1 Corinthians 15:56-57 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:4-7 But God, being rich in mercy… 6 seated us with Him in the heavenly places… 7 in order that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

May you walk in the assurance of God’s promise of victory against the enemy of your soul while remaining alert to and aware of the tactics of the evil one, that you be more than a conqueror through Him Who loves you. Joshua 8

May you know and not be surprised, when you start to take possession of the land in your life where the kingdom of God is being established, that the powers which have dwelt there in years past will come together to intimidate, threaten, distract, coerce, and terrorize you, but God has defeated them already, as He promised, and as you walk in His love, you lose the spirit of fear, for since you are more than a conqueror, you are an inheritor. Joshua 9

My child, gain the deep understanding from My Word which will serve you in knowing My ways. Receive the living wisdom from My Spirit which is required to guide you as you walk circumspectly. Accept the loving grace from My hand which empowers you to promptly obey Me in humility.
Because you have a place in My Body, you cannot operate in isolation but in unity with each member. Though you receive gifts from My Spirit, they are not to set you apart, but to involve you as a vessel in meeting the needs of the saints. Since you have a calling in My service with authority, it comes with the responsibility to express that ministry in love, even more, in intercession and prayer, even more, in tears and strong petitions, on behalf of those I send you to.
I have much for you to do, My eager one, but it cannot be done in your own strength and understanding, or the “wisdom” from your experience.
Humble yourself, and pray and seek My face, and turn from your own natural ways. Then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive your presumption, and heal your soul, cleansing it from the stain of fleshly corruption, and make of you a holy vessel, purged and cleansed, fit for the service of the King.

May you be content and faithful in your service with few things, for when you prove yourself trustworthy in those, the Lord will make you steward over real riches. Luke 16

May you decide and choose whether you will serve God or the world, for you cannot serve both. Lk16

May you know God’s heart and understand that what is highly valued among men is detestable in God’s sight. Luke 16

May you enjoy good things from the fruit of your lips, as good men do, for he who guards his lips guards his life. Proverbs 13:2-3

May you present yourself before the Lord, listening to His Spirit, taking inventory and allowing Him to direct your attention so that He can point out to you that desire of the heart or pattern of thinking that seeks to steal His glory or retain His praise, allowing you to recognize it, isolate it, and consciously reject it, cleansing yourself of the sin that has kept His blessings from flowing in your life. Joshua 7

My child, when you find yourself at the end of your strength, do not blame yourself. When you cannot muster the strength to continue, do not condemn your heart.
When you are wearied in the journey and have no enthusiasm for the next step, much less the next stage of your travels, rejoice, for that is the time and the point in which I can truly begin to be to you the One I have longed to be.
When a parent brings their child to a new place, they know the child will be too excited to focus right away. Instead of listening, the child will run hither and yon, looking at everything new, excited beyond hearing, following their own fascination, investigating every different thing, caught up in the newness of all that is around them. Finally, worn out by all the distraction, they slow down and stop, exhausted, turning to look to their parent, ready to hear what they are told.
Rest in Me, My precious one, for you are exhausted with gladness. I will be your strength in the joy of My ministry. Know that I have much to tell you, and will teach you bit by bit, without hurry, paced for your comprehension.
I do not condemn you, My loved one, nor shall any other voice do so, for you are Mine, created, redeemed from the thief of your soul and returned to My embracing arms.
You are Mine, and you are loved everlastingly. Walk with Me as I talk with you.

May you listen to the Lord and hear the word of God as He warns you against having any god or desire that you bow down to or follow other than the Lord your God Who brought you up out of bondage. Psalm 81

May you simply listen to God and follow His ways, for then He would quickly subdue your enemies and turn your hand against your foes, causing those who hate the Lord to cringe before Him, and feeding you with the finest of wheat as He satisfies you with honey from the rock. Psalm 81

May you heed your Father’s instruction, as wise sons do, and not be a mocker who does not listen to rebuke. Proverbs 13:1

My child, you call Me Lord, and you are right. You acknowledge My kingship, and you do well. I have been made Lord of all lords and King of all kings by the Father Who loves Me.
But in ruling all kingdoms and reigning over all tribes, and assigning authority with responsibility to My people, do you understand all that means?
The earth has had many kings, and I am over them all; therefore, I am not only the King of glory and the Lord of righteousness, but I am also the King of grief, well-acquainted with sorrows, spending much time with those who are subjects of that kingdom.
I am Lord of wounds, pouring Myself out in sustaining and caring and comforting those who have been harmed, whether in physical ailments or the unseen, though just as debilitating, injuries of the heart, the mind, the spirit.
I am the King of poverty, and I cherish My subjects, strengthening them and teaching them to see the true treasures of My heavenly realm, encouraging them to realize all they have rather than focus on what they have not.
I am not an isolated King, My dear one, but I am involved in each of My kingdoms and I have tasks for you to carry out as My ambassador, My representative, My open hand reaching out to those I am drawing.
Follow Me, My love, for I have much to share.

