April 23

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, [God] is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Romans 14:11 It is written: “‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before Me; every tongue will acknowledge God.’”

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Always be joyful. 17 Never stop praying. 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

John 14:21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves Me; and he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I will love him, and will disclose Myself to him.

May you resist the influences and principalities which inhabit the land God has directed you to cleanse and make ready for His kingdom, the fertile and abundant territory of your thoughts and emotions where God’s creativity can abide, and make no agreement with those corrupting powers, refusing to allow them to serve you in any way, lest you end up serving them as they become thorns in your side and a snare to your heart. Judges 2

May you have the eyes to see and the understanding to realize, when you notice these things happening, that the kingdom of God is near, for heaven and earth will pass away, but the Word of God will never pass away. Luke 21

May you take heed to yourself, and constantly be on your guard, aware lest at any time your heart grow cold because it is weighed down and dulled from self-indulgence, excess, and the cares and worries of your life in this world, but always be on watch, alert, and pray constantly that you may be found worthy to receive the strength to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able, in that day, to stand before the Son of Man. Luke 21

May the Lord be your dwelling place throughout all the years of your life, for before the mountains were born or the world was brought forth, from everlasting to everlasting, He is God, to Whom a thousand years are like a day just gone by. Psalm 90

May you learn from the Lord how to number your days aright, so that you may gain a heart of wisdom, for who knows the power of His anger since His wrath is as great as the fear that is due Him. Psalm 90

May you sing for joy and be glad all your days when the Lord has compassion on His servants and satisfies you in the morning with His unfailing love, making you glad for as many days as you have been afflicted, for as many years as you have seen trouble, so that His deeds and splendor may be shown to His servants. Psalm 90

May the favor of the Lord your God rest upon you to establish the work of your hands. Psalm 90

Turn to Me, My child, only to Me, that your testimony may be pure.
I am not a concept or a vague, impersonal power – I am your loving Creator, resurrected Savior, living Redeemer, and soon-returning King. You must know Me personally to introduce Me, by your witness and testimony, to those who are seeking Me.
Know Me, not as a tradition or as someone else’s benefactor, but personally, individually. Bring Me your needs and receive My abundance. Share your burdens and let Me lighten your load. Pour out your sorrows and know My joy. Confess your sins and receive My forgiveness and acceptance. See My wounds, and receive your healing. View My death, and partake in My life.
If you are not changed by My Presence, if you are not convicted by My holiness, if you are not humbled by My majesty, if your world is not turned upside down by My revelation, then it is not Me that you are learning of.
Learn truth and wisdom of Me as you study My Word and let it renew your mind. Come into My presence through worshipful praise, and let your times of prayer draw My Spirit to you as He helps you pray those things on My heart for which you have no words. Walk with Me through the marketplace and the byways as I pursue those whose hearts are Mine, those who feel the drawing of My love but are held captive by the enemy of their souls, those of My sheep who have lost their way back or been injured.
Let your voice speak My words of life to them and proclaim liberty and victory over them. Let your hands and feet find practical expression of My love for them in ways that bring solace to their souls and healing to their hearts.
Philosophy reaches the minds of the hearers, but cannot touch their hearts; religion can reach the soul but does not change the spirit. I am the way, the truth and the life, and it is through Me, the Door to the kingdom, that all must enter who come to the Father.
Abide in Me in humility and obedience so that I may abide in you in truth and in power, and the will of the Father be done in earth as it is in heaven.

May you dwell in the shelter of the Most High and rest in the shadow of the Almighty, saying of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” He will save you from the fowler’s snare and the deadly pestilence, covering you with His feathers so that you will find refuge under His wings and be shielded and protected by His faithfulness. Psalm 91

May you not fear the terror of night nor the arrow flying by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday, for though a thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, it will not come near you, and you will only observe it with your eyes as you see the punishment of the wicked. Psalm 91

May you make the Most High your dwelling, even the Lord, Who is your refuge, for then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your dwelling. He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways, and they will lift you up in their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone, even though you will trample the great lion and the serpent. Psalm 91

May you love the Lord, for then He will rescue you and protect you because you acknowledge His name, calling upon Him for He will answer and be with you in trouble, delivering you and honoring you, satisfying you with long life and showing you His salvation. Psalm 91

May you accept the love of the Father as it is demonstrated in His discipline, for those to whom He spares the rod are those whom He hates. Proverbs 13:24

May you dine at the Lord’s table and be refreshed to your heart’s content, as the righteous do, and never be hungry for lack of the Living Bread as the wicked are. Proverbs 13:25

Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice.

Psalm 25:6-7 Remember, Lord, Your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. 7 Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to Your love remember me, for You, Lord, are good.

Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Psalm 130:5 I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits, and in His Word I put my hope.

Matthew 25:40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these My brothers, you did it to Me.’

Psalm 4:5 Do what is right as a sacrifice to the Lord and trust the Lord.

