Matthew 18:3 [Jesus] said, “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”

Mark 12:30-31 “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength” [and . . .] “Love your neighbor as yourself.” There is no commandment greater than these.

2 Samuel 6:14 David, wearing a linen ephod, danced before the Lord with all his might.

Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.

Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart

Luke 1:38 I am the Lord’s servant, may Your word to me be fulfilled.

May you be consoled that God’s actions and judgments are not done without cause but are righteous and just when He defends the poor in spirit and protects the weak by making them strong through Him, honoring the humble of heart as He brings down the proud and arrogant who trust in themselves, as they feed on others and make a name for themselves at the expense of those who do not defend themselves. Ezekiel 14, Matthew 5, Luke 6

May you abide in the true Vine and be nourished by the life He carries so that you may bear fruit which is pleasing to the Master Gardener, for if you reject the life-giving flow into which you have been grafted and seek other sources, you will be barren or bear bitter fruit, causing the Husbandman to cut off your branch to be burned to ashes. Ezekiel 15

May you always remember, and never forget, the debt of love you owe to the Lord, for He rescued you from the power of death, hell, and the grave, giving His life for you when you offered Him no reason to care, even as He provides His righteousness to cover you, His gifts to defend and strengthen you, and His Name to replace your shame and disgrace with His honor and reputation; therefore, turn to Him with your whole heart, hold back nothing from your Lord and Savior, forsake all former sources of gifts and comfort, pursuing Him alone and cleaving only to Him Who, accepting you as you are, loves you too much to let you remain as you have been. Ezekiel 16

May you be glad and rejoice because Jesus, Who lives forever, is our advocate before God permanently, and therefore is able to save you to the uttermost – completely, perfectly, finally and for all time and eternity – when you come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede with God and intervene for you, being holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens, and having no need to offer sacrifices for Himself since He offered Himself as an acceptable sacrifice for you. Hebrews 7

My child, say not, “I am old, and of no use,” or “I am aged, and without strength or benefit for the Lord’s work.”
From the moment you accepted My gift of redemption and were saved from sin through My miracle of rebirth, you received eternal life.
There is much that is to come, and many treasures and pleasures to receive and enjoy when your mortality puts on immortality, but you already have received the earnest of My promise with the indwelling of My Spirit and the experience of being born again into eternity.
With eternal life, there is no old age, no feebleness, no withering away like that which your mortal body experiences; instead, you are forever young. There is a growing in wisdom and an increasing in understanding that brings maturity and stability, but eternity knows no decline of strength or diminishing of vigor.
If you consider only your mortal body, fretting over the weakness it is subject to, you will be in danger of envy and jealousy toward those whose walk is not narrowed or constrained in the natural. But what benefit does the unprincipled sinner receive when judgment arrives in his life?
You, who in the youth of your eternal life have born the yoke of the Lord, sitting alone with Me and in silence before My Spirit, will know the voice of your Redeemer and walk securely in the wisdom which comes from your reverence and awe for God.
My work is from the inside out, My dear one. That which is done in private as you seek Me through My Word with tears of repentance and obey My Spirit to the decreasing and diminishing of the carnal mind’s influence and the natural man’s inclination, will be rewarded openly before all.

May you give thanks to the Lord, for He is good and His love and mercy endures forever, therefore who can fully declare His praise or adequately proclaim His mighty acts? Psalm 106

May you observe justice, treating others fairly, and constantly do what is right, being in right standing with God at all times, so that you will be happy, fortunate and envied by others. Psalm 106

May the Lord earnestly remember you when He favors His people and visit you also when He delivers them, granting you His salvation. Psalm 106

May you see and share the welfare of His chosen ones that you may rejoice in the gladness of His people and glory with His heritage in giving Him praise. Psalm 106

Although we have all sinned, having done wickedly and committed iniquity, as have those who came before us, in not understanding or appreciating His miracles or earnestly remembering the multitude of His mercies, nor imprinting His loving-kindness on our hearts, yet He saves us for His name’s sake to prove the righteousness of His divine nature and make His mighty power to be known. Psalm 106

May you believe the words of the Lord, trusting in and relying on them as you sing His praise for leading you safely through impossible circumstances and saving you from the hand of him that hates you, redeeming you from the hand of His enemy. Psalm 106

James 2:26 As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead

Habakkuk 2:14 For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.

Matthew 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

2 Corinthians 5:9 So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it.

Philippians 2:3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves,

Deuteronomy 4:9 Only take care, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things that your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life. Make them known to your children and your children’s children—

May you obey the Lord in all He directs, so that others may “hear” the Lord speaking to them by all that they see you doing, for then they will understand that He is the Lord. Ezekiel 12

May you know that the day is near when every vision, every word, every promise will be fulfilled without delay, and no more will people say that things continue just as they always have as the days go by. Ezekiel 12 2 Peter 3:1-9

May you search out the mind of God and draw near the heart of God in order to speak forth the truth of God which He gives you for His people, for He will watch over His Word which you speak in obedience, and will fulfill it in the sight of the hearers so that they will know that He has sent you when it accomplishes what He desires and achieves the purpose He determines. Ezekiel 13, Jeremiah 1, Isaiah 55

May you strengthen God’s people with His words of truth, that they may be able to stand firm on His promises when the enemy attacks like a storm. Ezekiel 13

May you speak the truth of God to those around you so that the righteous will walk in the joy of the Lord and stand in confidence on His promises, not struggling with condemnation but strengthened by the knowledge of His love for them, while the wicked learn the need to turn from their ways so they can live, and not die. Ezekiel 13

Know, My child, that the life led by My Spirit is one filled with close and intimate relationship with Me. It will be expressed internally in your heart’s frequent and deep conversations with Me, and it will also be fulfilled by receiving My ministry through the vessels I choose. You must cast aside your stereotypes of what My children look and sound like, for I accept all who come to Me.
I accept the slave as he is, for he has learned the lessons of humility and obedience, and I can teach him to walk in the liberty of spiritual authority without him grasping it as his own.
I accept the free man as he is, for when he has learned to treasure and desire the loving guidance and direction of My Spirit, he will already know the responsibilities and obligations of one who exercises authority.
When I bring you to one who looks different from you and bears different scars from life than you, do not discount what he has to say or reject the prayer he makes for you. He has already learned truth of Me that you have need of, just as you have covered spiritual ground in your journey with Me that he has not.
The witness of the Spirit inside of you, if you quench it not, will receive from Me, through the other, what each has need of to conquer your current battle as an overcomer.
Love each one, My dear one, with a generous and open hand, for as you give mercy to those you meet, you will reap mercy in time of need.

