life. Psalm 119

May you submit yourself to Him, for you are His; you have sought out and inquired of His precepts, requiring them as your urgent need, therefore He will save you as His own. Psalm 119

May you thoughtfully ponder and consider His testimonies and statutes, meditating on them, even though the wicked wait for you in order to destroy you. Psalm 119

May you contemplate how everything human has its limits and end, no matter how extensive, noble and excellent it is, but God’s commandment is exceedingly broad and extends without limits into eternity. Psalm 119, Romans 3

Colossians 3:17 Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

2 Peter 1:3-4 His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness

Psalm 9:1-2 I will praise You, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. I will be filled with joy because of You. I will sing praises to Your name, O Most High.

Hebrews 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

Psalm 5:8 Lead me, O Lord, in Thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make Thy way straight before my face.

1 Peter 2:12 Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day He visits us.

May you be resolved not to defile yourself with the available fare of the culture surrounding you, but remain faithful to what you have been taught from the Word of God. Daniel 1

May you trust God to provide you with the spiritual gifts needed for the responsibilities He assigns you in the position He places you, for He will not do half the job and fail at the rest, but will complete what He has begun in your life, to do you good and make you a blessing. Daniel 1

May you join with others to seek God at times of need, understanding it will affect so many others as well, asking God for His mercy, in full assurance of His provision, as you honor Him by your request, turning from all other sources, depending on and deepening your relationship with the Lord, which is the true purpose of all that drives you to, and draws you near, the Presence of God. Daniel 2

May you give praise to the Name of God for ever and ever, for wisdom and power are His, Who changes times and seasons, setting up authorities and bringing them down, revealing deep and hidden things, for light dwells with Him. Daniel 2

May you live in harmony with one another, being sympathetic, loving each other as brothers in Christ, compassionate and humble. 1 Peter 3

May you repay evil and insult with blessing, not more evil, for you were called to this so that you may inherit His promise. 1 Peter 3

May you know that whoever would love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful speech, turning from evil and doing good, seeking peace and pursuing it, for the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. 1 Peter 3

May you understand that no one is going to harm you if you are eager to do good, and even if you should suffer for what is right, you are still blessed. 1 Peter 3

May you not fear what those without Christ fear, and do not be frightened like those who live without heaven’s hope. 1 Peter 3

May you set apart Christ as Lord in your heart, always prepared to give an answer to everyone for the hope you have, with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. 1 Peter 3

May you accept that it is better, if it be God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil, for Christ died for sins once for all, to bring you to God, being put to death in the body, but made alive by the Spirit. 1 Peter 3

May you continue in the pledge of baptism, that of a good conscience toward God, for in it you are saved by the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Who has gone into heaven and is at God’s right hand – with angels, authorities and powers in submission to Him. 1 Peter 3

May you arm yourself with the same attitude as Christ, Who suffered in His body, that you may be done with sin and, as a result, not live the rest of your earthly life chasing the desires of your own human passions but, rather, for the will of God. 1 Peter 4

May you realize that those who do not know the pleasures of a Godly life which is lived in obedient and humble service to the Lord will think it strange that you do not plunge with them in the same flood of dissipation, debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry. They will heap abuse on you, but understand that they will have to give account to Him Who is ready to judge the living and the dead. Be ready, therefore, to preach the gospel to them so that though they might be judged according to men in regard to the body, they may yet live according to God in regard to the spirit. 1 Peter 4

I desire to give you My eyes to see with, My child, so that you will perceive the beauty of My creation, made in My image and testifying to My nature.
I want you to be able to discern between the coating, covering, encrusting blemishes and consequences of sin that distort the appearance of much which surrounds you, My little one, and the true substance of My creation that comes from Me and speaks of Me.
That is how you will be able to treasure those who are Mine, though they offer little beauty for your eyes to see. When you see through My eyes, you understand the treasure of a heart that is intent on serving Me. My eyes will show you the value of a mind whose thoughts are dedicated to sharing the riches of My love.
My spiritual vision will reveal to you the honor I have prepared for those scarred in My service, dirty from work in My fields, wounded and limping from the warfare against My enemy, broken and poured out on My altar with but one thought before them, and that, My precious one, is to make sure My Name is glorified.
Ask Me to show this to you, My dear one, that you may better serve My Body in humility, showing honor to those I choose to honor, encouraging those who need refreshing, strengthening those who are giving all, that your joy, in Me, may be full.

May you believe, trust, rely on and cling to the commandments of God as He teaches you good judgment, wise and right discernment and knowledge, for the Lord deals well with, and does good to, His servants, even as He has promised. Psalm 119

May you keep hearing, receiving, loving and obeying the word of the Lord, lest you go astray as you did before you were afflicted. Psalm 119

May you learn the decrees and statutes that the Lord is teaching you, for He is loving and kind and what He does is good. Psalm 119

May you keep His precepts with your whole heart, even though the arrogant and godless have smeared you with lies they have put together. Psalm 119

May you delight in the Law of God, though the hearts of the arrogant and godless are as fat as grease and their minds are dull and brutal. Psalm 119

May you acknowledge how good it has been for you to have been afflicted that you may learn His statutes and decrees. Psalm 119

May the law from the mouth of God be better and more precious to you than thousands of pieces of gold and silver. Psalm 119

May you gain understanding from the One Whose hands have made you, cunningly fashioning and establishing you, that you may learn God’s commandments. Psalm 119

May you hope in God’s word and tarry in His presence, so that those who reverently and worshipfully fear and respect the Lord will rejoice when they see you. Psalm 119

May you know that the Lord has afflicted you in faithfulness, for His judgments are right and righteous. Psalm 119

May you be comforted by God’s merciful kindness & steadfast, unfailing love, according to His promise to His servants. Psalm 119

May you delight in His law, that His compassion may come to you, and by His tender mercies and loving-kindness you may live. Psalm 119

May you meditate on God’s precepts while the Lord puts the proud and arrogant to shame for dealing perversely with you without a cause. Psalm 119

May you be available, along with all those who know His testimonies and understand His statutes, to support and encourage those who reverently and worshipfully fear the Lord when they turn to you. Psalm 119

May your heart be sound, sincere, wholehearted, and blameless toward the decrees and statutes of the Lord that you may not be put to shame. Psalm 119

May you always fear the Lord and be blessed, lest you harden your heart and fall into trouble. Proverbs 28:14

November 24

1 Samuel 12:24 Be sure to fear the LORD and serve Him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things He has done for you.

Romans 15:4 For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.

Hebrews 7:25 Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

Ephesians 5:3 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

Luke 12:37 Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes. Truly, I say to you, he will dress himself for service and have them recline at table, and he will come and serve them.