May you walk in humble acceptance of the circumstances God places you in, trusting His plan and provision, knowing His care and concern for others is leading you to where He wants you, whether in plenty or in need, for He has entrusted the treasure of His glory to you, and He will always be your single Source for all the resources you require. Ruth 2

May you ever ask when in need, and gratefully receive as a favor whatever you are given, however small, making no demand as though entitled, and remaining actively occupied in whatever labor your hands find to do. Ruth 2

May you trust God to order your circumstances, even in small events that seem unimportant, but from which you find that He has ordered His blessings, rich and beyond counting, to His glory and to your good. Ruth 2

May you be richly rewarded by the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge. Ruth 2

May you continue to find favor in the eyes of the Lord, Who has given you comfort and spoken kindly to you, drawing you by His love, even while you were separated from Him by sin. Ruth 2

May you understand, in ever greater depth, the love God has for you and the value He places in you, regarding you as His treasure. Know that He holds you as a precious, unique individual for whom He places the resources of heaven to care for you and watch over you. Then you will be able to know His love for others around you, and respond to them from His heart, even as He has to you. Ruth 2

May you feast to your fill at the Lord’s table, and share with those close to you from the abundance that is served. Ruth 2

May you take care to secure that which you have gained through your labor in the field of the Lord, not losing those things in which He has blessed you by being found in another’s field. Remain dutiful in the assignments He has entrusted to you, that your humility and industry may end in preferment. Ruth 3

May you have the strength to wait, in trust, having done all that is given you to do, for the Lord your God to accomplish perfectly that which is His right, His duty, and His joy to complete. Ruth 3

May you have the eyes to see, and the wisdom to understand, the value and honor of that which the Lord offers. Those whose desire is on their treasure and reputation in the world, and the eyes of men, will not value or pursue the gift of God which brings salvation. Ruth 4

   My child, have faith.
Not just in the future, believing that I will, someday, do what I have promised, but have “now” faith, faith in Me today, right now, for the things I am doing at the moment. In this way you may participate and be involved in My work and My blessings and My fellowship.
Let Me be your present delight and your current desire so that I can transform you into one whose heart wishes I can grant, since they are from Me.
Look for My purpose in the disappointments you find and seek My presence in the trials you encounter for that which draws you nearer to Me and lifts you closer to Me is a cherished treasure and a priceless gift. This is how you can love your enemies and rejoice in persecution, for without them you would not secure the fulfillment of your desire to know Me deeper and truer.
Though I will, indeed, be there with you and for you in the future, do not close yourself off and wait for that time to arrive – open your heart to what I am doing now. Let My love overcome your fear, and My acceptance outweigh the rejection of others.
Do not judge the worthiness of those I use or the methods I express Myself through, for am I not using you? It is not enough to do work for Me, My willing laborer, for the disciples went out as I sent them and saw miracles happen at their say-so. Their faith was still shattered after the Cross.
You must dwell in Me, so that I can abide in you. Then you will do My works, the works of the Lord rather than for the Lord, and you will find that faith is as natural as breathing.

May you not let pride of position prevent your petition to Jesus, and may you accept His word in faith and act in belief so that many may see and know the power and truth of God’s Word. John 4

May you walk in faith, trusting God’s Word, for though you feel the weakness and insufficiency of your belief, your actions show your sincerity, and good news will meet your hope when it is resting in the truth of Christ Jesus. John 4

May you count your afflictions as mercies from the Lord, as they confirm your love, strengthen your faith, destroy your pride, enliven your prayers and draw you from the world, even as Joseph was prepared for the palace by his detention in the dungeon. Psalm 105

May the Lord make you very fruitful, too numerous for your foes, though their hearts turn to hate and conspire against you as you serve Him. Psalm 105

May you walk in reverential awe and respectful obedience before the Lord, for in Him you have a secure fortress and the confidence of strength, because His children all have a refuge of rock-solid security wherein He is their protector and their hope. Proverbs 14:26

May you fear the Lord, for it brings a fountain of life that offers you escape from the snares of death. Proverbs 14:27

April 22

Psalm 24:1 The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Ephesians 4:22-23 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds…

Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

Hebrews 6:18 so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us.

May you fear the Lord and serve Him with all faithfulness, throwing away those “powers” which are not, to which you had previously yielded your heart, for it is the Lord your God Who has brought you out of spiritual darkness and bondage, carrying you and sustaining you in ways you have seen with your own eyes, giving you victories over your carnal nature, the world’s system, and the principalities that stand against God Himself, His will, and His beloved ones, for it is God’s good pleasure to give you gifts you do not deserve and blessings you have not earned, that He would receive praise from you for His love, and glory from the people around you for His great power and faithfulness to His word and His promises toward you. Joshua 24

May you be willing to give from your need, when God directs, rather than just from your plenty, as you do. Luke 21

May you not be influenced by signs in the earth or claims of others or persecution by many, but be prepared to give witness to the Lord before authorities and leaders in the opportunities this will provide. Know that the words and wisdom that God will give you will be more than your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict. Though you will be hated, not a hair will perish and by standing firm and remaining faithful to the Lord, you will gain life. Luke 21

May you stand up and lift your head when you see signs in the sun, moon and stars, men fainting from terror of the present and apprehension for the future, and nations in anguish and perplexity. Though they are shaken and fearful, you are confident because your redemption is drawing near. Luke 21

Be strong, My child, be brave. Do not fear the terror by night, for I am with you to shield and defend you.
Finish the work before you, for I am with you to help and strengthen you. The work I give you is hard, but real, My love. It is not a formula to follow or a process to blindly repeat.
The work I set before you is unlike any you have done before, and it has great bearing on lives and hearts that I hold dear. Do not treat it as routine or expect it to be done on a schedule.
Be awake, My worker. Be alert to hear My voice guiding you, for you have not come this way for this purpose before.
Seek Me for the Life that will make My Word relevant, and for the anointing that will bring down the stronghold that resists your efforts. Pray My Word as never before; quote My promises back to Me in faith, knowing that I will remain faithful to what I have spoken.
In doing this, I extend My favor and power to move the mountains that the enemy has erected. You will be making straight the way of the Lord for all to follow that I am drawing to Myself. You will draw down My blessings richly on your children and your family.