May you know that for those who wittingly set up idols in their hearts in the place of reverence to God, and persistently choose their own righteousness and devices over the path of righteousness in the Word, there is no word from God but “Repent of your abominations and live!” and no counsel from the Spirit but “Turn away from your detestable idols lest you die!” Ezekiel 14

May you be able to look beyond the traditions which have sustained and motivated the people of the Lord through years past, and see to the truth of the origins when the Lord does a new thing in the world. Hebrews 7, Isaiah 43

May you rejoice that your great High Priest, Jesus Christ, has not attained to the office because of tradition or regulation, but holds the position and fulfills the responsibilities toward us by the strength of His power and the motivation of His love, and is accepted by the Almighty God, before Whom He ministers, by the holiness of His works. Hebrews 7

May you ask God for your needs, and may you thank God for His provisions, for He is the One Who made the way for you and remembered His holy promises regarding you, bringing you out of your situation with rejoicing and shouts of joy, making you heir of what you did not work for, that you might be a witness for Him by keeping His precepts and observing His commands. Psalms 105

2 Corinthians 5:17 If anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!

Proverbs 11:4 Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.

Proverbs 10:28 The prospect of the righteous is joy, but the hopes of the wicked come to nothing.

1 John 3:2 We are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is

Psalm 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Romans 6:22-23 But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

May you follow the decrees of God and keep the laws of the Lord, not conforming to the standards of the people who surround you, that the Lord may spare you from His anger, covering you with His mercy and keeping you in His blessing, so you, and those around you, may know He is the Lord, and He makes a distinction between all who are His and all who reject Him. Ezekiel 11

May you find the Lord to be your sanctuary in all the places He sends you. Ezekiel 11

May you walk in the statutes of the Lord and keep the ordinances of God by practicing and obeying them when the Lord removes your heart of stone and gives you an undivided heart of flesh, for when He puts a new spirit in you, you will be able to see Him as your God, and He will receive you as His own. Ezekiel 11

May you be fruitful and productive in God’s work and through His blessing as land that drinks in the rain and produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed. Hebrews 6

My child, the Word I have spoken into your heart, the promise I have made to you, the vision I have shown unto you, is true and will come to pass, for I have declared it. I am constantly watching over it to perform it, ensuring that it will not return to Me without having accomplished all I desire.
The vision I gave to Noah was staggering. The world was to be destroyed by water, but I would save him and his family. The work that went into preparing for that promise was immense, but Noah’s faithful obedience did not falter, and he received the deliverance, just as I declared.
The promise I gave to Abram was incomprehensibly vast. After obeying My command to leave his country and his family, his society and culture, forgoing stability and leaving himself at the mercy of weather and drought as well as the whims of strange customs and unpredictable rulers, I assured him that the world would be blessed by his seed. At his and Sarai’s age, it was not understandable, but because of his enduring belief in My promise, Abraham received the earnest of My promise in the form of Isaac.
The dream I gave to Joseph was truth, even though it was not believed by his family, and could not occur in the circumstances at the time. The path through the changes, which were required to reach the realization of the dream, was anything but pleasant, and was guaranteed to remove any thought of Joseph being able to accomplish it himself. But Joseph’s willing acceptance of all that I brought to him prepared his heart to extend the grace and forgiveness, the mercy and acceptance that testifies to My nature and witnesses to My power to change hearts when he recognized the fulfillment of his vision from Me.
Never fear that I have forgotten you or that you have moved beyond My reach. I am the One leading you through the necessary steps for My promise to be realized in your life. You will see with your own eyes the evidence of My hand working that which you have realized is impossible any other way. Age is no barrier to Me, social status and circumstances offer no hindrance to Me, lack of strength or resources will not prevent Me from accomplishing My will which I have declared to you.
Draw close to Me daily, My love, persist in your heartfelt worship and praise to Me in all things. Choose Me over all other choices, for your work is to believe that I am sent from the Father. Allow that faith to change your heart so that My nature is shown in your words and deeds, whether in the prison or the palace, with the flock or in the tent, at work or with your neighbor. Know that My Word is true, My promise is sure, and My will shall be done on earth, just as surely as it is done in heaven.

May you show diligence in helping His people continually, to the very end, for God is not unjust, and He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him, making your hope sure, as you imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised. Hebrews 6

May you wait patiently, as Abraham did, for the promises God has given you, for He wants to make the unchanging nature of His purpose very clear to you, as an heir of what was promised, giving you this hope as an anchor for your soul, firm and secure in the work of Jesus Christ, His beloved and accepted Son. Hebrews 6

May the word God gives you bring release and deliverance when He proves it true. Psalm 105

May the Lord make you fruitful and too strong for your foes. Psalm 105

May you not boast in tomorrow, which is in the hands of God, but trust in Him for today as you follow His directions. Proverbs 27:1

Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

Luke 12:6 Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten in God’s sight.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 [God] has made everything beautiful in its time.

2 Corinthians 1:4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

Psalm 51:1-2 Be gracious to me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; according to the greatness of Your compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.

May your conduct and practices be aligned with God’s Word, guided by His Spirit, and obedient to His will, so that He will be able to judge you according to your behavior and repay you for all your practices with compassion, and spare you from His anger which is the portion of those who reject His Word and rebel against His Spirit, for then all will know that He is the Lord. Ezekiel 7

When the time arrives, may your reward spring forth; when the rod buds, may humility blossom and gentleness grow into a staff to comfort the weak and gather the flock, that they may live and rest in peace. Ezekiel 7

May you abide in the way of the Lord, the way of righteousness and justice, of mercy and compassion to others, for if you depart and follow your own ways, choosing your own destiny, creating your own standards, know that the Lord will deal with you according to your conduct, and by your own standards He will judge you, and beside Him, there is none righteous, no, not one. Ezekiel 7 Romans 3

May you submit your heart to the discipline of the Lord, yielding your desires unto the Spirit and humbling your thoughts before His Word, so that you may be shaped into a vessel of honor which is cleansed and fit to carry the glory of God, fitly joined together in the Body of Christ as a dwelling place for Him Whom even the heavens cannot contain. Ezekiel 8

May you grieve and lament over all the detestable things that are done around you, for as godly sorrow works repentance, and you turn to God in humility, He will receive you, and mark you with His Spirit, putting His claim of ownership upon you, sanctifying and protecting you in the days to come as His anger is poured out upon the iniquity of society. Ezekiel 9

My child, the world fills itself with the arrogance of its iniquity. The hallmark of its citizens is the pride with which they display their disobedience to My Word, My law, My truth, My principles. They position themselves as the arbiters of what is right and wrong, good and evil, not understanding that the true choice is between life and death.
To do this is to call the Father a liar. To walk in the way of the world is to walk in unbelief, in faithlessness, to reject the love which He has demonstrated by allowing, by sending, Me to provide redemption through My blood for all of mankind who will accept it.
The heart of God breaks with sorrow over all who turn from the One who offers them the blessing of life, choosing instead to receive the punishment of death with the one who lies to them.
The enemy offers nothing that is not already promised and available from the Father; his lies simply blind some to the truth that all things come from the Father. They would rather believe that their own hands provided what they have, for pride is the downfall of many.
I have called you to Myself, My dear one, and led you on a pilgrimage through this world so that you may be My witness to those who choose to dwell there. It is your testimony to My transforming of your heart, your story about My interaction in your life, your demonstration of My love in your choices that will bear witness to what My Spirit is speaking to them day after day.
You are My epistles, written in flesh, for all mankind to read, just as My Spirit reveals the truth of My Word to the hearts of all people. I send you as sheep among wolves, as doves among serpents, yet I will put My fear in their hearts so you will not be harmed. Though the heathen rage, some will hear, and hearing, will be converted. Great will be the rejoicing in heaven, and great will be the reward for your obedience.