May you choose the lesser option in any choice, considering others before yourself, so that God may honor you in the view of others. Luke 14

May you not turn away from God, but call on His name that He may revive you. Psalm 80

May you prize what God has given you, as the diligent do, and not waste what you have gathered, as the lazy man does. Proverbs 12:27

May you walk in the way of righteousness where there is life, for along that path is immortality. Proverbs 12:28

May you be strong and very courageous, careful to keep the Word in your mouth and in your heart, meditating on it day and night, quick to respond in love to the Father’s bidding, turning not from Him to the left or to the right, that you may be prosperous in the Spirit and successful in His work, never again terrified by the enemy or discouraged by circumstances. Joshua 1

May you help each other fight the good fight of faith that all may come to the maturity of the fullness of the knowledge of the Lord. Joshua 1

May you walk in God’s wisdom and perseverance toward the critics of God, while showing mercy and compassion towards the children of the kingdom. Luke 14

My child, lift Me up. I am in your hands to declare or to stifle, to promote or to hide.
Show My beauty, My dear one, do not cover it before others. Let My light shine forth in your life and let My ways decide your actions.
Do not flinch from stares, for there are many gazing at you who are hungry to see what a life lived for Me looks like. They are undecided, caught between what they have seen in the world, and what they have heard of Me, but never seen.
Walk in obedience to My Spirit, My love, and let them feast their eyes on the splendor that I will show them; not of you, but of the One Whom you love enough to follow in humble trust.

2 Corinthians 9:15 Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!

2 Peter 3:8-9 Nevertheless, do not let this one fact escape you, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord does not delay {and} is not tardy {or} slow about what He promises, according to some people’s conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance.

Nehemiah 9:17 …You are God, ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, abundant in kindness, and did not forsake them.

Psalm 33:16-17 No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength. 17 A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all its great strength it cannot save.

May you rest secure, sheltered in the Lord as His beloved, shielded by Him all day long as He carries you between His shoulders. Deuteronomy 33

May you be blessed by the Lord with the blessings of heaven and earth, with the choicest gifts of the high places and the best gifts of the fullness of the earth, given through the favor of the One Who dwelt in the burning bush as you pursue the battle against the powers that seek the glory of God for themselves, even to the ends of the earth. Deuteronomy 33

May you rejoice and be thankful for the blessings of the Lord upon your work and within your home, in your labor and your rest, as you call and invite others to draw near to the Lord, offering gifts to God in a manner and spirit that is pleasing to him. Deuteronomy 33

May you give glory to the Lord and honor to the King, worshiping Him with thanksgiving and praise, for through the Lord you have been victorious and by His Spirit you have regained control of yourself, being made stronger than the enemy who overpowered you and being given authority over the powers that once ruled you, as you serve your brethren in obedience to the Lord’s will. Deuteronomy 33

May you go forth into spiritual battle against the enemy of God in the strength and ferocity of the Lion of Judah, more than equal to the swiftness and subtlety of a serpent. Deuteronomy 33

May you abound with the richness of the favor of God and be filled with the blessings of the Lord, satisfied with divine grace and approval, speaking eloquent words of delightful beauty. Deuteronomy 33