May you praise the Lord forever for His great love which He has sworn in His faithfulness to give you, for He remembers how you have been mocked, and has heard the taunts with which your enemies have reproached your every step. Psalm 89

May the Lord accept and embrace you with His love, affirming His covenant to give of His authority to you, establishing and reinforcing His defenses around you. Your neighbors will exalt the Lord for His faithfulness and your foes will know the fear of the Lord as their weapons are broken in their hands. Psalm 89

May you walk with the people who have God’s wisdom so that you may grow wise also, rather than suffer the harm that a companion of fools will find. Proverbs 13:20

May you receive the blessings which reward the righteous, and avoid the misfortune which pursues the sinner. Proverbs 13:21

April 21

Matthew 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

Psalm 16:11 You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

1 Peter 1:3-4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for You.

John 10:28-30 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.

Ephesians 3:20-21 Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, 21 to Him be glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

May you ever be prepared to answer with humility and sincerity any questions about your choices and your dedication to God in a spirit of peace. Joshua 22

May you be very strong and most careful to obey all that God directs you to do in days to come, without turning aside to the right or to the left. You have seen all that the Lord your God has done in times past to the powers which have resisted God’s will in your life, and how the Lord fought for you as you walked forward in confident obedience to take your allotted inheritance. He will push the enemy out before you, breaking their influence on those around you. You will take possession of your own nature – in your heart and in your mind – as the Lord your God has promised, while you reject and withstand those powers you once served, and hold fast to the Lord your God. Joshua 23

May you be certain to not associate or ally yourself with the stray impulses that remain in your heart and your mind after you are given the victory over a habit or influence that controlled you, or entertain the thoughts that lead into the snare again, for you may be sure that the Lord your God will then no longer drive out those powers from before you, but give you over to their hand. Joshua 23

May you be very careful to love the Lord your God above all else you hold dear, for the Lord has defeated all your enemies, from the least to the greatest, and no principality will be able to withstand you, therefore you will rout a thousand because the Lord your God fights for you, just as He promised. Joshua 23

May you know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the Lord your God has given you has failed, but every promise has been fulfilled. Joshua 23

Do you feel yourself small and alone, My child? Do you question how you can accomplish anything for My kingdom with your few and weak resources? Do you feel separated and isolated from the great works and monuments of religion?
Do not despair, My little one, but be strong and faithful as My disciple, continuing in the discipline I am teaching you, enduring in the path I set before you, standing firm in the truth I have shown you. Do not shrink back but persist as My true follower who holds fast to what you have of Me, and from Me, so that you will not suffer loss in My appearing.
I will make a little one to become a thousand, and the smallest a mighty nation. It will not require majestic architecture or awe-inspiring music or solemn ritual or other elements that touch the soul, for these inspire pride, which engenders rivalry and division.
It needs simply you, closeted with Me, knowing that I, your Redeemer, live. It needs only you allowing your heart to seek Me, to know Me in My fullness, to receive all I have for you, to find My heart of service.
Though it appears as drudgery, though it takes you where no one observes you, though it is unexceptional in the eyes of those with status in the world, humble yourself to express it to those I bring you to.
I am giving you the calm strength of faith to be exceptional in the ordinary things, to be holy in mean streets, to live an ordinary, unobserved, ignored existence as My disciple.
As you empty yourself, I will fill you, men will see My glory, and you will be a good and faithful servant, effective in My kingdom.

May you be counted worthy of taking part in the resurrection from the dead and the age to come where you can no longer die since you are a child of God. Luke 20

May you not be like those who enjoy the outward appearance of righteousness, and love the recognition of others, striving for the places of social prestige and public honor, yet acting without mercy toward those without power, and finding no grace to extend to others who do the same as themselves, for such people will be punished most severely. Luke 20

May you disregard the opportunities for an outward show of righteousness to gain the recognition of others, and disdain the options to strive for places of social prestige and public honor. May you, rather, focus instead on searching for those who need mercy and have no power to repay, giving grace to those who struggle in battle as you do, for this reflects the love of the Father as His son. Luke 20

May you learn to acclaim the Lord and walk in the light of His presence, for righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne and love, with faithfulness, go before Him. Psalm 89

May you rejoice in the name of the Lord all day long and exult in His righteousness for His is your glory and strength, and by His favor you are made strong – indeed, your shield belongs to the Lord, the Holy One of Israel. Psalm 89

May you call out to the Lord, “You are my Father, my God, the Rock my Savior,” for He has bestowed strength of a warrior on you and anointed you with His Spirit, sustaining you with His hand, strengthening you with His arm, allowing no enemy to subject you to tribute nor any wicked one to oppress you, crushing your foes before you and striking down your adversaries. Psalm 89

April 20

John 20:1 While it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the tomb.