May you rest in the assurance that the Lord will provide from His abundance all the resources that you need to perform the assignments He sets before you, leaving you only the need to choose to obey and to will to continue, even to the end of your strength and understanding, for only when you come to the end of your resources, and start relying on His, will His might and power be seen, and His glory be revealed, to His honor and praise. Ezekiel 45

May you not disregard the day of small beginnings, or the benefit of initial steps, for just as the water that flowed from the temple merely made the paving stones damp in the courtyard, as you keep following the path of the Lord’s assignment and walking in His presence, moving in the power of the Spirit, obeying the word of God, you will find yourself going deeper into the life-giving truths of the Lord and bearing the fruit which feeds others and the leaves which bring healing, if you continue and do not falter or turn back. Ezekiel 47

May you readily accept others, whom you have not known, as having a part in the inheritance of God, receiving them and their children (for no one who goes warring can travel fast with children) wherever they settle & distributing their allotment the same as anyone else. Ezekiel 47

May you confidently understand and realize with certainty that the Lord knows your name and is fully acquainted with and aware of who you are and what you are like. He has prepared an inheritance for you that will beautifully fit your needs and is perfectly suited to your preferences since He has never taken His eyes off of you. He has studied you in the way a person enjoys a work of art over and over, never growing tired of hearing a lovely song performed, or gazing on a beautiful painting, always finding joy and satisfaction in the smallest details – even so God enjoys you. Ezekiel 48

May you abstain from the sinful desires which war against your soul, since you are aliens and strangers in the world and represent a different King, that you may live such good lives among the pagans that though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God, your King, on the day He visits us. 1 Peter 2

May you submit yourself, for the Lord’s sake, to every authority instituted among men, whether to the king, as the supreme authority, or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right, for it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men. 1 Peter 2

May you live as a free person, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil. Instead live as a servant of God, showing proper respect to everyone by loving the brotherhood of believers, fearing God, and honoring the king. 1 Peter 2

May you submit yourself, as an employee, to your manager and employer with all respect, whether they are considerate or harsh. Bearing up and enduring unjust suffering for doing good, because you are conscious of God, is commendable, but there is no credit for enduring discipline for doing wrong. Instead, follow the example of Christ Who suffered for you though He did no wrong and spoke no lies, entrusting Himself to the One Who judges justly. 1 Peter 2

May you know that you can die to sins and live to righteousness because Jesus Christ, Himself, bore your sins in His body on the cross, and by His wounds you have been healed; for though you were like a sheep wandering away, now you have returned to the Shepherd and Protector of your soul. 1 Peter 2

May you walk in wisdom toward all who watch so that the conversation of your life-style may show the incorruptible beauty of God’s holiness in your behavior, clothed with the imperishable loveliness of a gentle and tranquil attitude as you continue daily in humble submission to the Father’s Word. 1 Peter 3

My child, I have not called you to a war which is fought with weapons of mass destruction, pursuing a scorched earth policy. Rather, I have engaged you in hostage rescue as you battle an enemy which uses human shields and employs child warriors who cannot determine right from wrong.
You cannot win My victories through weapons of the flesh, of the mind, or of the world, My precious one. You will, at times, have to follow steps that appear to lose the battle in the eyes of the other combatants, suffering loss, bearing shame, enduring scorn, for the true enemy is only defeated by the spiritual power I give you.
The strongholds of lies built by the spiritual forces of evil in heavenly realms are pulled down by your example of humility of heart, meekness toward men, trust in Me, and the greatest of these, the same giving, yielding love toward your fellow man that I showed during My trial and on the cross, for there is no ordinance against these. Through this, men will see the loving nature of the Father Who accepts all who come in repentance.
The deceitfully conscripted ranks of the enemy’s army will see the light of the truth that shines through you as you choose to die to self; they will pull strength from My life, as it appears in you, to break free from the burdensome yoke of the fear of death which has held them prisoner.
So rejoice and give thanks, My dear one, for in your praise to the Father lies the victory for others.

May you receive the hope which is based on the word and promise God has given you. Psalm 119

May you gain comfort in your affliction and consolation in your suffering because of the word of God’s promise which revives you, preserving your life. Psalm 119

May you not turn aside from His law or decline in your desire to follow His ways, though the arrogant mock you without restraint and the proud have you greatly in derision. Psalm 119

May you take comfort in earnestly recalling the Lord’s ordinances from long ago. Psalm 119

May you be gripped by burning indignation, terror and sadness which seize upon you because of the wicked who forsake His law. Psalm 119

May your song bear the theme of God’s decrees & statutes in whatever house your pilgrimage takes you to. Psalm 119

May you earnestly remember the name of the Lord through the night and observe His law. Psalm 119

May you have, as the gift of His grace and as your reward, the practice of hearing, receiving, loving and obeying His precepts. Psalm 119

May you promise to keep the words of the Lord, Who is your source of security. Psalm 119

May you entreat His favor as you seek the face of the Lord with all your heart, for then He will be merciful and gracious to you according to His promise. Psalm 119

May you consider your ways, and turn your steps to obey His testimonies and statutes. Psalm 119

May you make haste and not delay to obey His commands. Psalm 119

May you not forget His law though the wicked bind, enclose and ensnare you with cords and ropes. Psalm 119

May you give thanks to the Lord for His righteous laws and ordinances on every occasion that causes you to rise at night. Psalm 119

May you be a friend and companion of all those who fear, revere, and worship the Lord, and of those who observe and give heed to the precepts of God. Psalm 119

May you learn to follow the decrees and statutes that the Lord teaches you, even as you learn to see that the earth is filled with His mercy and loving-kindness. Psalm 119

May you rejoice when the righteous triumph, for concealment is needed when the wicked rise to power. Proverbs 28:12

May you confess and renounce your sins, for then you will find mercy; if you conceal and disguise them, you will not prosper. Proverbs 28:13

November 23

Hebrews 2:1 It’s necessary for us to pay more attention to what we have heard, or else we may drift away from it.

Hebrews 6:19 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil …

1 Corinthians 2:9 …as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him—

2 Corinthians 12:9 Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.

John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

May you be confident in the understanding and realization that even in your worship of God and your ministry to the people, the Lord is supplying that which you need out of His endless abundance and boundless treasure. Ezekiel 45

May you find that as you spend time in the presence of God, occupied in worship of the King and active in prayer for yourself and others, even as you praise Him for His bounty and give thanks to Him in your circumstances, that you are changed when you are through, and you leave different from when you started, for time spent before the Lord is never wasted, and will accomplish that purpose which He intends. Ezekiel 46

May you prepare your minds for action, be self-controlled, and set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed, for as obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance, rather, just as He Who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do. 1 Peter 1

May you live your life as a pilgrim and a sojourner on earth in reverent fear since you call on a Father Who judges each man’s work impartially, for you know that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down through your forefathers by the precious blood of Christ, a Lamb without blemish or defect. 1 Peter 1

May your faith and hope be in God, just as your confidence is, for He raised Christ from the dead and glorified Him in these last times for your sake, though He had been chosen before the creation of the world. 1 Peter 1

May you purify yourself by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, that you may love one another deeply, from the heart, since you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God, which has been preached to you.1 Peter 1

May you rid yourself of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind, and crave pure spiritual milk, like newborn babies, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation now that you have tasted that the Lord is good. 1 Peter 2

May you come to Him, the living Stone – rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to Him—that you also, like a living stone, may be built with others into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2

May you believe and trust in Him Who is the chosen and precious cornerstone, that you will never be put to shame, for to those who do not believe, He Who has become the capstone will be a stone that causes men to stumble and a rock that makes them fall, because they disobey the message. 1 Peter 2

May you declare the praises of Him Who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light, for once you had no part with Him, but now He has made you one of His chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, and from Him you have received mercy. 1 Peter 2

Receive My gifts as I give them to you, My child; accept My provision as I make it available.
As a loving Father, I desire the best for you, My dear one, and will include nothing that is deadly or dangerous.
Do not sort through or pick over that which you know My Spirit is speaking to you, My precious one, selecting the parts you find delightful but shunning or disdaining the parts you prefer to avoid.
Balance is necessary and bitter herbs, when combined with savory meats, will help prevent excess.