Walk with Me in prayer, My child. Ask of Me and I will give you a spirit of prayer that you may abide in My presence.
Converse with Me, My love, heart to heart, spirit to spirit, letting Me answer your questions, heal your injuries, strengthen your hands, guide your feet.
Sit before Me, My precious one, and receive of Me wisdom and understanding to withstand the ways of the world, to resist the temptations and avoid the snares of the enemy, refusing the distractions that seek to muffle the voice of My Spirit and attempt to turn your eyes from My face.
Meet Me in prayers of confession and humility; I will not reject you, for I am your Redeemer, and I will complete each work in your heart as you join with Me in agreement.
Greet Me with prayers of submissive commitment and surrender – I will accept your gift, equipping and strengthening you for the assignments and tasks I have designed you for.
Welcome Me with prayers of worship, expressing your appreciation and gratitude for My unexplainable grace, unbounded mercy, and unspeakable peace which I freely give you as you linger in prayer in My presence.
Know that it is ever My pleasure and joy to receive your prayers, your conversation, your seeking questions, your thanks and praise and, as your Sacrifice, your Advocate, your Intercessor, make them acceptable to the Father Who grants your requests and meets your needs, in My Name, through My atonement, as He sovereignly sanctifies you in purity and holiness through His delightedly joyful and supernaturally abundant provision.
Through prayer, My precious one, you will find that you are transferring your treasure from the material world you have known to the spiritual realm you are inheriting, for where your heart is, is where you will find your life.

May you not regard those upon whom suffering and tragedy comes as more deserving of it than others, but understand that only by the privilege of grace have you been spared, and therefore fulfill the duty to offer mercy as a fellow-debtor who has learned of the redeeming power of God’s love, thus bearing the righteous fruit of the Spirit which satisfies spiritual hunger. May God place you in times and positions to care for His people with the skills and the experience He has given you in the world, just as He took David from the sheep pens to be a shepherd to His people, to serve and minister to them with integrity of heart and skillful hands. Psalm 78

May you be blessed by the Lord with kind words of cheer so that you may lift anxious hearts which weigh down others as you see them today. Proverbs 12:25

May you know that it is the Lord’s to avenge, and He will repay, since He has kept this in reserve and sealed it in His vaults, for in due time their foot will slip, their day of disaster is near and their doom rushes upon them. Deuteronomy 32

May you accept that the Lord will judge His people with righteousness and have compassion on His servants when He sees their strength is gone, that they may see that He Himself is the One and there is no god besides Him, for He puts to death and brings to life, He wounds and will heal, and no one can deliver out of His hand. Be certain, My child, that you will never be forsaken by Me as you hold on to that amount of My Word which you have been given by My Spirit. Small though it is, it is sufficient to withstand the trials and overcome the temptations that you face, carrying you through the tribulations that are to come upon the world.
Seek Me for more, draw closer constantly, let your eye be single and focused on Me. The deeper you go in My Spirit and the more intimately you know My heart, the greater the peace you will know during the storm.

Luke 12

May the Master find you fulfilling your charge when He returns. Luke 12

My child, walk in faithfulness before Me. See My faithfulness to you, and show that same faithfulness to the world.
I am ever faithful to My Word, keeping My promises, regardless of what it costs Me. You can walk in the hope of confidence when you stand on the Word that I give you. You can labor in the certainty that I hear you when you come before Me in prayer.
This is the discipline that I call you to be faithful in. Do not go forth in works, My child, before you have sought Me in prayer. You may as well look for water to flow from a disconnected pipe as to expect Me to bless what you do, or confirm what you say, if you have not known Me first in the respectful humility and faithful obedience of prayer.
Ask of Me, My obedient one, and I will give you a spirit of prayer, for I am faithful to My Word. I desire you to pray without ceasing, and to come before Me with singing, walking in My presence always. As you do this, you will also do the works of Him Who has sent you, and Who anoints you for service in the kingdom.

Provide purses for yourself that will not wear out, and a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Luke 12

May you seek God’s kingdom, for then He will give these other things, of food and drink, clothing and shelter, all the necessities of life in this world and this body, for your Father holds you to be more valuable than the rest of His creation, and is pleased to give you the kingdom. Luke 12

May you always keep watch on your heart, daily letting the truth of the Word of God shine its light into your motives and the pure water of the Spirit of God wash the dust of the world from your daily walk so that your heart will stay true to God, not turning away to the distractions of the world, the appetites of the flesh, or the bitter roots of the enemy’s poison. May you desire the Lord and hunger for more of Him, desperate to know Him and anxious to obey Him, for then the Lord your God will circumcise your heart so that you may love Him with all that is within you, and live in obedience, prospering in all you do and blessed in all you have, as the Lord delights in you. Deuteronomy 30

May you love the Lord your God and walk in His ways and keep His commands, decrees and laws so that you will live and increase and the Lord your God will bless you in the land of your soul you are learning to possess. What you are commanded is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach, neither up in heaven nor beyond the sea, but the word is very near you, in your very mouth and in your heart so that you may obey it. Deuteronomy 30