1 Corinthians 15:55 Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?

Psalm 51:12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

Ephesians 3:9 and to bring to light what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God who created all things;

2 Corinthians 4:18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in Me will never die. Do you believe this?”

May the Lord give you all the territory He has promised you, as you move out in faithful obedience to His guidance and direction, to occupy and overcome by His strength and strategy, that you may have rest on every side, just as He has said, for not one of your spiritual enemies can withstand you when the Lord hands them over to you, because not one of all of the Lord’s promises will fail, but will all be fulfilled. Joshua 22

May you be very careful to keep the commands and the ways of the Lord that you have been given: to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, to obey His commands, to hold fast to Him and to serve Him with all your heart and all your soul. Joshua 22

May you understand that, though sin is immediately forgiven when repented of, others are affected and the lingering results must be walked out. Joshua 22

Remain alert, My child, and watch with the alertness of a sentry who knows the enemy is close. Watch with the confidence of one who knows the wiles and tricks of the enemy, and has been trained and equipped to recognize the attack and defeat it.
Watch with the assurance that others are near and will come to your aid if numbers are overwhelming and you need to raise the alarm. But watch also your heart, My brave one, lest whispers from the dark distract you and turn your attention elsewhere, leaving a gap in the hedge of protection around the camp.
Walk in the steadfast truth of My Word and the vigorous life of My Spirit, My vigilant one, ever practicing My Presence and acknowledging Me in prayerful conversation.
Keep My armor in place with sword and shield at the ready, for the lusts of the carnal heart wage war against your soul just as the wickedness of spiritual darkness seeks to devour you in the spirit.
Do not lose faith, My dear one, but know that I faced every attack that the enemy has when I walked the earth, and I defeated the foe thoroughly; therefore, when temptation comes, I can show you the weakness, the lie in what he says, the opening for the Sword of the Word to overcome and defeat the destruction the evil one wishes to cause in your life and the lives of those I have brought to you to love.
I have come to save My people from their sins, be they past habits, present weaknesses, things constantly seen and heard, or secret, sudden and surprising temptations. Let not your heart be troubled, for I have overcome the world and conquered death, hell, and the grave.
Walk alertly, My warrior, that you may walk in My victory as one who has overcome.

May you honestly answer the questions the Lord asks of you, for then you will know the answers to the questions you have for Him. Luke 20

May you recognize and respect the servants of your King so that you may receive with grace and honor the Son Whom the Father loves. Luke 20

May you accept in humility the authority of the Lord as the capstone, allowing your pride to be broken on Him, and rely in weakness on the support of the Lord as the keystone, allowing your self-sufficiency to be ground to a powder. Luke 20

May you sing of the Lord’s great love forever and make known His faithfulness to all generations, for His love stands firm forever and His faithfulness is established in heaven itself. Psalm 89

May you declare the Lord’s wonders in the immensity of the heavens and His faithfulness among the multitudes of His saints, for He is greatly feared in the council of the holy ones and is more awesome than all who are found around Him, the mighty One, Whose faithfulness surrounds Him. Psalm 89

May you gain the grace and compassion which comes from a good understanding of the deep things of God, for a person with good sense is respected and one with keen insight wins favor, but the harsh conduct of the unfaithful never changes and the treacherous lifestyle of the scorner leads to ruin in the pit of destruction. Proverbs 13:15

April 19

1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to His abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

1 Corinthians 15:54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

1 Corinthians 15:20-22 Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. 22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.

Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Psalm 42:2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?

John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

May you dwell open-handedly with your brethren, content with your needs met, and gracious with your abundance, even as the tribe of Judah gave of their territory to Simeon when the lot fell to them, for love seeks not her own, nor behaves unseemly. Joshua 19, 1 Corinthians 13

May you be willing to labor for the good of others, doing service for your brethren, preferring others’ good and the common welfare before any private advantage, trusting that in His wisdom the Lord has kept that which is best suited for you and most delightful to you. Joshua 19

May you find your refuge in Christ, Who welcomes you with abundant grace and lavish mercy, granting the forgiveness of sin through the washing of His blood to all who turn from and repent of their deeds. Joshua 20

May you be prepared to offer grace and mercy to those who need it, and not join the “avengers of blood” who seek their own “justice.” Joshua 20

