May you be willing to discount promises of peace achieved without struggle, prosperity gained without effort, power increased without striving, and turn instead to the Lord, acknowledging your guilt and the iniquity of society, confessing with repentance the sins committed against God, for He is just and gracious to forgive because of His covenant with you, willing to receive you for the sake of His name, and accept you for the honor of His glorious throne. May you serve the Lord and utter worthy words as His spokesman once He restores you through repentance and humility, so that others may turn to Him, following your example, even as you stand firm on the strength of God’s truth in the face of those who resist God’s will, for though they will fight against you, they will not overcome you since He is with you to rescue you and save you from the hands of the wicked and redeem you from the grasp of the cruel. My child, there is much for you to do, but it does not include the work which is Mine alone. You cannot save yourself, for only My sacrifice is sufficient for that. You must accept My gift by the choice of your free will, for I will not force it on you.
You cannot perform the work of My Holy Spirit in your life, or anyone else’s, for your personal righteousness is as filthy rags, tainting and staining what you touch. I will not give you, fully-formed, the character and the fruit of the life of the spirit. That grows and develops in you as you walk, step by step, through the events and circumstances of your life, remaining connected to the true Vine, enduring and submitting to the pruning of the Husbandman of the vineyard.
You are dead in your trespasses, My earthly one; nevertheless, because I am the resurrection and the life, if you believe on Me, you shall never die. Because I am the bread of life, if you eat this bread, you shall never hunger. Because I am the light of the world, if you follow Me, you shall not walk in darkness.
Remove yourself from the chief seat of the feast, My child. You are cherished, you are precious in My sight, but you are not qualified to sit in My seat. Make much of Me, My lovely one, in the presence of others, and I will honor you in the sight of men.

Proverbs 25:1-2