May you choose life rather than death, so that you may live, and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to His voice and hold fast to Him, for the Lord is your life and He will give you many years in the land He swore to give you. Deuteronomy 30

My child, I am the key to understanding the Scriptures, for I am the Living Word. I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Come unto Me.
Seek after Me. I am hidden from the world, for they are blinded by the powers of spiritual wickedness and distracted by their own lusts.
However, I am hidden for you, out of sight but within reach. Just stretch out your hands unto Me as I direct your heart, and you will find Me.
I am close, My dear one; draw near to Me, for then I will draw near to you and be found of you.

May you not neglect the weightier things of God, His justice and His love, as you practice the smaller details of your walk with Him. Luke 11

May you speak in the dark what needs to be heard in the light, and may you whisper in the inner rooms what must be proclaimed from the rooftops, for there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known, and what you practice in private will prepare you to perform in public. Luke 12

May you fear Him Who, after the killing of the body has power to throw you into hell, yet know and understand, in reverence, that the very hairs of your head are all numbered, for you are worth much to God. Luke 12

May you believe in God and trust in His deliverance, rather than willfully put God to the test by demanding the things you desire as the Israelites did in the wilderness. Though He gave them His cloudy pillar for direction and shade, the column of fire for warmth and light, pulling water from the flinty rocks of the desert and raining the bread of angels made from the grain of heaven each day, they were a stubborn and rebellious generation whose hearts were not loyal to God and whose spirits were not faithful to the Lord. Psalm 78

May you obey the Lord your God, for then you will be blessed in the city and the country, the fruit of your womb will be blessed and crops of your land and the young of your livestock, your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed, you will be blessed when you come in and when you go out. Deuteronomy 28

May you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that you receive and carefully follow them, for then the Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you, as they will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven, and you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. Deuteronomy 28

May you serve the Lord joyfully and gladly in the time of prosperity, for the Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to, and He will bless you in the land He is giving you, establish you as His holy people, as He promised on oath. Deuteronomy 28

May you keep the commands of the Lord your God and walk in His ways, for then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord and they will fear you since the Lord will grant you abundant prosperity in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground in the land He swore to give you. Deuteronomy 28

May you carefully follow all the words of the Lord and revere the glorious and awesome name of the Lord your God, walking in gratitude for His presence and thanksgiving for His blessings, giving honor to the One Who is your mainstay and exalting Him Whose majesty exceeds expression, for then you will find refuge under His wings and safety in the Rock which shelters you from the storm that will fall on all who choose to defy Him, rejecting His authority and spurning His mercy. Deuteronomy 28

I am the Light that brings life to men, My child, and I call you to be the glass, the window, the clear container that carries and projects My light.
The light is not of you, My dear one, but it is in you, for I am in you.
Be clean, and be clear through the washing of the water of My word, not stained or clouded with the things of this world.

May you hear the Word of God and obey it, for you shall be blessed. Luke 11

May you seek the Lord when you are distressed, and cry to the Lord to hear you when you need help, stretching out untiring hands through the night when your soul refuses to be comforted. When you remember the deeds of the Lord and meditate on all His works, considering all His mighty acts, you will see that His ways are holy. He is the God Who performs miracles as He displays His power among the nations and redeems His people with His mighty arm. Psalm 77

May you have the tongue of the wise to bring healing to those pierced by reckless words. Proverbs 12:18

Hebrews 10:24 Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds.

Jeremiah 29:11 ‘For I know the plans that I have for you’, declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.’

Psalm 27:13 I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

Psalm 34:17-18 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. 18 The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.

Matthew 7:24-25 Everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts upon them, may be compared to a wise man, who built his house upon the rock. 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew…and yet it did not fall…

Psalm 145:14 The Lord sustains all who fall, and raises up all who are bowed down.