As God directs and leads you, may you deal gently with those who are being taught, or are going astray, knowing you yourself are subject to weakness, even as you have been gently and patiently dealt with by the Lord through His love and not His anger. Hebrews 5

May you come before the Lord in reverent submission, offering up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the One Who saves you, knowing that He hears you, as you learn obedience from the sufferings you endure, and will use you in His harvest, for His purpose, to His glory. Hebrews 5

May you give thanks to the Lord and call upon His name, making known among the nations what He has done, as you sing praise to Him and tell others of all His wonderful acts so that His holy name is glorified and the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice as you look to the Lord and His strength, always seeking His face. Psalm 105

May you remember the wonders He has done, His miracles, and the judgments He pronounced, for He is the Lord your God, Whose judgments are in all the earth, Who remembers His covenant forever, confirming His blessing to His people, and the inheritance He has promised to those who love His ways and obey His word, not allowing His enemy to oppress His chosen, but rebuking principalities who try to touch His anointed ones, and preventing spiritual powers from doing His prophets harm. Psalm 105 Ezekiel 9

Psalm 145:18-19 The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear Him: He also will hear their cry, and will save them.

1 Peter 2:10 Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

1 Peter 5:10 The God of all grace, Who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore, support, strengthen, and establish you.

Psalm 34:8 O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in Him.

Joshua 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Psalm 119:133 Order my steps in Thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.

May you hear the word of the Lord and share it with those the Lord places around you for encouragement and exhortation, that the righteous may be convicted to remain steadfast and the wicked may repent, returning to the Lord, and therefore live. Ezekiel 3

May you be constrained by the word of the Lord as He guides you in all you do, turning not to right nor to the left by your choice, speaking not from your own understanding but from the fullness of the Father’s heart, that His will may be accomplished in the hearts of the hearers. Ezekiel 4

May you rejoice in the poured-out love of the Lord and seek His will to obediently follow His way and respectfully honor His name, for those who do not, having received blessing of the Lord and yet rebelled against His Word, not even conforming to the standards of their culture, will find that God withdraws Himself from them, making them a reproach and a taunt, a warning and an object of horror to others around with punishment and stinging rebuke. Ezekiel 5

May you trust God in all that He does, for the truth of His Word and the power of His Spirit will work in the hearts and lives of all, so that each person will know that He is the Lord. Ezekiel 6

Believe in Me, My child, for I am the Truth of God. Have faith in Me, My dear one, for I am the Way and the Life. Turn to Me, My precious one, for I am the Answer you are looking for.
Without Me, you have no strength for the endless round of daily requirements that pile ever higher and demand ever more. In Me, you will find that your weakness will not go away, but rather become the doorway through which I pour the strength you need to meet the challenges you face.
On your own, you deal with perplexing questions that you do not feel capable of answering, yet they remain, demanding answers. You have sought out people that you trust and taken counsel of them, even though you know them to be fallible and have found them to be wrong.
Turn now to Me, My seeking one, bringing your needs before Me, and ask Me for the answers you need. Ask Me, and then watch how I answer, for I am faithful and do not lie. I cannot go against My own nature.
I have come to give you life, more abundantly than you can imagine or dream. I am preparing you, training you, strengthening you to receive all that I have for you, both in this world, and in the world to come. Trust Me when you find that I need to take, remove, or change something in your life, for I act in love toward you.
I have much to give you, but your hands and your heart and your mind and your life all are often so full of what the world has brought you that you cannot receive what I have for you. When you seek Me for what you need, My first act is often to simply make some room. Allow Me to do what you have asked, even when it does not resemble what you expected.
My love for you exceeds anything you can comprehend, My beloved. I cannot do you harm, even when I cause you pain. Sorrow lasts for the night, but joy comes in the morning.

May you be careful to continue to strive in faith to enter into the promise of rest which the Lord has given, even as He Himself has rested from His work of creation. Hebrews 4

May you embrace the word of God as it reveals and judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart, uncovering all before the eyes of Him to Whom we must each give account, letting godly sorrow bring repentance, so that you may be made clean through the washing of the Word. Hebrews 4

May you hold firmly to the faith you profess since you have a great High Priest Who has ascended to the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, for He has been tempted in every way, just as you are – yet He was without sin, and He has opened the way for you to approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that you may receive mercy and find grace to help in your time of need. Hebrews 4

May you praise the Lord for the many works He has made in His wisdom, for the earth is full of all His creatures, which all look to Him to satisfy them. Psalm 104

May the meditation of your heart, the intent of your will, the thoughts of your mind, the words of your mouth, the deeds of your hands, and the steps of your feet be pleasing to the Lord as you rejoice in Him, and may sinners turn from their ways and the wicked abandon their deeds, giving praise and honor to the King Who is worthy to receive all worship. Psalm 104

November 01

Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

John 14:7 Jesus said, “If you really know Me, you will know My Father as well.”

Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

John 4:13-14 Jesus answered, “…whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

2 Corinthians 5:18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:

Romans 6:8-9 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.