My love for you is without measure, My child, and that is why my chastening for you is measured.
To leave you alone, unchecked, untrained, unlearned, unrestricted, would be the worst type of uncaring abuse imaginable. Your fleshly appetites, your sinful nature, would bring you straight to death’s door, for it has inherited Adam’s curse of a sinful death.
I have brought you into a new life, given from above, which cannot be taken from you. So also I give you the training and preparation for that which you have never known – a life of liberty, full of freedom, loosed from chains that bound you. This new life you have received from Me carries with it the need to be responsible for your own actions before you can receive the authority waiting for you.
You must learn how a child of the Almighty acts. You must learn respect and love for the Father God, because your father, the devil, taught you only fear and hate.
My love for you is the Father’s love, and when the veil in the temple was rent and the way was opened to the mercy seat in the temple, it was to demonstrate what truly had happened when My flesh was rent. My blood was sufficient to not merely cover your sin, but to cleanse it. Is there any greater demonstration possible of My measureless love for you?
By this, you know that the lovingly measured discipline that trains and equips you for the glorious future in eternity is not a drop more than required, not an iota more than love, is never motivated by anger, is ever patient and attentive and never out of frustration, for you are precious to Me.
A jeweler who chips away parts of a diamond is joyfully bringing out the beauty that lies within so that the light can be seen clearly. A blacksmith who shapes metal with both fire and hammer purifies it from the brittle slag that would weaken the utensil, then sharpens it into usefulness with file and grindstone. He never does this to waste his time and effort trying to torment the metal. Instead, his goal is to purposefully bring to view the shapely beauty of a balanced tool that is flexible under pressure and strong in use, a joy to the hand and a pleasure to the eye.
Understand My love for you, My precious one, and do not doubt that My love follows you, surrounding you and leading you. Know, My dear one, that nothing touches you but what I have allowed in love. Turn always to Me, My dear one, and know My love through My blood and My suffering.

May you be ready, when the Lord says, “I have need of that,” to release what He has given you into the service of the Lord. Luke 19

May you accept the work of the Lord in your heart as He cleanses His temple, driving out the influences which rob, steal, and destroy, so that you can be a vessel of honor, and the place He dwells can be a house of prayer. Luke 19

May your prayer come before the Lord, the God Who saves you, and may He turn His ear to your cry both day and night. Psalm 88

When your heart is sick from hope deferred, may the Lord, Who is the tree of life, fulfill your longing. Proverbs 13:12

May you respect the Lord’s commands, for He will reward you. Proverbs 13:13

May you receive the teaching of the wise, which turns a man from the snares of death, for it is a fountain of life. Proverbs 13:14

April 18

1 Corinthians 15:51-53 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed — 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.

Romans 10:9-10 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord your God . . . will take great delight in you; in His love He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.

Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.

Mark 16:16 Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned.

May you know that, in the Lord, you are one of many and, together, very powerful and abundantly blessed so that, when you have grown enough to need expansion, you will find that, through God’s Word and in God’s strength, you are well able to possess the promises He has given. Joshua 17

May you be confident of God’s strength and strategy in your life when you are facing spiritual battles which seem too great to win, for He guides you one step at a time. Joshua 17

May you not be satisfied with the ease of a rich land after living in the dry desert for so long, lest you begin dreading the prospect of spiritual battle; for it is not yourselves that you battle for, but those you will shepherd who will need you to have the word of truth and to know the God of promise, so that you will be practiced in ministry, pointing them to the Lord, even as you have been pointed. Joshua 18

My child, do not seek to be separate from the world, but to be devoted and attached to Me.
As you learn of Me through My Word and by My Spirit, your heart will draw closer to Me out of hunger for the true Bread of Life and thirst for the true Water of Life, leaving behind, without struggle, the substitutes which the world supplied.
Come, My beloved, eat and drink without cost, for I have willingly paid the price for your admittance. Come, and find rest for your soul.

May you remember that wealth and influence alone will still leave a person hungry spiritually, and that God will give you the words of life for those willing and determined to seek them out, and their acceptance will bring fruits of repentance. Luke 19

May you seek for and accept direction and wisdom from the Holy Spirit about how best to invest the abundant gifts our King has given us until His return, so that we may give Him the increase for His kingdom. Luke 19

May you take joy and gladness in your new life as one who is born in the kingdom of God and has become a citizen of the city of God, for that is where He takes His delight. Psalm 87

May the time and effort you put into the work of the kingdom return multiplied blessings and spiritual riches, just as wealth from hard work will grow. Proverbs 13:11

Deuteronomy 6:6-7 Keep these words that I am commanding you today in your heart. 7 Recite them to your children and talk about them when you are at home and when you are away, when you lie down and when you rise.

1 Corinthians 1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Psalm 122:1 I rejoiced with those who said to me, “Let us go to the house of YHWH.”

Luke 10:20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven.

May you not be reluctant to ask the Lord for your needs, for He already knows what you need, and has it ready for you, for it is His good pleasure to give to you; as you ask Him for it, He receives the joy of your trust, and your faith is strengthened when you receive it. Joshua 15

May the things of this world not stand in your way of obeying God and entering into the kingdom of God. Luke 18

May your desire to see the Son of God drive you past the limits set upon you by others, for through perseverance and insistence, your faith and endurance will be rewarded by God Himself, to your joy and satisfaction as well as His praise and glory. Luke 18

My child, I have chosen you and made you to be holy before Me, that you may live a new life before others.
Because I have chosen you while you were still My enemy, you can be merciful to others, as I have been merciful to you.
Because I have shown you My love by dying for you before you loved Me, you can be humble towards others, for I chose you after the world discarded you.
Because I have shown you kindness by making you one of My holy people, you can show kindness to those who have been rejected and condemned.
Because I have received you with gentleness towards your wounds rather than harshness toward your failings, you can be gentle with those who have not known gentle treatment.
Because I am endlessly patient with you, My love, express that same patience to those around you, for this is how others will see My life lived out on earth.