May you joyfully declare the blessings of God and testify to the fulfillment of His promises, that those around you may know the Lord you serve and the God you follow, and understand His faithfulness and love to those who are called by His name and walk in His ways. Deuteronomy 26

May you remember those whose portion is the Lord and share with them what God has blessed you with. Deuteronomy 26

May you declare this day that the Lord is your God and that you will walk in His ways, that you will keep His decrees, commands and laws, and that you will obey Him, for the Lord has declared this day that you are His own, His treasured possession as He promised, and that you are to keep all His commands. He has declared that He will set you in praise, fame and honor high above all the principalities and powers He has made and that you will be holy to the Lord your God, as He promised. Deuteronomy 26

May you be reverently still before the Lord and listen as He speaks His promises both of discipline and of blessing into your heart, that you may know the ways of the Lord and walk in them, for how can two walk together except they be agreed? Deuteronomy 27, Amos 3

May you choose the one needed thing, which is both peaceful and calming, out of the many things that bring worry and upset, for that better choice will not be taken from you. Luke 10

May you know that you can approach Jesus as a friend, and when you ask, it will be given to you; when you seek, you will find, when you knock, the way will be opened. Luke 11

May the Lord of glory reveal to you just how willing He is to give the Holy Spirit to you when you ask him. Luke 11

My child, what are you willing to do for Me? How far are you willing to go for Me? As you proclaim your love for Me and your desire to be obedient to My will, you picture great feats of courage as you face enormous odds.
Listen to the voice of My Spirit, My sweet one, and hear the sound of My longing for you. I do not desire anything from you, My precious one, for I have all of creation and would create more if it were needed.
I want nothing from you; simply come into My presence without bravado or pretense, with all your shortcomings and failures, and be with Me. I have much for you, but you must sit before Me and quiet your spirit to receive it.
Wait in My presence, even though I do not speak. Remain at My feet, even as you go through your day. I will do My work in you, as long as you do nothing before Me.
Receive My songs in your heart, but stay before Me to sing them. Receive My blessings, but stay by Me to give praise to Me for them.
Yes, I am everywhere, and there is no place you can go without Me. But you must acknowledge My presence to draw close to Me. You must respond to My presence to acknowledge it.
Reach out to Me by faith with your heart. Pause your tumultuous thoughts to consider Me in the moment. Ask of Me, for then I can show you great and mighty things that you did not know, but you must believe I am present with you in order to ask.
It is hard for you to sit quietly before Me – it requires practice and training – but it is worth it, My love, for it pleases Me. I will present you, soon enough, with assignments to do once you have learned how to be.
Dwell in Me and abide with Me, as I do with you, for that is how you will come to know Me even as you are known by Me.

May God, Who is known through our praise, Whose name is great in His people, Whose presence brings peace, and Who dwells in holiness, break the flashing arrows, the shields and the swords, the weapons of war that are raised against His chosen. Psalm 76

May God, Who alone is to be feared, Who is resplendent with light and more majestic than mountains rich with game, cause valiant warriors, lying plundered, to sleep their last sleep, unable to lift their hands, for at Your rebuke, O God of Jacob, both horse and chariot lie still since none can stand before You when You are angry. Psalm 76

May God rise up to judge, to save all the afflicted of the land, for from heaven He pronounced judgment and the land feared and was quiet, since His wrath against men brings Him praise and the survivors of His wrath are restrained. Psalm 76

May you make vows to the Lord your God and fulfill them as all the neighboring lands bring gifts to the One to be feared, for He breaks the spirit of rulers and is feared by the kings of the earth. Psalm 76

May you listen to Godly advice, as all wise people do, and prudently overlook insults, unlike fools who show annoyance at once, and are satisfied with their own way, which seems right to them. Proverbs 12:15-16

April 3

1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to His abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

Isaiah 55:11 So shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Romans 15:4 For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

2 Timothy 4:8 There is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord … will award to me on that day.

Isaiah 61:3 to grant to those who mourn in Zion — to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.

Jeremiah 17:7-8 Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. 8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit.

May God turn your foes’ curses into blessings, because the Lord loves you. Deuteronomy 23

May you remember, when you are engaged in spiritual warfare, that the Lord walks among you to protect you and to cause your enemies to fall before you, so be holy just as He is holy. Deuteronomy 23

May you recall from whence you came and recall the mercies of the Lord in your life that you may show those mercies to others when the occasion comes about for they will speak praise to God for you, and God will bless you abundantly. Deuteronomy 24

May you always receive the chastening of the Lord with humility and acknowledgement of the Lord’s righteousness, for His work is ever redemptive, and never punitive. Deuteronomy 25

May you be determined to blot out the memory of the lusts and corruptions which are used by the powers of darkness to attack your soul and oppose the work of God as you grow in the Lord and come into maturity of the Spirit. Deuteronomy 25