May you attend to the Word of God, being found in the vast company of His host of ministers, servants, and messengers, motivated by the Spirit, compelled by His awesome love, operating in His gifts of wisdom and understanding, of strength and boldness, of unwearied diligence and patience, of speed and clarity of sight, not turning in distraction from the goal He has given you, but doing the work He has put before you. Ezekiel 1

May you not be afraid of those the Lord sends you to, though they be around you like scorpions among briers and thorns, not fearing what they say or terrified by what they do, for the Spirit’s strength will be how you stand, and the Word’s truth will be what you speak, as you listen carefully and take to heart all that the Lord speaks to you. Ezekiel 2

May you be strengthened and encouraged through the study and understanding of the Word of God which, though it contains words of lament and mourning and woe to those influenced by and following after evil, always bears the sweetness of redemption for any who turn from their wicked ways and humble themselves under His mighty hand. Ezekiel 3

May you not fail to follow the commission the Lord has given you as a watchman, blowing the trumpet and sounding the alarm, calling those who will hear to come together and warning those who will not of what is to come, so that you may be innocent of the guilt of their fate. Ezekiel 3

My child, the work I give you to do is not dependent on what the people around you are doing. It does not matter what questions they are asking, or to what purpose they are directing their efforts. My Spirit will lead you according to their hearts, not according to their actions.
In My kingdom, you learn to be open and transparent in the Spirit before Me in the prayer closet and with Me in My Body. But in the world, people learn to hide the anger, the pain, the worry that is in their heart and put on a brave front, a socially-acceptable front.
The words I give you to speak will bring life to hearts that are hurting, clarity to minds that are clouded, purpose to hands that are idle, and direction to feet that are wandering.
This is great change, and though some accept it willingly as the answer they have been looking for, many will resist change, for it will mean dropping the front they have been wearing and admitting they were wrong. In them, pride of life is still more desirable than the water of life. Let them thirst a bit longer, if they choose, as you continue to pray for them; it is not your work to convince, convict, or condemn anyone, for they must decide on their own.
The work I give you is to simply proclaim the good news of what I have done in your life and testify as My witness to the change that has been wrought in your heart. I will be with you to confirm the Word I give you to speak in their hearing.

As you share in the heavenly calling, may you fix your thoughts on Jesus, the apostle and high priest Whom we confess, for He was faithful to the One Who appointed Him, being found worthy of the highest honor by being faithful as a son over us, God’s house, which you are a part of, if you hold on to your courage and the hope of which you boast. Hebrews 3

May you encourage each other daily, so that none of you has an unbelieving heart, hardened by sin’s deceitfulness, which causes you to turn away from the living God, for you have come to share in Christ if you hold firmly till the end the confidence you had when you started following Him. Hebrews 3

May you praise the Lord your God, Who is very great, clothed with splendor and majesty, wrapped in light as a garment, stretching out the heavens like a tent, and riding the wings of the wind with the clouds as a chariot. Psalm 104

May you be grateful to God for being the Source of all you need as He gladdens your heart, makes your face shine, and sustains your life, as He provides for you both the material needs day to day, and your spiritual needs as He readies you for His presence in eternity. Psalm 104

October 31

Isaiah 38:16 Lord, . . . You restored me to health and let me live.

2 Thessalonians 3:3 The Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.

1 Corinthians 10:31 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

1 John 3:8 For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil

John 14:12 Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father

John 21:15 Jesus said to [Peter], “Feed my lambs.”

May you see how defeat comes from within, from rebellious choices, sinful decisions and personal confidence, not because the enemy is strong; so turn to God, Who is your strength, acknowledge your weakness, and seek out the Lord, Who is your righteousness, turning from your personal agenda, and wait upon the King, your Master, humbly quieting yourself before Him. Lamentations 4

May you acknowledge the Lord, Who reigns forever, Whose throne endures from generation to generation, for He will not always be silent, nor will He be absent for ever, but He will restore you to Himself and renew your days as of old. Lamentations 5

May you pay careful attention to what you have heard so that you do not drift away, for this salvation is sure, which was first announced by the Lord, and God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to His will, demonstrating how great He is that He should grant us these blessings now, and how wonderful will be our end if we embrace, and persist in following, His promises. Hebrews 2

Even though you do not yet see everything subject to Him, may you see Jesus, Who for a time was made lower than the angels to share in our humanity so that by His death He might destroy him who holds the power of death, and having tasted death for everyone, bring many sons to glory, freeing them from a lifetime of slavery to the fear of death, overcoming by His love. Hebrews 2

In the world, My child, those who feel strong will intimidate and attack others, taking what they want, while those who feel weak and threatened will hide or run.
In My kingdom, the One who is strong shows mercy to all who need it and accepts each one who comes in humility, so that every one who is honest in their weakness can approach the throne of righteousness to find grace in time of need.
In the world, those who are considered wise are crafty and well-versed in manipulation to achieve their goal of self-promotion and personal gain at the expense of others who were too slow or not ambitious enough to be ruthless.
In My kingdom, those who have received the wisdom which comes down from above are first of all pure, then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. They are not envious of others around them, but rejoice with each one who achieves a worthwhile goal or receives a well-deserved promotion.
Your goal, My dear one, is to know Me and your purpose, My love, is to be all that I have in mind for you. Striving toward this end will absorb all of your energy; by seeking Me in prayer and through My word, I will show you the harmful things to lay aside and the distracting things to forsake.
By yielding to My Spirit in loving obedience, I will empower you to forget what is behind and to focus on pressing in to receive the heavenly prize which lies ahead at the end of the race.

May you understand that your experiences, your trials, your circumstances, once you submit and yield your will to the Lord as Master and Shepherd, are training and practice, shaping and tempering, not punishment or judgment, not retribution or reaping, for you will be His ambassador to others, and you must understand what they face and realize how they feel so that you can help them in their struggles with compassion, acceptance, and mercy. Hebrews 2

May you praise the Lord with all that is within your soul, exalting His name and remembering all His benefits, for He forgives all your sins, heals all your diseases, redeems your life, crowns you with love and compassion, satisfies your desires with good things and renews your youth, working righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. Psalm 103

May you confess that the Lord does not treat you as your sins deserve or repay you according to your iniquities, for He is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in love, not accusing continually or harboring anger forever, but making known His deeds and His ways, because of His great love, to those who fear Him. Psalm 103

May you fear the Lord, revering Him in respectful awe and obeying Him with reverential respect, for He knows how you are formed and remembers that you are dust, and in His compassion, He removes your transgressions from you as far as the east is from the west, so that from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear Him and His righteousness is with their children’s children, who keep His covenant and remember to obey His precepts. Psalm 103

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.

Philippians 2:15 so that you may become blamelesss and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky

2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.

Romans 14:19 Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.

Ephesians 5:15-16 So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.