May the Lord hear and answer you when you call from your need and poverty. Psalm 86

May you be devoted to God, for He will guard your life. Psalm 86

May you trust in your Master Who can save you. Psalm 86

May the Lord have mercy on you as you call to Him all day long. Psalm 86

May you lift your soul to the Lord Who brings joy to His servants. Psalm 86

May the Lord hear your prayer as you cry for mercy in the day of trouble, for He is forgiving and good, abounding in love. Psalm 86

May you walk in the way of truth that the Lord teaches you, giving you an undivided heart so that you may fear His name and praise the Lord your God with all your heart, glorifying His name forever, for the love by which He delivered you from the grave is great. Psalm 86

Though the arrogant ruthless band of men attack you, seeking your life without regard for God, the Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, and will turn to you with mercy and save you, the son of His maidservant, by granting His strength as a sign of His goodness so that your enemies will be shamed when the Lord helps and comforts you. Psalm 86

May your light shine brightly as does the light of the righteous, never to be snuffed out as will the lamp of the wicked. Proverbs 13:9

May you be willing to take advice as do those in whom wisdom is found, eschewing pride which only breeds quarrels. Proverbs 13:10

April 16

Isaiah 25:1 O LORD, I will honor and praise Your name, for You are my God. You do such wonderful things! You planned them long ago, and now You have accomplished them.

Mark 7:8 For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men—the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Galatians 5:14-15 The entire law is summed up in a single command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.

2 Corinthians 4:18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Colossians 3:15 Each one of you is part of the body of Christ, and you were chosen to live together in peace. So let the peace that comes from Christ control your thoughts. And be grateful.

May you be blessed as the tribe of Levi was, to be given no inheritance in this world, but to have, instead, the Lord, God Almighty, the Father in heaven, as your inheritance. Joshua 13

May you follow the Lord your God wholeheartedly, for then the Lord will give you the land of your heart that you travel through and explore as your inheritance and the place where God will place His name and establish His kingdom. Joshua 14

May you always pray and never give up, for as an earthly judge who receives petitions from those seeking justice can be worn down by continued imploring, your heavenly Father, Who desires to grant you the wishes of your heart, will not be reticent to meet your need and provide you justice, and quickly. Luke 18

May you be justified and forgiven as you sorrow for your sins and the sins of those around, recognizing the holiness of God in reverential awe and fearful trepidation, and realizing your inability to meet His requirements of righteousness and integrity, understanding and accepting that only what His Son, Jesus, has done and offers to you freely, will prevent you from being consumed, and gratefully receiving the gift made available out of love, seek to serve the Master you have chosen. Luke 18

May you approach God as a little child, in trust and frank acceptance of His Word, unquestioning and without reservation, loving in response to His love, that you will not be hindered from coming to Him, and receiving His kingdom. Luke 18

My child, know Me alone. Come to Me only, and draw near to Me by yourself. Understand that My relationship is with you only.
I place you in My body where I will, and you are to be joined together with others of like faith in Me, but you must know Me in solitude, personally, away from the crowd.
You must ascend My mountain on your own, through the clouds and thick darkness, picking out the path to follow as I show it to you, not following the flags placed by others. Those who only know of Me through the words of other men are not Mine. Those who follow My Word, as heard from others, are following traditions, not obeying My Spirit.
You must draw near to the foot of the cross alone and see with your own eyes My blood, dripping from My head, My back, My hands, My side, My feet, and accept that it was your debt which extracted this payment, for only then can you be released from your burden, freed from the enslaving obligation of an impossible repayment program.
Only then will you be able to receive the life that is in My blood for you, and start walking in the joy of the newness of life at My side.
Only then will you be able to talk with Me heart to heart as to a friend that sticks closer than a brother, content to be in My presence as you learn to know Me even as you are known.
Only then, will you be free to allow your life to be hid in Me and be one with Me, where no authority or power can take you from Me, for the Father has placed Me over all other powers and authorities.
Therefore, as you come to Me, I can send you out to the work of the harvest field, among the despair and distress of those ready to be harvested, for the ripest grains of wheat are found on dry and dying stalks.
Those who know of Me often hide in the work they are “called to.” See the priest cross the road to avoid the wounded man who would make him unclean for his “work”? See the Levite avoid the injured man because he would be late for his “duties”?
See the Samaritan who knows what it is to be alone, outcast, isolated, rejected? He can feel fellowship and kinship, sympathy and compassion for the man in his need.
Walk with Me, My love, and feel My heart for each of My wounded.

May the Lord show favor to you and restore your fortune, forgiving your iniquity and covering your sin as He sets aside all His wrath and turns from His fierce anger, putting away His displeasure in order to restore you and revive you that you may rejoice in Him when He shows you His unfailing love and grants you His salvation. Psalm 85

May you listen to what God the Lord says, for He promises peace to you if you do not return to your folly because His salvation is near to those who fear Him so that His glory may dwell in the land. Psalm 85

May the Lord indeed give you what brings life, for Love and Faithfulness have met together, as Righteousness and Peace kiss each other, allowing Faithfulness to spring forth from the earth, and causing Righteousness to look down from heaven as it goes before the Lord and prepares the way for His steps. Psalm 85

May you see how poor in spirit you are, having no righteousness or good works of your own strength which are worthy of praise, so that you may turn to, and depend on, the riches of the eternal righteousness of Christ, through the grace of God, that His riches may ransom your life. Proverbs 13:8

April 15

Isaiah 25:8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of His people shall He take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.

Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.

Romans 13:7 Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

1 Timothy 4:15-16 Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress. 16 Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.

2 Corinthians 12:9 Paul wrote, “Gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

May you not be afraid when the enemies of God join forces against you, gathering great numbers to fight against you, for the Lord Himself will hand all of them over to you to be defeated by you and for you to pursue until no survivors remain. Joshua 11

May the gift of fresh mercies and the present glory of God’s new revelations not diminish the praise for the early battles won or dim the memories of the first enemies overcome, for God is the same Who caused both to be yours. Joshua 12

May you remember to return to the feet of Jesus with praise and thanksgiving after you have obeyed His directions and received the blessing and victory you requested of Him. Luke 17

May you understand and realize that the kingdom of God is not ushered in with visible signs which can be spotted by careful observations as when the seasons change or the festivals begin, nor will anyone be able to say, “It has begun here in this place, or there in that part of the country,” because the kingdom of God is within you. Luke 17

May your greatest desire and deepest longing be for the Son of Man to be revealed, in you, through you, and to the world, to the point that all else is of little value, material things which you realize are not worth going back for, nor worldly reputation which is not worth trying to protect. Luke 17

Blessed are those who hunger for Me, My child, for they shall be filled; they shall be abundantly satisfied with the fullness of My banqueting house and will drink from My river of delights.
Do not settle for one dish, My starving one, or limit yourself to a single type of food at the feast, but take all of Me, so that you may share the complete and full good news of My redemption, sanctification, and soon-coming kingdom.
You are My witness, doing My work, to mature My Body, in the unity of My Spirit. Do not seek to express My vision that you carry in your heart according to the model someone else has used. Do not let imitation take the place of anointing, and do not let it become “your work” or “your mission.”
I am the source of the vision you are following, and I have the plan for you to follow. Wait before Me until I reveal the next step. Serve as I have shown you, occupying as you wait, but do not let serving take the place of waiting before Me.
I am changing you as you wait, submitted to My Spirit, in My presence. Even if there is no word, no revelation, no communication, I am molding you, building you, shaping you, preparing you for the work that I will guide you in when the time is ready.
Do not be impatient, My fiery one. Simply be attentive as you feed on Me, singly and corporately, for both are needed, as you minister to Me and allow Me to be released to others.
If you are doing My work and showing My love, you will hear My voice as I show you, bit by bit, what I have for you to do.

May you yearn, and even faint, for the courts of the Lord, for the dwelling place of the Lord is lovely beyond description, causing your heart and your flesh to cry out for the living God, the Lord of the armies of heaven. Psalm 84

May you be blessed and happy as all those who dwell in the house of the Lord, for they are ever praising the Lord of the armies of heaven. Psalm 84

May you be strong in the Lord, and want above all else to follow His steps in your pilgrimage through the Valley of Weeping, for as you go from strength to strength, the rains of refreshing sent by God will collect like blessings in the pools and springs along the way until you meet in Zion at the invitation of the Lord. Psalm 84

May you prefer one day in the courts of God and the temple of the Lord over a thousand days anywhere else, and may your desire be to guard the doors in the house of God rather than dwell in the palaces of wickedness, for the Lord God is your light and protector, giving you grace and glory, favor and honor, withholding no good thing from those who walk blameless along His way. Psalm 84

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord Almighty. Psalm 84

May you hate lies, as the righteous do, and may your right walk with God help you all through life in His integrity, while evil men are being destroyed by their wickedness. Proverbs 13:5-6

April 14

Psalm 121:1 The psalmist wrote, “I lift up my eyes to the mountains — where does my help come from?”

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

Philippians 1:9-10 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; 10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;

Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Philippians 1:6 And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to Himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation;

May you always inquire of the Lord for wisdom, desiring His will, seeking in His Word and waiting in prayer for His guidance, not moving until the cloud lifts from the tabernacle, until the Spirit moves in your heart. Joshua 9

May you be accepting of all who come, submitting themselves to God in the fear of the Lord, turning from the wickedness He has condemned and rejecting the influences they have followed before, even as you have been accepted by Jesus and appointed to good works. Joshua 9

May you not be afraid or discouraged, but be strong and courageous for the Lord will destroy all the enemies you are directed to fight against. Joshua 10

May you always be confident in and trusting on the promises of God, Who is ever willing and prepared to answer when the need arises, with abundance of supply and extravagance of power, that He may demonstrate to you, and all around you, that the Lord, He is God. Joshua 10

May you see and understand during your battle with the enemy which comes against you that more is done by the hand of the Lord than is accomplished by your efforts, for He is the One Who has given them into your hand; that is why none of them are able to withstand you. Joshua 10