My child, do you feel concern that the bloom has left and the beauty is gone from your life, taking the freshness you recall so well and miss so much?
That eager enthusiasm and energetic zeal is delightful, My love, but is not the end goal or the full purpose of My plan. It is sparked by the contact of My Spirit when you first turn to me. It grows and unfolds before all to see as My life flows into you. It draws attention with its fragrance and beauty from all who see and note the difference in you. It tells them of the change of the seasons from sleeping dormant winter to the spring of life and newness.
But it is natural and appropriate for the flower to fade and the fragrance to diminish and the petals to fall, My precious one, for there are greater things to come and the work has just begun. The flower of your love for Me merely marks the beginning of the work of maturity and fruit-bearing.
The blossoms are beautiful and speak clearly of the promise to be fulfilled, but the true joy comes with the appearance and development of the fruit that refreshes and strengthens those who are weary and hungry. My goal in your life is to bring forth fruit that glorifies My Father, fruit that remains.
Even though the almond flower is beautiful, it is the fruit, rough, hard-shelled, and without the color and beauty of the blossom, that bears the fulfillment of the promise that the blossom spoke so eloquently of. Do not worry if you see the blush of the blossom fade away, My love, for better is to come.

As you do the work of the Lord and minister in His kingdom, preaching the Word in authority and seeing God confirm it with signs following, may you rejoice only in the fact that you are a citizen of heaven and a child of your heavenly Father. Luke 10

May you not mistake God’s love for special privilege in outward behavior, but understand that the compassion of the Father will lead you to dress for work and dirty your hands, for it pleases the Father to see His holiness shining from His children through the smudges and stains of loving concern expressed for the poor, sick, and needy. Luke 10

May you give thanks to the Lord, for His mighty miracles give proof that He cares. His timing is exact and His judgment is upright; He holds all things together when turmoil shakes our lives. Psalm 75

May you forever declare the praise of the God of Jacob, for from Him alone comes promotion and power, and He will cut off the strength of evil men and increase the power of good men in their place. Psalm 75

May you look for ways to help others, as all good men do. Proverbs 12:12

May you be filled with good things from the fruit of your lips as surely as the work of your hands will reward you. Proverbs 12:14

April 2

John 13:14 Jesus said, “Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.”

Ephesians 4:2-3 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

Luke 18:1 Then Jesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

Ephesians 4:22-24 …lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit 23 … 24 and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

John 8:11 And Jesus said, ‘Neither do I condemn you; go your way. From now on sin no more.’

May you turn to the Lord when angry thoughts against someone come to mind, not dwelling on them or adding to them, but repudiating them, turning from them, and standing in the righteousness of Christ imputed by His sacrifice, bringing every rebellious thought captive and disciplined to the obedience of Christ. Deuteronomy 21, 2 Corinthians 10

May you bring before the Lord any principles and teachings you encounter in life that are interesting and attractive, not of sin or evil from which you have been separated by salvation, but of art and science, finance and politics, travel and sports, and take time to seek for understanding from His Spirit whether it aligns with His Word before embracing or espousing it. Deuteronomy 21

May you not ignore the small things that God shows you to do, for therein is His love manifested to your neighbor. Deuteronomy 22

May you draw ever nearer to God in your spiritual walk, that you might guard your soul against the selfish desires of the natural man’s carnal appetites, in all of the myriad forms of the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. Deuteronomy 22

Hear, O child: the Lord your God is one God, in full agreement of purpose and action between the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Can you understand this?
The Lord your God is a jealous God, yet full of compassion, Whose mercies are new every morning – even as you enjoy the comfort of this truth, are you able to comprehend it?
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God, and I, the Word, spoke creation into existence. When walking the world in flesh, I was given the testimony that “Never man spake as this man,” yet I accomplished My task, fulfilling My goal and purpose as your sacrificial ransom, by remaining silent and answering My accusers never a word of defense. As you revel in the reality of your redemption, have you pondered on this?
The world points to these things and proclaims that they have found contradictions that prove your belief to be untrue, and, truly, the carnal mind cannot connect the paradoxes. But as you walk in the Spirit, He brings you into all truth.
By faith, you can walk in confidence where mental logic cannot take you. This is how Peter, looking to Me, stepped out of the boat and walked without visible means of support on the water. Only when you look away from Me will you begin to sink and flounder, but when you look again to Me, I am always there for you.
Therefore, rejoice in Me always, pray conversantly with Me without ceasing, and give thanks for My presence in all circumstances. This is not simply a good idea, it is how you will survive the challenging assignments that are to come.
You must show My holiness in an unholy world. You must give My love to an unloving world. You must speak My truth to a deaf and denying culture. You must demonstrate My power before a blind and uncaring people. Some will believe, though many will not, but you will have delivered yourself of your responsibility and entered into My joyful fellowship.