When your soul is downcast within you, may you call to mind, and therefore hope, that because of the Lord’s great love you are not consumed, for His mercies never come to an end – they begin again new and fresh every morning, for His faithfulness is abundant. Lamentations 3

May you remind yourself that the Lord is your lot in life, your inheritance, therefore you will wait for Him, for He is good to those whose hope is in Him, who trust in and depend on Him, and to the one who seeks Him, waiting quietly for the salvation of the Lord. Lamentations 3

May you realize that the Lord does not willingly bring affliction or grief to you, or cast you off forever, for though He brings suffering, His unfailing love is so abundant that He will also have compassion on you. Lamentations 3

Since it is from the Most High that both calamities and good things come, according to what He speaks, may you examine your ways and test them, returning to the Lord to lift up your heart and your hands to God in heaven, saying, “I have sinned and rebelled,” for can any living person complain when punished for their sins? Lamentations 3

May you call on the name of the Lord from the depths of the pit, for He will hear your plea and come near when you call, saying, “Do not fear, but receive My love,” as He takes up your case and redeems your life. Lamentations 3

My child, wait patiently for Me. Do not struggle on your own and attempt to bring My work to pass in your own strength. Do not seek to fulfill My promises by the works of your hands or the will of your flesh.
Trust Me, in My timing, to do all that is needed, in the proper sequence, through the right channels, in the purity of My Spirit.
Occupy yourself, in the daily routine, with praise to Me. Do you have faith that I will answer your prayer? That I will do as I have said? That I will fulfill the promise that I have put in your heart? Then praise Me now, in faith, even before you see the results.
Is there any richer expression of trust, or any more effective way of removing burdens, any exercise better guaranteed to quicken your spirit or prepare you for fresh tasks in My service?
I will give you a new song to sing, for many will be listening. Do not hide My righteousness from them, or conceal My love and My truth, but walk in the way I have shown you. Be patient until you see My Word coming to pass, but be diligent about the preparations I give you to do until then.

May you hear, and obey, when God speaks to you by His Son, Whom He appointed Heir of all things, and through Whom He made the universe, for the Son is deserving of being heard as He is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful Word. Hebrews 1

May you join in with all of God’s creation, giving worship and praise to His Son Whose throne will endure forever, with righteousness as the scepter of His kingdom, Who, having created the universe, will outlast the works of His hands, remaining the same for years without end. Hebrews 1

May you receive the ministry of His angels, which He sends to serve those who will inherit salvation. Hebrews 1

May you cry for help to the Lord Who hears your prayer, turning His face to you and answering you quickly in your distress. Psalm 102

May you know, and be assured, that when you are destitute and your days vanish like smoke, your bones burn like embers, and your heart is blighted like grass because your enemies taunt you, railing against you, using your name as a curse, the Lord will respond to your prayer and will not despise your plea, for the Lord Who sits enthroned forever, Whose renown endures through all generations, will arise and have compassion on you, showing you favor as He appears in His glory to rebuild what the enemy has torn down and lift you up from the dust where His foes have cast you down. Psalm 102

May you understand, and receive, the release He brings to the prisoners of sin, who groan under the condemnation of death, that the name of the Lord will be declared among the people and His praise unto the kingdoms as they assemble to worship the Lord. Psalm 102

John 10:27 Jesus said, “My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me.”

2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Luke 3:22 A voice from heaven said to Jesus, “You are My Son, whom I love; with You I am well pleased.”

Philippians 3:7 But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ.

2 Timothy 2:15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.

1 Peter 3:15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,

May you consider eternity, where your future awaits, and turn to the Lord, in Whom your cleansing lies, lest disobedience to the Spirit bring you grief and your foes become your masters. Lamentations 1

May you look with compassion upon those whose sins have been woven together into a yoke, and who understand that they have rebelled against the righteous commands of the Lord, that you may comfort them with the comfort you have received from the Lord as He turns their captivity and brings deliverance in the midst of their sorrow. Lamentations 1

May you never forget, in the midst of the discipline and correction of God, that His anger does not make Him your foe, for the wounds of a friend are better than the kisses of an enemy. Lamentations 2, Proverbs 27:6

May you be faithful to allow the Word of God to expose sin, that it may ward off judgment if repentance follows. Lamentations 2

May you arise, crying out in the night, giving yourself no relief and your eyes no rest as the watches of the night begin, as you pour out your heart like water in the presence of the Lord, lifting up your hands to Him for those who are dear to you. Lamentations 2

My child, a time of change can bring emotional pain, distress, anguish, grief, and questions.
When you come in repentance to Me, tears of sorrow flow as you realize how wrong you were in your beliefs and actions, but they soon change to glad tears of joy as you realize that My forgiveness is real, and it is yours, right now, immediately, not after long penance, but the very moment you turn to Me in believing faith.
The time of delivery for a child is full of distress and pain for both the mother and the infant.
When you labor in prayer for someone I have placed on your heart, entreating the Father for that person to have the same life-changing experience I have given you, you quickly face the fact that even with all the loving grace and mercy that My Spirit extends to your loved one, they may not have fully realized the truth of their standing in eternity and the reality of their spiritual condition yet.
You find that you must battle in prayer against the wiles of the enemy to silence the lies that, like hard ground and rocky soil, stunt a restlessly seeking heart from reaching for the truth. You must stand on My Word to bind the fears that, like thorns and briers, distract a willing spirit from the path to My loving freedom.
It is the work of My Spirit to grow the seed of conviction in their heart, that it may be watered by your tears and nourished by Christian relationship, in order to come to term and bring in the joyous harvest of full redemption, bearing the peaceable fruit of righteousness.
A transition in relationships can open wounds, bring tears and recriminations, and raise questions. As you grow in the Spirit of Christ, you will find that I will remove some people from your life, and bring other people into your life. You often long after the relationships you have known, and are sometimes slow to develop the relationships that are new.
You may question Me, feeling anger at your loss of the familiar and rejecting the advances of the new. But I am patient and enduring, continuing My work within you, well able to outlast your resistance, covering you with My healing love. The pain dims, the regrets lessen, and when you find you are able to accept what I am doing in your life, having no angry questions, raising no disputing issues, you will know that you have grown in faith and have become steadfast in your relationship with Me.
You will be able to patiently wait before My throne and humbly go where I send you and willingly speak what I give you, comforted by the knowledge that I always care for you and I am ever perfecting that which pertains to you.

May you be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ, for then your love will give great joy and encouragement because you have refreshed the hearts of the saints. Philemon 1

May you sing praise to the Lord for His love and justice as you seek to walk in your house with a blameless heart, setting no vile thing before your eyes, waiting for Him to come to you. Psalm 101

May you despise the deeds of those who turn aside from God’s ways, and shake them off, having nothing to do with evil and placing distance between the places where men of perverse heart are found and where your heart dwells with Christ. Psalm 101

May your eyes favor the faithful of the land so that they may sit down with you and be your companions, that you may be blessed by them and learn of them, honoring those who walk with integrity and without blame as your heroes. Psalm 101

May you put to silence, every morning, all the wicked voices who stand in your presence speaking falsely, and may you daily cast out of your house those influences that practice deceit and entice you into evil, that you may dwell in the city of the Lord forever. Psalm 101

October 28

Hebrews 12:11 All chastening seemeth for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yieldeth peaceable fruit unto them that have been exercised thereby, even the fruit of righteousness.