May you keep the decrees of the Lord steadfastly to end as He teaches you to follow the way of His statutes. Psalm 119

May you keep God’s law and obey it with your whole heart when He gives you understanding. Psalm 119

May you find delight as the Lord directs you in the path of His commands. Psalm 119

May you allow the Lord to incline your heart to His testimonies and turn your heart toward His statutes, and not toward covetousness or selfish gain, such as robbery, sensuality, or unworthy riches. Psalm 119

May you desire the Lord to turn your eyes away from vain and worthless things, which become idols and and lead to idolatry, and preserve your life according to His word, restoring you to vigorous life and health in His ways. Psalm 119

May you fear the Lord with reverential awe, devoted worship and respectful obedience when He establishes His Word and fulfills His promise to you. Psalm 119

May you proclaim the goodness of His laws and ordinances when the Lord turns away the reproach you fear and takes away the disgrace that you dread. Psalm 119

May you long for His precepts, for He will renew and preserve your life in His righteousness. Psalm 119

May you ever watch for, and rejoice in, the Lord’s mercies and unfailing love and His salvation according to His promise. Psalm 119

May you lean on, rely on and trust in the word of the Lord, for then you will be able to answer the one who taunts and reproaches you. Psalm 119

May you put your hope in the laws of God so that you will always have the word of truth in your mouth. Psalm 119

May you keep His law continually for ever and ever, hearing, receiving, loving and obeying it. Psalm 119

May you seek after, inquire for, and desperately require His precepts, for then you will walk about in liberty and at ease. Psalm 119

May you speak of His statutes and testimonies before kings, for you will not be put to shame since your love for His commands bring you such delight. Psalm 119

May you lift up your hands in fervent supplication to His commands, which you love, and meditate on His decrees. Psalm 119

November 22

James 4:14 What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.

1 Corinthians 5:7 Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.

Romans 14:19 So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.

Psalm 84:11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

Galatians 5:16 So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.

Luke 11:27-28 As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, “Blessed is the mother who gave You birth and nursed you.” He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”

May you understand that to draw close to God and be in communion with Him, knowing His majesty and worshiping Him in the reverential awe of the fear of God is to gain wisdom, to know God’s precepts and to walk in God’s ways. This will prepare you to teach others the difference between the holy and the common, and to serve as a judge in any dispute among His people, deciding it according to God’s ordinances. Ezekiel 44

May you be willing to count Christ as your only inheritance, giving up all options and hope for riches and advancement in this world, dependent entirely on what He brings to you each day. Rely not on your own strength or understanding, contacts or knowledge, but serve the Lord through ministry to His people at home, in the workplace, and in the community. Ezekiel 44

May you do what is just and right toward others, rejecting violence and oppression in your relationships. Use the same standard for all as you minister righteously with mercy to others & receive just ministry with grace from all the Lord sends you. Ezekiel 45

May grace and peace be yours in abundance, as you have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father through the sanctifying work of the Spirit for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by His blood, to the praise of the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1

May you greatly rejoice in the living hope which He has given, because of His great mercy, by new birth through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and in the inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade, kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time, though for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 1 Peter 1

May you know that the trials which bring you grief are come so that your faith, which is of greater worth than gold which is not eternal, may be proved and shown to be genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor, which is eternal, when Jesus Christ is revealed. 1 Peter 1

May you grow in your love for Jesus, though you do not yet see Him, for you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy since you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your soul. 1 Peter 1

May you realize how awesome it is that you have been given the salvation which the prophets, who spoke of that grace, searched intently and with the greatest care to find out the time and circumstances to which the Spirit of Christ in them was pointing when He predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow, only to learn that they were serving you, not themselves, for even angels long to look into these things. 1 Peter 1

My child, look continually forward to all I have for you.
The past has served its purpose, and I am well able to use the joys and sorrows and pains and delights that you have known, My dear one, to benefit you and establish My will in your life, but only as you release them.
Do not dwell on what is past, for it is gone, and I am in the NOW – therefore abide in Me and hear what I am saying TODAY, for that is how you will have life and receive light.
Do not try to live on the stale crumbs of the past, My precious one, but accept the fresh bread, daily, that I give you to enable you to confront the obstacles and challenges of today. Know the victory I give you over the flesh, the world, and the enemy as I help you drive them out of the land of your life little by little.
You must fight today’s battles, My willing warrior, and not try to relive yesterday’s struggles. Walk with Me in the joy that comes from knowing I am with you all the way, giving you all the land upon which you place your foot as you move forward.

May you observe the Word of God as He deals bountifully with you, as you set your heart like that of a servant to hear, receive, love, and obey it. Psalm 119

May you behold wondrous things out of His law as He opens your eyes to see. Psalm 119

May you confess by your choices that you are a stranger, pilgrim, sojourner, and temporary resident on the earth, for then He will not hide His commandments from you. Psalm 119

May your heart break and your soul be consumed with the longing it has for God’s ordinances and judgments at all times. Psalm 119

May you keep the Lord’s statutes and testimonies so that He will remove from you the scorn and take away from you the reproach of the arrogant who stray from His commands and the contempt with which He rebukes the accursed ones who err in their pride, wandering from Him. Psalm 119

May you meditate on God’s decrees and statutes, even though authorities and powers sit together and slander you. Psalm 119

May you find delight in God’s statutes and may His testimonies be your counselors. Psalm 119

May you look to the Word of God to revive and stimulate you when your earthly life cleaves to the dust, preserving your life according to His word when you are laid low. Psalm 119

May you declare and recount your ways and open your griefs to the Lord, for He will listen and answer as He teaches you His decrees. Psalm 119

May you meditate on and talk of His wondrous works as the Lord makes you to understand the teaching and way of His precepts. Psalm 119

May you turn to the Lord when your life dissolves and weeps itself away for heaviness, for He will raise you up and strengthen you according to the promises of His Word. Psalm 119

May you desire of the Lord to remove from you the way of falsehood and unfaithfulness to Him and graciously impart His law to you. Psalm 119

May you set before your face and turn your heart toward the laws and ordinances of God to show that you have chosen the way of truth & faithfulness. Psalm 119

May you cleave to His statutes & hold fast to His testimonies, for the Lord will not let you be put to shame. Psalm 119

May you not merely walk but run in the path of His commandments when the Lord gives you a heart that is free and willing. Psalm 119

May you be reassured that the poor will receive the wealth of the wicked, for the Lord will give it to those who will have compassion on the needy. Proverbs 28:8

May you understand that if you don’t listen to the words of God, He will not listen to your words of prayer. Proverbs 28:9

Psalm 119:64 The earth, O Lord, is full of thy mercy: teach me Thy statutes.