May you walk in the compassion, grace, and mercy of Christ when faced with rejection, rather than zealously “defending” God by seeking retribution on others, as sons of thunder would. Luke 9

May you have ears to hear the voice of the Spirit that you may walk in balance and obedience, not taking upon yourself more than the Lord calls you to at any given time, and promptly following His directions in humility, without delay or digression. Luke 9

May you ask the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest field, for the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Luke 10

May the Lord remember His promises to you as He takes His revenge for the attacks of His enemy upon you, for God, the King, brings His salvation upon the earth. Psalm 74

May the Lord have regard for His covenant toward you, because haunts of violence fill the dark places of the land. Psalm 74

May the poor and needy praise the name of the Lord, and may the oppressed not retreat in disgrace, for when God rises up and defends their cause, He will not ignore the clamor of your adversaries or the uproar of your enemies. Psalm 74

April 1

Isaiah 43:1 Now, says the LORD — the One who created you, Jacob, the One who formed you, Israel: Don’t fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine.

Luke 22:42 Father, if you are willing, take this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done.

James 4:7 So be subject to God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you.

2 Corinthians 4:15–16 The more grace God gives, the more thanksgiving will redound to His glory. 16 This is the reason why we never collapse. The outward man does indeed suffer wear and tear, but every day the inward man receives fresh strength.

Acts 9:13-14 “Lord,” Ananias answered, “I have heard many reports about this man and all the harm he has done to your saints in Jerusalem. 14 And he has come here with authority from the chief priests to arrest all who call on your name.”

Psalm 145:18-19 The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. 19 He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry and will save them.

May you follow after the Lord, seeking the heavenly wisdom of the Father which is peaceable and gentle, forsaking the ways which the world follows to secure favor, obtain direction, and determine the future, for these ways lead away from the Lord your God, and are detestable to Him. Deuteronomy 18, James 3

May the Lord your God enlarge your territory, as He promised on oath to you, and give you the whole land He promised, because you carefully follow the Word of God you have received – to love the Lord your God and to walk always in His ways. Deuteronomy 19

May you always show grace and mercy abundantly to those who are in need of it, just as the Israelites were directed to establish cities of refuge for those who could find it nowhere else. Deuteronomy 19

May you not be afraid of the methods used by people of the world when they come against you with persecution and trials, for the Lord your God, Who has saved and redeemed you, will be with you, giving you words of testimony that will convict of sin, righteousness, and judgment, drawing those who will turn to His mercy in repentance. Deuteronomy 20, John 16

May you not be fainthearted or give way to panic as you go into spiritual battle against the principalities and powers which resist the will of God and stand against the word of God, seeking to influence people to act against the ways of God, for the Lord your God is the One who goes with you to fight for you and give you the victory. Deuteronomy 20

Are you willing to be the least-regarded among your acquaintances, My child? Do you find in your heart an acceptance of being relegated to the edges and the dimness by those you work with? Are you able to be content with not being heard by those you associate with regularly?
Even more, My disciple, can you gladly minister to them in love, supporting and encouraging them without acknowledgment? Are you willing to pray for them and intercede with Me on their behalf while quietly cleaning up after them and peacefully fixing what they have undone?
As a mother lovingly nurtures the children of her heart with self-sacrifice, and as a father expends himself laboring on behalf of the children of his soul to provide their needs, can you place the spiritual needs of others before your need for recognition? Can you find the joy in your time of fellowship with Me that sustains you and changes the atmosphere for others, clearing the taint of the enemy and opening the door for My Spirit to move?
There are times, My warrior, when boldness and battle are the call of the day, and great victories are won with the clash of weapons and sound of fury among the people; plunder will be taken, captives freed, acclaim will be made and awards presented.
But so often, My valiant one, the groundwork for success is laid by those I place quietly, scattered among the enemy’s holdings, who are not heard and rarely seen, but who bring the fragrance of freedom and the dawning of light into darkness. They speak of My love by their actions to those who will hear, and leave signs of My compassion to those who will see, quietly sowing seeds and patiently watering the tender growth as questions I pose burn in the hearts of those I draw until it bears a harvest of souls for Me.
Endure hardship with patience, My devoted one, whether of battle or of service, as a loyal soldier and humble servant of the Father. The harvest will soon be over and the celebration feast will be held.