Luke 6:35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

1 Peter 4:8 Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins.

1 Corinthians 13:12-13 Now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then we will see face to face. Now I know only in part; then I will know fully, even as I have been fully known. And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love.

John 15:4 NRSV Jesus said, “Abide in me as I abide in you.”

1 Corinthians 13:7-8 If you love someone [with God’s Love] you will be loyal to him no matter what the cost. You will always believe in him, always expect the best of him, and always stand your ground in defending him. God’s love never fails.

May you know that the Lord is a God of recompense, and He always repays in full, showing mercy to the merciful, giving grace to the humble and rejecting those who reject His word. Jeremiah 51

May your labor not be fuel for the flames, but as you are submitted to the Lord, may your words be His, giving life and encouragement to others and may your hands bring healing to hearts wounded and strength to knees weakened by the terrors roving abroad. Jeremiah 51

May you recall your past and rehearse your history, giving witness to your wickedness and testimony to God’s redemption, for His grace can bring you out of the farthest darkness and the deepest dungeon, bringing you into the light and honoring you by setting you at the king’s table. Jeremiah 52

May you remember to be subject to rulers and magistrates, obedient and ready to do whatever is good, slandering no one but being peaceable and considerate, showing true humility toward all. Titus 3

Abide in Me, My child, even as I dwell in you.
Be of My people, My precious one, even as I covenant to be your God.
Think always, deeply, on Me, My caring one, even as I always think longingly and lovingly on you.
Be content with the inheritance I give to you, My treasured one, even as I am delighted to have chosen you to be My specific and particular portion out of all others.
Fulfill My will in your life today, My eager worker, even as I meet all your needs today.
Make Me central and supreme in your heart, My dear one, even as I have dedicated Myself to being your Advocate and High Priest before the Father.
Submit to My Spirit in order to manifest Me to the world, My dedicated one, even as I have engraved you on the palms of My hands.
Withstand the enemy with the word of your testimony, My valiant one, even as I have poured out My blood to defeat him.
Love not your life enough to shrink from death to self and flesh, My brave one, even as I emptied Myself of any reputation and plans of My own.
I will give you the grace to trust Me and serve Me as your Lord and God as you turn to Me and reach out for the abundance I have prepared for you to meet your heart’s desire.

May you rejoice because God has saved us, not through righteous things we have done, but because of His mercy, for when the kindness and love of our Savior appeared, He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, Whom He poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ, so that, having been justified by His grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. Titus 3

May you be careful to devote yourself to doing what is good since you have trusted in God. Titus 3

May you learn to devote yourself to doing what is good, in order that you may provide for daily necessities and not live an unproductive life. Titus 3

May you shout for joy to the Lord with all the earth and worship the Lord with gladness, coming before Him with joyful songs, knowing that the Lord is God, it is He that hath made us, and we are His; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Psalm 100

May you enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise, giving thanks to Him and praise to His name, for the Lord is good and His love endures forever, and His faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalm 100

Isaiah 43:1 Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are Mine.

Ephesians 5:27 …that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

1 Corinthians 12:13 For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one Body – whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free – and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.

Isaiah 60:1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.

Joshua 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of My patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

May you know that in your trials and testings, in your time of troubles, you have not been forsaken by the Lord Almighty, your God. Jeremiah 51

May you tell others of what the Lord your God had done when He vindicates you. Jeremiah 51

May you know that He Who is your Portion is not like the fraudulent images crafted by men, for though they are skillfully made, there is no breath in them and they are worthless objects of mockery which perish when their judgment comes, but He is the Maker of all things, including you – the Lord Almighty is His name. Jeremiah 51

May you not lose heart at rumors of violence, or be afraid when ruler turns against ruler, but join heaven and earth in shouting for joy as you see the judgments of the Lord begin to be executed against the spiritual authorities and systems that stand against God, in the time when He punishes the idols and disgraces their works, bringing ruin on all who trust in and rely on the empty words and shameful promises which seek to turn people from their Creator and Redeemer. Jeremiah 51

May you make an intentional separation in your mind from the agreements urged upon you by social influences and a deliberate isolation of your heart from the desires promoted by the culture around you, fleeing from involvement in the causes and movements which seem right to many, but the end thereof is death, so that you may share the convicting word of God in the purity of clean hands and pour out the life-giving power of the Spirit in His righteousness and holiness to all who start fleeing the destruction and fall of what they have trusted in. Jeremiah 51

I am willing, My child, for I am moved by compassion for you. I hear your prayers, My dear one, for I am always paying attention to you, listening whenever you call to Me.
I came into the world to save sinners, making it possible for you to come to Me, even before you realized your need. When you were touched by the convicting power of My Spirit, Who made much of Me unto you, I was moved by compassion to give you the grace of acceptance when, having recognized your need, you prayed to be forgiven, and to receive new birth into My kingdom.
When you caught a glimpse of the heavenlies, as My Spirit revealed My holiness to you, you yearned to be able to join Me but realized how you were weighed down by the carnal way of thinking. I saw the desire of your heart to grow in faith, in self-control, in love, in godliness, and began to lead you on the path to maturity.
Through trials of discovery and testings of refinement, you were brought to decision point after decision point and given the opportunity to address the stony rocks that circumstances had uncovered in your heart. Each time, I empowered you to give it a repudiating shove that would roll it away from your heart, something you could never have done by yourself.
I remained patiently working with you on those issues for which you could not yet bring yourself to separate and divorce yourself from. I kept bringing you back to it again after you had to carry it and stumble over it, until the perceived enjoyment from it was outweighed by realizing what it kept you from.
While you were busy dealing with the internal house-cleaning, I made sure that others who knew you caught glimpses of the changes that were occurring in your heart, in your speech, in your actions, in your choices. You were My witness before the world in the midst of your greatest struggles, My precious one, for when you are willing to die to your carnal nature, it is a choice that I treasure as very dear to Me. I see your selfless choice and know that I can trust My authority to you.
It is when you have found in your heart a sorrow for the plight of others that I know you are ready to be about the family business, My maturing one. That is the prayer that I will always answer with joy, for you are demonstrating the love that is in My heart, the love that sent Me in obedience to the Father to go to earth to give of Myself for others. I am willing, My child, to answer your prayers and give to you the people, the families, the clans, the tribes, the nations as you seek Me for them, enlarging your tent and stretching out your ropes.
Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the earth and the end of the age.