Acts 20:35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

John 12:24 Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.

1 Samuel 16:7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

Mark 5:19 And he did not permit him but said to him, “Go home to your friends and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.”

Psalm 51:1-2 Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your unfailing love; according to Your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.

May you earnestly desire the privilege of dwelling in the house of the Lord, abiding in His presence, surrounded by His glory, ministering to Him, for just as the temple had many private chambers for the priests, so Jesus promised that in His Fathers house are many rooms, which He has gone to prepare.
Ezekiel 42, John 14

May you put away any thing which receives the portion designated for and claimed by God – any thing or any one to whom you give worship and complete surrender, devotion above all others, thanksgiving and praise for what you have, confession and repentance for forgiveness and cleansing – for only as you remove from the throne what you have placed there and give to God that which belongs to God, and to the world that which belongs to the world, will the Lord come to live and abide with you forever. Ezekiel 43

May you know that the goods and wealth which can be hoarded will not be of use when you truly need it in the day of the Lord, so owe no man any debt except the debt of love, and let good works, done in obedience to the Father, lay up true riches suitable for eternity and appropriate to offer the King. James 5

May you be patient until the Lord’s coming, just as the farmer waits for the land to yield its crop, waiting for the rain in due season, standing firm because His arrival is near, not grumbling against each other, for the Judge is already at the door. James 5

May you be blessed as you persevere in patient suffering for righteousness sake, as did the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord, for you have heard of Job’s perseverance, and have seen what the Lord, full of compassion and mercy, finally brought about. James 5

May your speech be plain, without embellishments, that you may not dishonor your Head and that men may know that you are walking in integrity. James 5

May you turn to God continually each day, conversing with Him, listening to what the Spirit says, in all states, whether you are in trouble and distress, or happy and full of praise, or ill in body or mind and needing the support and strength of the called out ones, for the prayer offered by faith in the name of the Lord will make the sick well and bring the sinner forgiveness as you confess to, and pray for, each other for healing through the powerful and effective prayer of righteousness in Christ. James 5

May you remember that whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins. James 5

My child, I call you to work, not to idleness.
It is a sacred work that I assign you, one for which you have been shaped and formed by My Hand, trained and equipped by My Spirit. It is not a work you can do in your own strength and skill, nor one that you can accomplish with your own strategies and wisdom.
If you begin to feel you have been given an impossible task, My dear one, then you are beginning to truly see and hear what My Spirit is speaking to your heart.
It is when you feel a dread inside and a concern that you have bitten off more than you can chew, when you start wondering if you were wise to promise to follow Me where I would lead you that I can begin to truly use you in My work.
That is when, in desperation, you will begin to lay aside the useless tools of man and the worthless wisdom of the world and come to Me in humility, asking for My wisdom and seeking to find My strength in My Word.
I rejoice to receive you at the time you feel the most worthless and the least valuable, for I can only use an empty vessel, not one filled with self-confidence and influenced by other agendas.
Empty yourself, My precious one, and receive My infilling; seek Me early for your daily bread and wine and oil, then go in My strength and joy and glory to fulfill My commission, returning empty but obedient, having gone forth bearing fruit and returning bearing the harvest.

May your ways be undefiled, upright, truly sincere and blameless as you order your conduct and conversation according to the revealed will of God, for you shall be blessed, happy, fortunate and to be envied. Psalm 119

May you seek the Lord, inquiring for and of Him, craving Him with your whole heart, for those who keep His testimonies and statutes will be joyful, blessed, happy, and fortunate. Psalm 119

May you walk in the ways of the Lord that you will do no unrighteousness or willful wandering from His precepts. Psalm 119

May you keep the precepts of the Lord and observe them diligently as He has commanded, fully obeying them for the joy set before you. Psalm 119

May your ways be steadfast, directed and established, in hearing, receiving, loving and obeying His decrees, for then you will not be put to shame by failing to inherit His promises, when you have respect to all the commands of the Lord. Psalm 119

May you praise Him and give thanks to Him with an upright heart as you learn by sanctified experiences His righteous decisions against and punishments for particular lines of thought and conduct, for He will not forsake you utterly as you obey His decrees. Psalm 119

May you take heed to and keep watch on yourself, conforming your life according to His word, that you may cleanse and keep your way pure. Psalm 119

May you lay up His word in your heart that you might not sin against Him. Psalm 119

May you declare and recount with your lips all the laws and ordinances that come from His mouth, praising the Lord as He teaches you His decrees and statutes. Psalm 119

May you rejoice in following His statutes as others rejoice in great riches. Psalm 119

May you be discerning enough to prefer being a poor person who walks blameless in his integrity rather than a rich man whose ways are perverse, gaining his wealth through double-dealing. Proverbs 28:6

May you be a discerning child of God who heeds the law of the Lord, not entertaining companions who serve worthlessness. Proverbs 28:7

November 20

Proverbs 11:20 The LORD… delights in those whose ways are blameless.

Hebrews 13:5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

Galatians 2:16 So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.

Psalm 9:10 And they that know Thy name will put their trust in Thee: for Thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek Thee.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

May you allow the Lord to draw you closer to Him, into His inner courts, where you can cleanse your hands and feet, made dusty from all you have done and where you have been while ministering to others, so that you can turn and minister to Him as you worship Him in the beauty of His holiness. Ezekiel 40

May you realize, with humility-inspiring awe, that the holy God Who created the universe and cannot be contained, even in the heavens, chooses to dwell in fellowship with you, allowing His majesty to be clothed in flesh, just as His temple, built of enduring stone, was covered with wood into which was carved the enduring truth of His love and the abundant evidence of His mercy. Ezekiel 41

May you bring every desire to God, right or wrong, good or bad, and submit them to Him, accepting His response, not searching for other ways or sources; you will not shock the Lord, for He knows every thought and impulse you have, and He understands the ways of the flesh and knows the thoughts that come, unbidden, to mind, so give them to the One Who is strong enough to overcome them and compassionate enough to love you fully even as He knows you fully. James 4

May you remember that friendship with the world is hatred toward God, and to choose to be a friend of the world is to become an enemy of God. James 4

May you submit yourself to God, for He gives grace to the humble but opposes the proud, so when you resist the devil, he will flee, and when you draw near to God, He will come near to you. James 4

May you cleanse your hands from the residue of the sin you have left behind and purify your heart from the things of the world that divide your loyalty to God, letting tears of repentance for your previous choices, and sorrowful grieving for others’ behavior bring you into the presence of God, for as you humble yourself before Him, He will lift you up. James 4

May you not speak against your brother or sister in Christ, for you will be speaking against God’s law, which does not make you a doer of the law, but a judge of the law, and of the Lawgiver, the only One Who is able to save and to destroy. James 4

May you acknowledge the sovereignty of God in your plans, confessing by your words that He alone holds the future in His hands, submitting all that you are and everything that you plan unto the lordship of Christ Jesus Who is your Head and Master, and put aside all boasting and bragging which is based on your own resources and abilities, for to know the good you ought to do and not do it is sin. James 4

My child, I am sending you forth as a messenger to carry My tidings to all.
Spend time with Me, My dear one. Listen to My words and tune yourself to My heart. Quiet yourself, My precious one, from the activities and anxieties of what is around you. Know that, in truth, I hold all of your circumstances in My hand. Understand that you can rest in the peace which that realization creates in your heart.
You are to not simply speak of Me, My sent one, but you are to live for Me. Engage in all that occurs around you, encountering all that life brings. Respond through My Spirit, My caring one, walking out My Word.
For unless those who dwell in the world see My love in your life as you deal with the same things they deal with, how will they know the truth of My promises, and the strength of My compassion, and the reality of My victory?