May you ever choose to honor and listen to the anointed Son of God Who is beloved of the Father, over any other sources, however prominent. Luke 9

May you be willing, in the sight of the world, to be considered as no better than a child, innocent in intent, ignorant of evil, not practiced in guile, trusting all and willing to help any. Luke 9

May you accept and encourage all who labor with you in the harvest fields of the Lord, for whoever is not against you is for you. Luke 9

May there be nothing on earth you desire as much as God, for though your flesh and your heart may fail, God is your strength and your portion forever. Psalm 73

March 31

James 1:12 KJV Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love Him.

Colossians 4:2 NIV Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

Proverbs 3:31-32 NIV Do not envy a violent man or choose any of his ways, 32 for the LORD detests a perverse man but takes the upright into His confidence.

John 7:38 NASB He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water.’

Matthew 16:24 KJV If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me.

Luke 19:10 NASB For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.

May the Lord your God bless you in all your harvest, and in all the work of your hands, so that your joy will be complete. Deuteronomy 16

May you bring before the Lord your freely-given gift of glad praise and joyous worship, according to the abundance of the Lord’s blessings upon you, remembering those around you through humble service to them, that they may have praise to offer to God, as well. Deuteronomy 16

May you recognize the bribes which come from the world, appealing to the lusts of the flesh, the lusts of the eyes, and the pride of life, and refuse to accept any form or fashion of what is offered, for thereby are the eyes of wisdom blinded and the words of righteousness twisted, causing justice to be perverted when partiality is shown. Deuteronomy 16

May you ever honor God as the highest authority, and honor those whom He brings you as teachers and mentors; when you are assigned by God to pour yourself into the lives of others, may you carefully guard yourself from and avoid each thing that would distract you from God and the duties you receive, focusing gladly on His Word, walking joyfully in His Spirit, and serving humbly before His Body. Deuteronomy 17

Seek Me, My child, as for a vital, precious item which you cannot imagine living a day in your life without. Look for Me, My love, as though for that which will safeguard you through the dangers of a battlefield. Pursue Me, My precious one, as if all the riches and treasure required to provide you and those you love a secure and comfortable life was waiting for your arrival.
Search for Me, My worth-while one, as if acknowledging your lack and poverty, your need and desire, your shortfall and requirement, for those who are hungry shall be filled, and those who are thirsty may buy and drink without cost; those who are persecuted shall receive justice and those who have no hope shall be placed in a family and provided a defender and encourager.
If you are rich with this world’s goods and feel no lack, I have nothing I can give you. If you are secure in this world’s society and feel no pain, I have nothing to offer you. If you are strong in this world’s authority and know no fear, I can only promise you destruction.
Only if you know you are sick will you accept what the Physician offers – otherwise His cure will be distasteful. Acknowledge your need and My Father will supply all you require according to His unfathomable riches.
As you seek, first, the kingdom of God in the midst of your poverty of spirit, and His righteousness in the weakness of your flesh, you will find that all which you need will be added to you. If My Father was willing to deliver Me, His Beloved, over for your needs, how will He not also, through Me, freely give you all things?
Do not boast of who you are or what you have, My poor one, but glory in your weakness which brings My strength into your life. Boast of your poverty which brings My treasure into the world through you. Rejoice in your solitary loneliness, My orphaned one, for you are brought before the King of kings and made His ward, even more, His adopted child and given the love that was for so long denied you.
Seek Me, My love, as though you needed Me, for surely you will find Me.

May you give to all whom the Lord brings you food to satisfy their spiritual hunger, for as you look up to heaven and give thanks to the Father, He will multiply what is broken, so yield to the dealings of the Spirit in your heart. Luke 9

May you deny yourself and take up your cross daily and follow the Lord, losing your life for Him, for He will save it. Luke 9

May the Lord deliver the needy who cry out and the afflicted who have no one to help, taking pity on the weak and the needy, and save the needy from death, rescuing them from oppression and violence, for precious is their blood in His sight. Psalm 72