May you live consistent with sound doctrine, that others may learn from observing your life, to be temperate, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, love, and endurance, loving your family, managing your household, pure, kind, honoring your spouse, showing integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, being subject to those in authority over you, so that in every way you may make the teaching about God our Savior attractive. Titus 2

May you embrace the grace of God that brings salvation, for it teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives while we wait for the blessed hope – the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, Who gave Himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for Himself a people that are His very own, eager to do what is good. Titus 2

May you praise the great and awesome name of the Lord Who reigns over the nations, causing the earth to shake and the people to tremble, as He is seated enthroned between the cherubim, for He is holy, and exalted over all the nations. Psalm 99

May you exalt the Lord your God and worship at His footstool for He is holy, and has done for His people what is just and right, establishing equity through His strength and by His love for justice. Psalm 99

May you exalt the Lord your God and worship at His holy mountain, for the Lord answers your prayers and forgives you, though He punishes your misdeeds, for the Lord God is holy. Psalm 99

October 26

Ecclesiastes 7:20 There is no one on earth who is righteous, no one who does what is right and never sins.

Psalm 93:5 Your statutes stand firm; holiness adorns Your house for endless days, O LORD.

Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.

Amos 8:11 Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord God, when I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but [a famine] for hearing the words of the Lord.

Psalm 119:11 I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.

Lamentations 3:24 Deep in my heart I say, “The LORD is all I need; I can depend on him!”

May you find your joy in the manifold presence of the Lord and in your obedient service to His saints, that you may stand in the day when bad news arrives and point the way to the Lord when others seek a way to flee. Jeremiah 49

May you be ready to seek the Lord your God in tears, asking to know His ways, and turn your face to Him, to come and bind yourself to the Lord in an everlasting covenant that will not be forgotten. Jeremiah 50

Though you have had shepherds who were only hirelings and left you wandering on mountain and hill, unable to find a resting place, often fearful and insecure, taken advantage of, may you turn to the Lord in thanks, giving Him honor for being your true pasture, and be drawn into the hope He restores to you. Jeremiah 50

May you continue to seek the Lord through prayer and the Word, obeying His commands and praising His goodness, so that when God turns our captivity, returning from the far-off country to receive His kingdom, no guilt will be found, no sins will be seen, for He will forgive the remnant He has spared as He brings His people back to their pasture. Jeremiah 50

May you know that your Redeemer is strong; the Lord Almighty is His name, and He will vigorously defend your cause so that He may bring rest to your heart, but unrest to your captors who hold you fast. Jeremiah 50

May you receive and embrace the faith of God’s elect and the knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness, resting on the hope of eternal life, which God, Who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time. Titus 1

My child, do not fear the loneliness of the soul, nor shy away from the silence of the heart. Though it causes you pain, you will not die, but you will live. For it is in that silence that you will hear My voice; it is in that aloneness that you will feel My touch.
Your heart has cried out to Me for the intimacy of relationship you desire, that closeness of walking with Me that you see in others. This is the price they paid to have that personal, one-on-one nearness with Me in the spirit that is so attractive to you.
I have heard your prayer and am answering it; are you going to refuse My answer to your prayer? Will you then say in your heart, “God does not answer my prayers”? Be careful that you do not distance yourself from Me, or let your fervor grow cold through rejection of My gift and from avoidance of My presence.
Even in your most profoundly solitary walk, My dear one, when the heaviness of your isolation bears down on you in a crushing weight of realization that there is no one within reach, hear the gentle voice of My Spirit reminding you that you are now, indeed, in awesome company; for walking with you will be revealed the Godhead in union, the Three-in-One united in purpose, in will, and in love, accepting you into the midst of their loving embrace and sustaining relationship. It is from these times of lonely fellowship that you learn to abide in the Vine and draw life from the true Root.
Though you fear the withering and dying of what you have known, understand that those connections were of the flesh and were destined to end eventually. That time has now arrived. What you are receiving from My hand is eternal, My love, and will never cease, for I do not change, and I will never leave you or forsake you.
Trust in Me, My precious one, and rest on My promises, for I am doing a work in your heart that will bring rejoicing to many as they receive from Me the flow of My loving Spirit through you as they never could have before. I will make of you a witness for My love and a channel for My compassion, establishing you in the hearts of many.
It starts with knowing Me in the sanctuary of solitude; meet with Me there, My child.

May you walk in the ways of the Lord, demonstrating hospitality, loving what is good, being self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined, holding firmly to the trustworthy message of God’s love in order to encourage others and refute those who oppose God’s truth. Titus 1

May you be glad that the Lord reigns, and may you rejoice at His righteousness and justice, which are the foundation of His throne, for though fire goes before Him, consuming His foes, the earth trembles before His lightning, and the mountains melt like wax before Him, yet the heavens proclaim His righteousness and all the peoples see His glory. Psalm 97

May you rejoice and be glad because of the judgments of the Lord, for the Lord Most High over all the earth is exalted far above all gods. Psalm 97

May you rejoice in the righteousness of the Lord and praise His holy name, for those who love the Lord hate evil, and as light is shed upon the righteous and joy on the upright in heart, He guards the lives of His faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked. Psalm 97

May you sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done marvelous things, His right hand and His holy arm have worked salvation for Him, making known His salvation and revealing His righteousness to the nations, for He has remembered His love and His faithfulness to His people, who have shown His salvation to the ends of the earth. Psalm 98

May you shout for joy to the Lord of all the earth, and burst into jubilant song with music, making music to the Lord with the harp and the sound of singing, with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn as you shout for joy before the Lord, the King. Psalm 98

October 25

John 17:21 Jesus said, “As You, Father, are in Me and I am in You, may they also be in Us, so that the world may believe that You have sent Me.”

John 13:35 Jesus said, “This is how everyone will know that you are My disciples, when you love each other.”

Hebrews 10:25 Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another — and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin

Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Galatians 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

May you not be lax in doing the work the Lord gives you or in carrying out the assignments of the Spirit, for while others are designated to bring disaster and punishment upon the world, you are given the gospel to share so that the lost sheep may be found and the harvest gathered in before the storm strikes. Jeremiah 48

May you seek for and strive after a repentance and reformation on a national level so that God’s judgment may be avoided, but be certain that you maintain a personal repentance and revival so that you may be prepared for it as you walk in a respectful awe and humble obedience towards the Lord. Jeremiah 48

Though nations strive with each other and men of might exert their authority over others, may you always respect the rights of the poor and stand up for the cause of the destitute, protecting the widow and nurturing the orphan, for God Himself will see that His righteous judgments are accomplished in the earth and will call all men to account for their actions. Jeremiah 49

May you preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season to correct, rebuke and encourage – with great patience and careful instruction, though they will not put up with sound doctrine. 2 Timothy 4

May you keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, and do the work you are given, discharging all the duties of your ministry. 2 Timothy 4

May the Lord stand at your side, giving you strength to fully proclaim His message, and deliver you from the lion’s mouth, rescuing you from every evil attack. 2 Timothy 4