May you enter the gates of righteousness when He opens them and give thanks to the Lord. Psalm 118

May you give thanks to the Lord for He has answered you and become your salvation, granting you the right to enter His gates with the righteous. Psalm 118

May you bless the Lord, for He saves you and grants you success, shining His light upon you as you bless Him. Psalm 118

May you give thanks to the Lord for He is good and His love endures forever. Psalm 118

May you nurture the poor and the needy, encouraging them to flourish and bring forth a harvest of praise to the Lord. Proverbs 28:3

May you keep the law of love and resist the wicked. Proverbs 28:4

May you seek the Lord continually, for you will gain a full understanding of His justice. Proverbs 28:5

Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

Deuteronomy 8:2 And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep His commandments, or no.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.

Ephesians 6:18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,

Lamentations 3:25 The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him.

May you not try to withstand or refute the Lord, for He will turn you around and take you along as He determines, bringing you from where you are to where He decides, making you powerless and removing your resources, to show you what is in your heart and give you opportunity to turn to Him in repentance and be saved, or continue to resist and reject the Lord, ending up in destruction, knowing, in either case, that God is the Lord. Ezekiel 39

May you believe that the Lord will make known His holy name to you, no longer letting His holy name be profaned and all the powers of the nations will know that the Lord God is the Holy One in Israel on that day which will surely take place, for He has spoken it. Ezekiel 39

May you come to understand that when the Lord gives you the victory over His enemy, you will be able to use for good that which the enemy intended for your harm. Ezekiel 39

May you realize that after you overcome the enemy in your life, receiving and walking in the immediate victory that God gives you through the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony, that the cleansing of the land of your soul, your thoughts and your feelings, will have to be walked out with diligence and vigilance. Ezekiel 39

May you never forget that the glory of the Lord will be shown among the nations, and they will know that it was His hand that was laid upon them. From every family, tribe, clan, tongue, people, and nation, will He draw those whose hearts are toward Him and willing to submit to Him when they see the righteousness of God toward His people. For as He deals with their uncleanness and offenses, and pours out His mercy toward them in love, He will restore them with acceptance to live safely in His blessing, leaving none behind and pouring out His Spirit when His discipline is received and His training walked out. Ezekiel 39

May you remain attentive to all that the Lord has to tell you when He pulls you aside from your routine, not allowing distractions from the flesh, the world, or the enemy to intrude, but sharing His entire message with those He has placed before you. Ezekiel 40

May you be able to demonstrate your faith by what you do, for that will separate you from all evil-doers. James 2

May your faith and your actions work together, with your faith being made complete by what you do, that when you believe God and do His works, it will be credited to you as righteousness. James 2

May you realize that faith without deeds is dead, just as the body without the spirit is not alive. James 2

My child, do not be disturbed if recognition does not come to you as you do My work, but rejoice and be glad that others learn of My Name and hear of My deeds and find their way to Me in their time of need.
Do you have the answers they seek? Can you support them when the waters of despair grow deep? Will you be able keep the fire of hope strong in their hearts so that it endures the storms that are raging in their lives?
I know you inside and out, My precious one, and I treasure who you are in Me, gladly speaking your name before My Father. What benefit can society give to those they favor which can compare to the Father’s treasures of peace and riches of mercy which He gives willingly and abundantly to you?
Those favored by man will soon be forgotten and replaced by others, but those known to God are eternally satisfied by the joys found in His presence. Do not seek to be known by any but God, My dear one, and seek not to know others except through God.

May you recall that those who teach will be judged more strictly, and because we all stumble in many ways, we should not all presume to be teachers, only those whom God has gifted and called. James 3

May you show your wisdom and understanding by your good life and by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom, not harboring bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts. James 3

May you seek after the wisdom that comes from heaven, for it is first of all pure, then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. James 3

May you give thanks to the Lord, for He is good and His love endures forever. Psalm 118

May you cry to the Lord when you are in anguish, for He will answer by setting you free; since the Lord is with you, there is no need to fear, for man cannot cause you true or permanent harm when the Lord gives you help. Psalm 118

May you take refuge in the Lord rather than trust in man or princes, for then you will look in triumph on the enemy of your soul. Psalm 118

May you cut off the principalities and powers that surround you on every side, like swarming bees, in the name of the Lord, for you will see them die out as quickly as burning thorns. Psalm 118

May you make the Lord your strength and your song, for when you are pushed back and about to fall, the Lord will help you and become your salvation. Psalm 118

May you proclaim with shouts of joy and victory among the righteous the mighty things the Lord’s right hand has done as He lifts it high, for you will not die but live since, though He chastens you severely, He does not give you over to death. Psalm 118

Ecclesiastes 5:4 When you make a vow to God, do not delay in fulfilling it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow.

Matthew 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the Lord thy God, He is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love Him and keep His commandments to a thousand generations;

Proverbs 6:23 For this command is a lamp, this teaching is a light, and correction and instruction are the way to life,

Hebrews 13:16 And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.

Psalm 34:5 They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed.

May you know the truth of God’s ability to bring life back into the hopes you have had and the dreams He has given you, even though you feel it is too late to ever happen, or that you have kept His promise from being realized by your choices or actions, for He is not through with you, but will graft you onto the true Vine and what appeared to be a dead stick will bud, leaf, and bear fruit, and you will know that it was the Lord who has spoken it and His hand which has done it when He puts His Spirit in you. Ezekiel 37

May you believe the Lord will fulfill His promise to mend the split and repair the division that has existed in your life for so long that you cannot imagine it changing; for just as He promised one king over the houses of Ephraim and Judah, so He will heal the rift under the one Head of the Body of Christ, never again to be divided, but cleansed of the sin and given a new heart and a new spirit, made into His dwelling pace and sanctuary forever, and He will be known as the Lord. Ezekiel 37

May you not be fearful nor be terrified by what you see happening, for when you are dwelling in safety and living at peace with your neighbors, the Lord will draw others out who are determined to take advantage of you, coming against you, persecuting you, seeking to loot and plunder you, for they do not see any defenses to stop them from stealing what God’s blessings have brought you; He will show you what is in your heart, whether to walk in His way or depend on the arm of flesh, that you may turn to Him and be cleansed and walk closer in His Spirit, even as His hot anger is poured out in judgment on those attacking His beloved, showing His majesty, power, and holiness to many nations, so they will know that He is the Lord. Ezekiel 38

May you be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man’s anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires; therefore, ridding yourself of all uncleanness and evil excess, humbly receive the implanted Word, which is able to save you. James 1

May you not deceive yourself by merely listening to God’s word, but do what it says, for anyone who listens to His word, looking intently into the perfect law that gives freedom and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it, he will be blessed in what he does. James 1

May you keep a tight rein on your tongue, lest you deceive yourself with worthless religion, for God our Father accepts your ministry as pure and undefiled if you take care of orphans and widows in their affliction, and you keep your soul from defilement by the world. James 1

Do not be afraid, My child, when you see shaking begin, for I will bring it to the institutions of the world, the structures of society, the elements of your life, and even the physical features of the earth.
In the world, shaking will separate, isolate, and break what is shaken, but in My kingdom, shaking will bring together, consolidate, and strengthen that which is of Me, removing all that is of the world.
Allow My Spirit to draw you closer to Me in love, My dear one, for then fear, which has to do with punishment, will have no place in you, and you will be stable and firmly grounded in My Word.

