Proverbs 2:8 He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of His saints.

Romans 8:6-8 For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, 7 because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, 8 and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.

Joel 2:13 So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the LORD your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness; and He relents from doing harm.

Zephaniah 2:3 Seek the LORD, all you meek of the earth, who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of the LORD’s anger.

Psalm 105:4 Seek the LORD and His strength; seek His face evermore!

May you understand that a great fall from God’s favor is not caused from being overcome by a powerful enemy, but is the inevitable result of a persistent lifestyle of ingratitude for God’s blessing, complaint and murmuring against His provision, and resistance and unyielding disobedience to His spirit of mercy and grace. 2 Kings 17

May the fear of the Lord permeate your heart and motivate your behavior that you may walk in singleness of vision and purity of purpose; for mere outward compliance with forms and traditions, mixed with an unchanged and impure heart cannot follow the ways of the Lord or walk in the paths of righteousness. 2 Kings 17

May you purpose in your heart to follow the Lord and to do what is right in His eyes, removing from your life the influences that distract your thoughts from God and bringing into submission to Christ all thoughts and intentions that resist obedience to the Lord. 2 Kings 18

May true faith grow in your heart as you draw on the Word of God for understanding and seek the face of God in prayer that your devotion to the Lord will not be based on tokens or traditions, but rooted in the truth of His Word and strengthened by the presence of His Spirit. 2 Kings 18

May your joy in the work of the Lord and your delight in the ministry to those He holds dear be constant, unchanged by outward circumstances and unaffected by inward concerns, for He is faithful in all events, and is with you always, even unto the end of the age. Acts 20

May the depth of the hunger of your heart for the word of the Lord and the ministry of the Spirit overcome your desire for rest and your interest for entertainment when the Lord is drawing you into a time of renewal and a season of refreshment. Acts 20

May you always be on watch over yourself, and alert over those who walk with you, against the dangers that arise from within and without, from the world, the flesh, and the enemy of your soul, trusting in God to secure you, fleeing the appetites of the flesh, and resisting the enemy, committing yourself to God and to the word of His grace which builds you up and gives you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified. Acts 20

It is time, My child, to walk in the discipline you have been given. Time, as you understand it, is short, and you have yet a ways to go. There is still time to grow into what I have planned for you, and learn what I have assigned to you, but there is no more time for playing or following your own desires.
I have given you leeway in what you have asked for so that you could learn that it does not bring what you sought, but you continue to chase after it, even though you have learned what bitter fruit it bears. There is now only enough time to cover the distance which remains for you to travel, only time enough to learn the truth you will need to stand as My witness in the face of the enemy’s opposition, time enough only to practice walking in the gifts I have assigned you before you will be in the midst of the fray.
Stay alert, My child, as you go about your daily work and fulfill the responsibilities and obligations in your regular routine, remaining focused on My voice. Listen for My Spirit, even when you do not hear Me speaking to you – do not let silence cause your attention to wander. I will speak to those who listen, attentively waiting, eager to hear Me; I will be found by those who continually seek for Me, never letting their attention, their focus of desire, stray.
You are always in My heart, My precious one, and I have much prepared for you, treasured times awaiting you, but you must draw near to Me, step by step, and learn of Me, event by event. It takes time to grow into what I have for you, My tender one, and there is only time enough remaining for that to be completed if you turn your desire fully and wholly toward Me.