Know the truth, My child, and it shall set you free.
The undeniable truth is that you were born into an inheritance of the flesh and of sin that you cannot escape through your own efforts or will-power, any more than a leopard can change his spots to a tiger’s stripes.
Man’s greatest efforts to create a paradise on earth are doomed from the beginning because the seed of selfishness and sin are always present in his works. Man’s highest philosophy can never carry him beyond the effects of his baser nature for there is no way to separate his actions from his intentions; his heart is drawn continually toward evil and spirals ever toward death.
The eternal truth is that I have overcome the world, defeating death, hell, and the grave, and overturning the kingdom of the evil one. I have the keys to your shackles, and I have opened the door to your prison cell. I am the Truth, the Way, and the Life, and no one comes to the Father but by Me. I formed all of creation, and after it fell, staining with sin that which I had pronounced good, I followed the path by which I was able to redeem it.
I, who am holy, became the offering for sin; through Me, by your faith in Me, as shown by your obedience to Me, you are born anew to life instead of death, to righteousness instead of sin, to pleasing the Father instead of enmity to God, to good works which have been foreordained instead of works of the flesh which have their part in the lake of fire.
Know the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, that you may be free from the lies and half-truths designed to steal, kill, and destroy that which the Father has declared clean, accepted in the Beloved, and holy.
Walk in the light as I am in the light, and know the fellowship of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, in the company of the Body of Christ.

May you sing for joy to the Lord and shout aloud to the Rock of your salvation, coming before Him with thanksgiving and extolling Him with music and song, for the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. Psalm 95

May you bow down in worship and kneel before the Lord your Maker, for He is your God and you are in His flock. Psalm 95

May you sing to the Lord with all the earth a new song which praises His name and proclaims His salvation day after day, declaring His glory among the nations and His marvelous deeds among all peoples, for the Lord is great and most worthy of praise. Psalm 96

May you fear the Lord above all gods, for they are but idols of the nations but the Lord made the heavens; splendor and majesty are before Him and strength and glory are in His sanctuary. Psalm 96

May you ascribe to the Lord glory and strength which is due to His name, bringing an offering as you come into His courts to worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness as the whole earth trembles before Him Psalm 96

May you say among the nations that the Lord reigns, for He will judge the peoples with equity when He comes, He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in His truth as all of His creation rejoices – the earth will be glad, the sea will resound, the fields will be jubilant and all the trees will sing for joy at His appearing. Psalm 96

Psalm 143:6 I spread out my hands to You; I thirst for You like a parched land.

Jeremiah 10:24 Correct me, LORD, but only with justice — not in Your anger, lest You reduce me to nothing.

Proverbs 6:16-19 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto Him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, an heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Deuteronomy 4:29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find Him, if thou seek Him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

Proverbs 8:17 I love them that love Me; and those that seek Me early shall find Me.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

When you are worn out with groaning and find no rest in your heart, having sorrow added to your pain, may you not seek out great things for yourself while the Lord overthrows what He has built and uproots what He has planted, bringing disaster on all people, but be content that the Lord preserves your life wherever you go. Jeremiah 45

May you not fear or be dismayed, for as you continue to serve the Lord, seeking His will, obeying His Word, the Lord will surely save you and you will again have peace and security, and no one will make you afraid for God is with you; He will discipline you with justice, training you for His work, cleansing you for His purpose, but will not completely destroy you as He will those who reject Him totally. Jeremiah 46

May you turn to the Lord now, with sorrow and repentance, distancing yourself from the choices of the culture and desires of the society, lifting up the weak and supporting the helpless, for the promises of God are sure and His judgments are righteous – He protects those who draw near Him and cuts off those who reject Him. Jeremiah 47

May you flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace along with all who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 2 Timothy 2

May you have nothing to do with foolish and stupid arguments because they only produce quarrels, but instead, you must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful, gently instructing those who oppose you, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they will come to their senses, escaping from the trap of the devil who has taken them captive to do his will. 2 Timothy 2

Do not rely on those who rely on false gods, My dear one, or the might of the flesh or the systems of the world. Do you seek the protection of the government of your nation, or depend for your living on the corporations of the world, or even seek for eternal life and justification through the religious institutions of man?
You say within your heart that you believe in Me, but what do you dwell on and speak of in times of national uncertainty? Do you worry about the level of your nation’s military readiness, or do you give Me thanks for the stronghold I have prepared for your refuge?
When the financial outlook for the economy is grim, what steps do you take? Do you see your job as your way through a crisis, counting on a paycheck to give you what you need? Do you check and recheck your bank balance, hoping to find the answer there? Do you watch the market for fast-growing stocks and safe investments? Or do you realize that I have promised to meet your every need as you walk in the way I set before you?
Can you trust Me enough to willingly walk away from a job when I confirm to you that I have someplace else for you to minister in? Can you demonstrate your faith through obedient action that I am your Source and, whether I use ravens to bring you food or simply refill the jar of oil and the pot of flour each night, trust that I will take care of you? Can you obediently give when I direct you to meet the needs of others in the midst of your want with confidence in My supply?
When the dark night of the soul is upon you, do you seek for encouragement in the words of men and solace in the music of the soul as your first step? Can you name the names of religious speakers and their spouses and the names of their ministries more quickly and readily than you can find the scriptures of comfort in My Word?
Do you find yourself turning in your mind to replay words of peace from a man whose life is lived large in this world, or does your heart cling to the remembered witness of a life lived with few worldly pleasures but rich in godly faith and strong with My authority in prayer, bearing the marks in their soul of My continued and abiding presence?
Do not simply turn from idols, My child, but turn even from those who rely on them. Do not seek the strength, the assurance, the comfort they offer, for it will fail. Be, instead, the one who knows the Light of God and walks in My path of righteousness and obedience, pointing others to the gracious acceptance of My compassion for all who humble themselves in repentance before Me.

May you have nothing to do with the people who have a form of godliness but deny the power of God, loving themselves rather than the Lord, always studying but never acknowledging the truth, opposing those who walk in the truth, persecuting all who want to live a godly life in Christ Jesus, for the Lord will rescue you from them all. 2 Timothy 3

May you continue in what you have learned, because you know those from whom you learned it, and you have known the Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, for all Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that you may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3

May you know the blessing of being taught from the law of God and receiving the discipline of the Lord, for He will grant you relief from days of trouble till a pit is dug for the wicked, for the Lord will not reject His people and will never forsake His inheritance, and judgment will again be founded on righteousness and all the upright in heart will follow it. Psalm 94

When anxiety rises up greatly in you, may God’s consolation bring joy to your soul, for when you find your foot is starting to slip, the Lord’s love will support you. Psalm 94

May you take refuge in God your rock and let the Lord become your fortress, for when corrupt authorities which bring misery by their decrees band together against the righteous and condemn the innocent to death, the Lord our God will repay them for their sins and destroy them for their wickedness. Psalm 94