May you not show favoritism as a believer in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, for if you treat two brothers differently on the basis of their clothes or worldly wealth, have you not made divisions within the Body of Christ and used a corrupt standard to make judgments? James 2

May you realize and recall that God has chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom He promised those who love Him. James 2

May you speak and act as one who is going to be judged by the law that gives freedom, because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful, since mercy triumphs over judgment! James 2

May the faith you claim lead you into works of love, for just as your faith is a gift from God, so is the love that gives life to the faith you walk in, since either faith or works, if alone, is dead, but together they bring the power of life in God. James 2 Ephesians 2 Matthew 5

May you praise the Lord with all the nations and extol Him with all the people, for great is His love toward us and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Psalm 117

November 17

John 9:4 I must work the works of Him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

May you not harbor resentment or hold on to long-standing grudges that prevent you from showing God’s grace to others in their time of need, for God is just, faithfully measuring out to you, whether great or small, the same measurement you use for others, showing mercy to those who are merciful, and judging you with the same judgment you use on His people. Ezekiel 35

May you bear with others in their sorrows, sharing comfort in their distress, bringing encouragement to lift their head and strengthen their hands in the time of their trouble, for that which you choose to give to others is what you will receive from the hand of God. Ezekiel 35

May you know that though others turn from you or deride you as you go through God’s discipline, not understanding His will or recognizing His purpose in cleansing, purging and purifying you to receive His power in love, His authority in mercy, and His strength in grace, the Lord will honor you in their eyes – not for your sake, but for His name’s sake, and to test them, showing them what is in their heart, that they may repent and be renewed in forgiveness. Ezekiel 36

May you be ready to respond when the Lord calls you to Himself, for He will sprinkle you with clean water, cleansing you from all your impurities and distractions, giving you a new heart and putting a new spirit in you, removing from you your heart of stone and giving you a heart of flesh, for the Lord will put His Spirit in you, and move you to follow His decrees and be careful to walk in His ways so that He will be your God and you will be His child, having been saved by the Lord from all your uncleanness, knowing that He does all this for His name’s sake. Ezekiel 36

May you consider it pure joy whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance, endurance, patience, and steadfastness which, when finished, will prepare you perfectly and equip you completely, so that you will be lacking nothing. James 1

May you ask God whenever you need wisdom, for He gives generously to all without reproach or finding fault, but be sure your faith is in God alone, not doubting or wavering, for if your loyalty is divided, you will not be able to stay on course or receive anything from the Lord. James 1

May you rejoice in your seasons of want, for then God can strengthen your faith by being more visibly seen as your Source for all your needs; and may you rejoice in your times of plenty, for then you can loosen your grip on the world and grow in humility as you understand God’s favor, and not your ability, brings it to pass. James 1

My child, what convinces you that I am the Lord?
Is it the love and compassion you feel when My Spirit makes My Word real to you and brings life to your spirit as you pray and draw close to Me?
Is it the awe and respectful fear that you experience when you see My power demonstrated in someone’s life, delivering and healing them in a miraculous way?
Is it the weighty and sorrowful conviction of sin when My Spirit moves on your heart to bring cleansing and purifying to your life and your ways?
Is it the dreadful and terrible shaking you encounter when My judgment is executed against the enemy and those who choose to be influenced by him, even to those who call themselves by My Name, but whose hearts are far from Me?
It is your choice, My dear one. I am the Lord, and all mankind will know that I AM.

May you persevere under trial, for when you have stood the test, you will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him. James 1

May you not be deceived, but understand that every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, Who does not change like shifting shadows, but chooses to give you birth through the word of truth that you might be a kind of first-fruits of all He created. James 1

May you love the Lord for He hears your voice when you cry for mercy, and because He turns His ear to you, you know you can call on Him as long as you live. Psalm 116

May you call on the name of the Lord to save you when you are overcome by trouble and sorrow, and the cords of death entangle you as the anguish of the grave comes upon you, for the Lord is gracious and righteous, full of compassion, protecting the unwary and inexperienced, saving you in your great need. Psalm 116

May you be at rest once more for the Lord has been good to you, delivering your soul from death, your eyes from tears, and your feet from stumbling that you may walk before the Lord in the land of the living. Psalm 116

May you repay the Lord for all His goodness to you by lifting up the cup of salvation and calling on the name of the Lord as you fulfill your vows to the Lord in the presence of all His people. Psalm 116

May you truly serve the Lord, Who has freed you from your chains, for precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. Psalm 116

Mark 4:18-19 Those sown among the thorns … are the ones who hear the Word, but the cares of the world, and the lure of wealth, and the desire for other things come in and choke the Word, and it yields nothing.

Philippians 3:20 Our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 11:16 …they were longing for a better country — a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.

Proverbs 29:18 Without revelation people run wild, but one who listens to instruction will be happy.

Hebrews 1:1-2 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son …

Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,

May you speak the word of the Lord in love, with integrity, being no respecter of persons, but with your eyes on the Lord, obedient, without fear of man, leaving the result in His hands. Ezekiel 33

May you know the heart of the Lord and walk in His desire, taking no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but seek rather that they turn from their ways and live! Ezekiel 33

May you know the mind of the Lord, rightly dividing the Word of truth, not leaning to your own understanding, but being led by His Spirit into the truth of His will, that you may discern the path He has for you to follow, recognizing His voice from the many who speak in His name, but talk from their own lusts. Ezekiel 33

May you do the work of the Lord, expressing His love without judgment, caring for the flock, strengthening the weak, healing the sick, binding up the injured, searching for the lost and returning the strays, for they have been treated harshly and brutally by the hirelings, scattered over all the mountains and hills because they had no shepherd, and have been devoured by the enemy. Ezekiel 34

May you keep on loving each other as brothers, not forgetting to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it, and remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering. Hebrews 13

May you honor marriage as God instituted it, for He will judge those who do not. Hebrews 13

May you keep your life free from the love of money and be content with what you have because God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you,’ so you may say with confidence, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?’ Hebrews 13

May you remember those through whom God has spoken His word to you, considering the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith, for Jesus Christ remains the same, yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13

May your heart be strengthened by grace, not tradition, that you will not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings. Hebrews 13

Listen for the sound of My presence in your life. I have always been with you, but you have not always known I was there. I command the resources you need, and they come to serve you at My call.
At times, you will hear the deafening sound in the treetops of My army marching to join you in spiritual battle to overcome the enemy who strikes at My people in envy and hatred. At other times, I will give you the sound of a blossom opening, that you will know the gentleness of the Spirit’s work in your life, bringing renewal and refreshing.
Even as you have known My love through My strength, I will show you My strength through My love. Rest in My promises, and know that I am the Lord your God Who is your sufficiency.