May you persistently and completely pursue, engage, and destroy each aspect of the sin which so easily besets you, not being content with a single victory, but determined to follow and obey the Lord in cleansing your heart and purifying the land of your soul, for this is where God will establish His kingdom, and will reign in holiness. Joshua 10

My child, follow the connection of My Spirit which keeps you in My thoughts, and trust the ties of love that bind you to My heart, for you are ever on My mind and always in My heart, surrounded by My mercy and covered by My compassion.
Listen with your heart, so that you may hear My voice when I speak. Quiet your spirit, resting in My presence, as you look around you and thank Me for what I have given you.
Seek Me in My Word, putting other desires aside for the time, and make Me the focus of your attention, so that you can know the truth of Who I am and what you have in Me. This is how you will be able to stand against the enemy when he attempts to steal your peace of mind, kill the joy that rises up in your heart, and destroy the work of righteousness that I am doing in your life.
That which you have brought to Me in contrition and repentance, is cleansed and paid for by My blood, and I remember it no more. When the enemy tries to taunt and torment you with old recollections, understand, My loved one, that though it happened, no debt remains to be paid. Just as with the loan the bank made to you, there were penalties and consequences against you until the debt was paid. But once repayment is done, it strengthens your credit rating among men.
Although you could never repay the debt of sin you owed, the fact that you turned to Me, aware of your need, and sought Me in humility and sorrow, accepting My gift with joy, credits you with My righteousness before the Father, making you accepted in Me.
Anything that causes you to feel unworthy of coming to Me is the enemy’s voice, for you are always accepted by Me. Walk in My love, receive My truth, learn My voice, and grow in My wisdom and knowledge with humility, for you are always in My thoughts and carried in My heart.

May you follow God in the generosity of His Spirit of life, and not be found guilty of the sin of providing for yourself alone. Luke 16

May your heart be open to and tender toward the truth of God’s Word that you may walk in His presence and recognize the leading of His Spirit. Luke 16

May you listen to, treasure, and obey the Word of God as it is written, allowing it to shape your heart and conform your thoughts to the Father’s love so that you will cherish and cling to the resurrected Son, the Beloved of God, in Whom you have life, and before Whom the world must bow and give honor to as Lord of all. Luke 16

May you always walk in humility, ever understanding that obedience is not something to be boastful of, but is the least that is required of you. Luke 17

May you have faith even as small as a mustard seed, so that as you speak the words you hear the Father say, His angels will be sent to watch over it and perform it, keeping that Word in the hearts and the minds of the hearers until it has accomplished what He sent it to do, lest it return to Him void. Luke 17

May you rest in the care and protection of the Lord, knowing that regardless how the enemies of God attack, desiring to destroy all who walk obediently before God, that you are hidden in His protection, sheltered in the heavenlies regardless of what happens on earth, and that the Lord will magnify Himself before all powers and authorities when He rescues you from destruction and defends you from defeat. Psalm 83

May your desires be fully satisfied, as those of the diligent are, unlike the sluggard who craves, yet gets nothing. Proverbs 13:4

April 13

John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are My disciples, if ye have love one to another.

1 Thessalonians 5:15 See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek after that which is good for one another and for all people.

Philippians 4:13 I can do everything through Him [Christ] who gives me strength.

Philippians 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.

Romans 3:23-24 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

Psalm 16:8 I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With Him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

May you see with the eye of faith as you look upon the things of the world so that you may realize the burden and price that they bear and understand the spiritual cost which the desire for them represents to yourself and those you love. Joshua 7

May you walk in the assurance of God’s promise of victory against the enemy of your soul while remaining alert to and aware of the tactics of the evil one, that you be more than a conqueror through Him Who loves you. Joshua 8

May you know and not be surprised, when you start to take possession of the land in your life where the kingdom of God is being established, that the powers which have dwelt there in years past will come together to intimidate, threaten, distract, coerce, and terrorize you, but God has defeated them already, as He promised, and as you walk in His love, you lose the spirit of fear, for since you are more than a conqueror, you are an inheritor. Joshua 9

My child, gain the deep understanding from My Word which will serve you in knowing My ways. Receive the living wisdom from My Spirit which is required to guide you as you walk circumspectly. Accept the loving grace from My hand which empowers you to promptly obey Me in humility.
Because you have a place in My Body, you cannot operate in isolation but in unity with each member. Though you receive gifts from My Spirit, they are not to set you apart, but to involve you as a vessel in meeting the needs of the saints. Since you have a calling in My service with authority, it comes with the responsibility to express that ministry in love, even more, in intercession and prayer, even more, in tears and strong petitions, on behalf of those I send you to.
I have much for you to do, My eager one, but it cannot be done in your own strength and understanding, or the “wisdom” from your experience.
Humble yourself, and pray and seek My face, and turn from your own natural ways. Then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive your presumption, and heal your soul, cleansing it from the stain of fleshly corruption, and make of you a holy vessel, purged and cleansed, fit for the service of the King.

May you be content and faithful in your service with few things, for when you prove yourself trustworthy in those, the Lord will make you steward over real riches. Luke 16

May you decide and choose whether you will serve God or the world, for you cannot serve both. Lk16

May you know God’s heart and understand that what is highly valued among men is detestable in God’s sight. Luke 16