May you be willing to follow Jesus, Whose blood makes you holy, even to bearing the disgrace He bore as He suffered outside the boundaries of society and into the unpleasant places of our culture, for we are looking beyond the present to an enduring city that is to come. Hebrews 13

May you continually, through Jesus, offer to God a sacrifice of praise – the fruit of lips that confess His name, not forgetting to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. Hebrews 13

May you obey your leaders and submit to their authority, for they keep watch over you as those who must give an account; so obey them that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you. Hebrews 13

May the God of peace, Who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing His will, and may He work in you what is pleasing to Him, through Jesus Christ, to Whom be glory for ever and ever. Hebrews 13

May you give the glory to the name of the Lord because of His love and faithfulness, not keeping or claiming any of it for yourself. Psalm 115

May you trust in the Lord your God, Who is in heaven and does whatever pleases Him, and not in the idols of silver and gold, which are made by the hands of men, for those who make them will be like them, as will all who trust in them – having the appearance of life on the outside, but being cold and dead on the inside. Psalm 115

May you fear the Lord and trust in Him Who is your help and shield, for the Lord remembers you and will bless you, whether small or great, making you increase, as well as your children. Psalm 115

May you extol the Lord, both now and evermore, for though the highest heavens belong to Him, He has given the earth to man, that you may be blessed by the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 115

John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

Romans 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

Romans 15:1 We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves.

Ephesians 4:16 The whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

Philippians 2:7 He made Himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all. For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil.

May you be content in the blessings of God, accepting what He gives you, always remaining thankful to Him, and giving all glory to Him, acknowledging what He has done, recognizing what you would have without Him, and confessing your need for Him. Ezekiel 31

May you confess that the Lord, He is God, and that He has made you, giving you all good and perfect gifts, supplying every need, and upholding you by the power of His hand, realizing and testifying that without Him you would have, and be, nothing worthwhile. Ezekiel 32

May you make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy, for without holiness no one will see the Lord. Hebrews 12

May you be careful to share the grace of God with all you know so that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many. Hebrews 12

May you live a life of purity, valuing the things of God, demonstrating to others the goodness that God fills those with who hunger for and seek after the Lord, that they may live without regrets. Hebrews 12

May you be grateful that you have not come to Mount Sinai, but to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the living God, with multitudes of angels in joyful assembly, to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven, and to God, the judge of all men, to the spirits of righteous men made perfect, to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel. Hebrews 12

May you not refuse Him Who speaks, for if they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from Him Who warns us from heaven? Hebrews 12

May you be thankful to God, Who is a consuming fire, worshiping Him acceptably with reverence and awe since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken. Hebrews 12

I have not called you to walk alone, My child, but in unity. My Spirit is drawing you, calling you, wooing you to come together and function with a singleness of vision and purpose.
Each one has their own assignment, each one walks out their own salvation, each one develops their own intimate relationship with Me, but each one returns from time spent alone in My presence with a piece of the picture that all need in order to walk in agreement.
Just as Abraham would not allow Isaac to return to find a bride, but sent Eliezer to make much of Isaac, telling of his worth, and to find one who would be drawn to him, so the Holy Spirit speaks to each heart of the worth and the love of Jesus, to find and ready a Bride, worthy of God’s Son, willing to leave all and prepare herself for Him.
I have called you to work which is yours alone, but it is to be done from the unity of fellowship, that the diversity of experience, wisdom, understanding, encouragement and empowering gifts, all from Me, may strengthen you and make you stable in the storms to come, just as many stones, fitly joined together, make a shelter for many.
Let your heart open, in vulnerability, to My Spirit in others and allow the bonds of love to grow, strengthening the connections, receiving that which each part supplies that you may know His joy of anticipation and draw many to Him, that your joy may be complete.

May you praise the Lord, as you serve Him, both now and evermore, that His name shall be praised from the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, for He is exalted over all the nations, His glory above the heavens, since there is no one like the Lord our God, the One Who sits enthroned on high and stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth. Psalm 113

May you honor the Lord Who raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap, seating them with princes of the people, and settles the barren woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Psalm 113

May you tremble with the earth at the presence of the Lord, Who turned the rock into a pool and brought springs of water out of the hard rock when He brought His people out of captivity, for the sea looked on His glory and fled, the river saw His majesty and turned back, the mountains skipped and the hills shook when the Lord your God took action on your behalf. Psalm 114

May you be diligent and faithful in your duties and assignments to the end, for the Lord will reward and honor you as an overcomer. Proverbs 27:18

May you remember that a man’s heart reflects the man as water reflects a face, and guard the gates of your mind against impurity coming in. Proverbs 27:19

May you be satisfied with what the Lord your God gives you, trusting Him to know what you need, and not follow the desires of your eyes, which never know satisfaction. Proverbs 27:20

1 Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time:

2 Corinthians 12:9 And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.

Psalm 31:14-15 The psalmist wrote, “I trusted in Thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my God. My times are in Thy hand.”

Deuteronomy 8:2 Remember how the LORD your God led you all the way in the desert these forty years, to humble you and to test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep His commands

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven.

Psalm 51:1-2 Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your unfailing love; according to Your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.

May you be quick to hear the Lord speak and swift to obey His command, that you will heed His word and not require His hand in order to know that He is the Lord. Ezekiel 29

May you find the grace to accept the actions of God and the judgments of God, for you know that He is righteous and holy in all He does, and no effort to circumvent His choices will be profitable, but instead seek His truth and mercy lest you see more of His power and justice. Ezekiel 30

May you fix your eyes upon Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith, Who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God, surrounded by a great cloud of faithful witnesses who were all commended for their faith, but are waiting for us to throw off everything that hinders, and the sin that so easily entangles, so that we can run with perseverance the race marked out for us, since God has planned something better so that only together will they, and we, come into the full and final glory in body and soul that has been planned by God from before the foundations of the earth. Hebrews 11

May you consider Jesus, Who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. Hebrews 12

May you recall that, unlike others, in your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. Hebrews 12

Do not fret if the journey appears to drag on past your expectations; do not fear that you may have made a wrong decision and taken a wrong turn. I am trustworthy and able, and will not leave you or misguide you, for I am not a man that I should lie; I am the True and Faithful One, your Redeemer and Shepherd, and I have laid down My life for My flock, and continue to care for you as the good shepherd does his sheep, never absent, always alert, preparing the way, never hurrying the herd, tending the injured, carrying the weak, unwaveringly devoted to, and caring for, you.
You do not know the path, for you have never been this way before, but I know it well, for I created it. When you are tired and hungry, you do not know where to find the rich pastures, but I know each location, for I have prepared them for your needs. When you thirst, you would have to search to find safe places to drink from and cross the streams, but I made each stream bed, leveling and widening places for you, calling My clouds to bring water from far away for your sake.
Trust in Me, rely on Me, listen for Me, and obey Me, taking comfort that My rod will fiercely defend you and gently direct you, while My staff will lift and extract you when you fall or get entangled, giving you freedom again. I will bring you safely to the destination, to the journey’s end; all who pass under My rod are safe, not one will be lost – I not only know you, but I have numbered your hairs and know your heart, loving you as you are, and keeping you on the journey.

May you remember the word of encouragement that addresses you as an heir: ‘My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, and do not lose heart when He rebukes you, because the Lord disciplines those He loves and He chastens everyone He accepts as a son.’ Hebrews 12

May you submit to the Father of your spirit and live, accepting and enduring hardship as discipline, for God is treating you as an heir, disciplining you for your good, that you may share in His holiness, painful though the process is, to produce a harvest of righteousness and peace once you have been trained. Hebrews 12

May you strengthen your feeble arms and lift your weak hands that hang down in exhaustion, and set your shaky knees firmly so that you may strive, with faith and patience, as you follow your calling in the grace of peace and holiness, making straight and level paths to follow, so that the limb which is weak will not be put out of joint, but rather be healed. Hebrews 12

May you fear the Lord and find great delight in His commands, for your children will be mighty in the land, the generation of the upright will be blessed by your faithfulness, and your house will be filled with the spiritual wealth and heavenly riches of God’s wisdom and favor as you walk in the righteousness of Christ. Psalm 112

May you be generous and lend freely, for good will come to you as you conduct your affairs with justice, and light will dawn for you even in darkness as you express the gracious, compassionate and righteous nature of Christ Jesus. Psalm 112

May your heart be steadfast, trusting in the Lord, and secure, not fearing any bad news, for having scattered abroad your gifts to the poor, you know that the name of Christ will be exalted in honor, His righteousness will endure forever, and you will look in triumph on His foes. Psalm 112

May you be blessed with friends who are used by the Spirit to sharpen your wits and understanding, even as iron sharpens iron. Proverbs 27:17

November 13

Psalm 16:3 The psalmist wrote, “I say of the holy people who are in the land, ‘They are the noble ones in whom is all my delight.’”

Hebrews 11:13 All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth.

Romans 5:5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.

Psalm 73:25 Whom have I in heaven but Thee? And besides Thee, I desire nothing on earth. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever…

Hebrews 13:6 So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”

May you recognize the value of the talents God has given you to make, express, produce, understand, reveal, do, create or realize, and may you willingly share the results with the Body of Christ according to each member’s needs in obedience to the leading of the Spirit, humbly giving honor to the Lord for making it possible through His empowering gifts which He provides as part of your spiritual inheritance, so that you will not take pride in it as though you yourself had done this thing by your own power and resources. Ezekiel 27

May you rest your hope in God Almighty, the Eternal One Who never fails, and not in the kingdoms or nations of the earth for each one, as surely as it rises, will just as surely decline and decay, failing at some point to provide your needs and sustain your life. Ezekiel 27

May you always remember when you are in the marketplace that you are the Lord’s steward and, as a result, conduct your business and perform your work according to God’s word, following His precepts, using your goods to the benefit of all for the praise and honor of your King. Ezekiel 27

May you know by faith that God is in each circumstance of your life, working His purpose, bringing you to His promise of blessing, turning what the enemy meant for harm, and causing good to come from it by His grace and strength and wisdom, so that all who hear will know that the Lord is the Sovereign God. Ezekiel 27, 28

May you daily remember that pride, which so easily besets us, was the downfall of God’s enemy and is the carnal inheritance of our fallen nature, from which we have been rescued by the completely finished and totally sufficient work of Jesus Christ, Savior and Redeemer of all who will humbly receive the gift of faith to believe and accept what He has done for us, turning from our own prideful efforts to rescue ourselves and yielding up the right to our own arrogant opinions of what is right or wrong so that we may receive the holy, humble, easily-entreated, wisdom from above which gives life. Ezekiel 28

May you recall, and be mindful of, the fact that, just as you have, each of those whose lives touch yours has the choice to learn from you about the Lord and worship Him or seek to influence you to follow their ways; therefore, walk in the Spirit and pray without ceasing that you may be a channel for the Word of God to be expressed through and the love of God to be demonstrated in. Ezekiel 28

May you grasp the reality that although circumstances are the tools God uses as messengers, whether annoyance and inconvenience or war and pestilence, He is glorified in His holiness and righteousness by restoring His people to safety and prosperity once they are cleansed of their sins and purged of their waywardness, for through the redemption and salvation of your life the Lord displays His truth, power, and mercy. Ezekiel 28

Where can you go to leave My presence, My child? I am everywhere, always beside you, never absent, never inattentive, always alert, fully aware of your thoughts, your words, your feelings.
However, when you choose other sources to draw from, other strengths to rely on, other comforts to turn to, My dear one, I may seem far away because the light in your heart grows dim, and the praise in your mouth grows faint, and your awareness of My Spirit fades as you move away from life and into death.
I remain as close as always, My searching one, ready to respond to the weakest whisper, the merest thought that turns back to Me, desiring My presence which has never left, seeking My love which has never been taken away, but simply going unnoticed.
My grace will never end and My love will never stop, but My Spirit will not always strive. Time will run out, so draw close, My concerned one. Do not turn your eyes away from Me and do not let go of My hand.
Wear the world loosely, My precious pilgrim, knowing its attractions are alluring but not life-giving; cling to Me to the end, and you will overcome.

May you walk in the accepting faith of Abraham, who was willing to lay down the promises he received from God, giving back to Him what he had received, trusting God is able to do what He said, no matter how impossible it seems. Hebrews 11

May you walk in the quiet faith of Isaac, who spoke the word of God into the blessings over his children, giving guidance and assurance in their walk, and healing in their relationship. Hebrews 11

May you walk in the enduring faith of Jacob, who continued to rely on God through all the tumultuous adventure of his life, giving an inheritance to his children and grandchildren which God honored. Hebrews 11

May you walk in the strong faith of Joseph, who stayed true to the task God assigned, not counting the riches and splendor of nobility to be his legacy, and exhibited his belief in the promise of God by being buried with those to whom God gave the promise of blessing, not being influenced by the culture of the world. Hebrews 11

May you walk in the steadfast faith of Amram and Jochebed, who saw the promise of God in their son, Moses, and obeyed God rather than Pharoah. Hebrews 11

May you walk in the transforming faith of Moses, who chose the promises and blessings of God, with all their discomfort and suffering, over the pleasures and ease of Egypt, regarding the “disgrace” of Christ to be of greater value than the “treasures” of the world, because he was looking ahead for his reward. Hebrews 11

May you extol the Lord with all your heart in the council of the upright and in the gathering of the people, for the works of the Lord are great and they are pondered by all who delight in them; His deeds are glorious and majestic and His righteousness endures forever. Psalm 111

May you follow His precepts in the fear of the Lord that you may gain good understanding and begin your walk in wisdom, for to Him belongs eternal praise. Psalm 111

May you proclaim how holy and awesome His name is, for He provides redemption for His people, ordaining His covenant forever; He has shown His people the power of His works, giving them the victory of His inheritance and the faithful and just works of His hands, for all His precepts are trustworthy, steadfast for ever, and done in faithfulness and uprightness. Psalm 111