May you praise the name of the Lord with the angels in the heights above as they observe His wisdom and righteous judgments in worshipful reverence, marveling at the privilege of being in the presence of God’s majestic throne, crying out in worship of His holiness. Psalm 148

May you join in praise of the name of the Lord with the sun, moon, and stars in the heavens as they proclaim His power and understanding through their daily obedient following of the regular paths He has placed them in to be His routine representatives day after day for times and seasons, declaring His provision and preparation, His faithfulness and promises, He reliability and trustworthiness. Psalm 148

May you give worshipful praise to the name of the Lord with the highest heavens of the sky and the waters and clouds above the skies which demonstrate His reach as He stretches out the canopy and show forth His grace as He waters the earth, bringing waters from afar and refreshing the just and unjust alike, and bear His likeness to the world in the view of all as the clouds which received Him, and will again bear Him in His return. Psalm 148

May you praise the name of the Lord for He has created by His command and set in place by His decree all things which bear witness of Him, for His name alone is exalted, and His splendor will never pass away, yet He has chosen you for Himself and strengthened you with His power, for you are close to His heart. Psalm 148

Just as the heart of a fool, simply by talking, provokes arguments and strife, leading him into punishment and pain, may your heart be so filled with the Word and the Spirit of God that not only your deeds, but your very words, will carry the healing, peaceful, life-giving grace and compassion of the Father, showing honor to Him Who sits on the throne and exalting Him Who created all things. Proverbs 18:6-7

Psalm 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

James 1:17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

2 Corinthians 4:16 That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day.

John 15:5 Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.

Proverbs 14:26 In the fear of the Lord one has strong confidence, and his children will have a refuge.

Hebrews 12:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

May you submit your soul to the discipline of the Lord, for the trials and testings of God which purify your faith are to be preferred over the turmoil and turbulence of the unrestrained heart which is influenced by the principalities of wickedness. 2 Kings 15

May you not attempt to remedy the effects of sin through another sin, but turn to God, your Redeemer, Whose Son has paid the price for every sin. 2 Kings 16

May you not forsake the true worship of God for idolatry and superstitions of man, for the pricking of your conscience before God is the Holy Spirit leading you to life, but the numbing of your heart is the enemy leading you into death. 2 Kings 16

May you not turn from the precepts of the Lord and ways of God to appease or prefer a neighbor lest you follow them downhill to destruction, but stand in the truth of the Word and the power of the Spirit and share the testimony of Jesus, perchance to lift your neighbor into life. 2 Kings 16

May you walk in a personal, intimate relationship with God, calling His name with passion and hearing your name with desire, so that even the enemies of God will know that you are in His hand, protected and cherished. Acts 19

May the love of God constrain you to turn your heart to the harvest, stepping away from all pursuits which hinder the work of the Word in renewing your mind and slows the handiwork of the Spirit in shaping your heart. Acts 19

May you know that the Word of God stills the endless accusations in your mind, and the Spirit of God ends the unceasing roarings of emotion in your heart which the enemy brings against you, as you persist in seeking the Lord through prayer, praise, devotions, and fellowship. Acts 19

Tarry before Me, My child, and wait in My presence with praise for Who I am and thanksgiving for what I have done. Dwell in Me, My hungry one, as your walls and barriers crumble, dismantled by the Holy Spirit, Who removes all separations and division in your heart and in your mind, in your thinking and in your actions, which isolate you from Me and from My children.
This is the work I am doing in your life, My lonely one, for as this progresses, you will receive power from My Spirit and gain authority from My Word to hold children in love, to heal the sick in compassion, to wash the feet of others in service.
The ways of the world must be unlearned, turned from, disavowed, for power and authority in that context is the means to control and subjugate others, bending their wills to serve at your pleasure.
The way of My kingdom is loving service for others, giving of your strength and substance to meet the needs in the lives of those I am drawing, ministering to those I have selected as heirs of salvation regardless of whether they have realized it or not.
The commandments of My kingdom are not burdensome once you lay down your pride and release your ego, for My yoke is easy and My burden is light. The one who follows My way of love is the one to whom I will disclose Myself, and having seen Me, you will have seen the Father. Those who have known the Father find wisdom and gain understanding, receiving great peace, and are kept from stumbling.
What great joy there is to be free of condemnation from the power of sin and death, and to walk in the freedom of the authority of the Spirit of life and light!

May you praise the Lord, Who is good, which is pleasant and fitting, for He builds up His people, seeking and gathering His exiles, healing the broken-hearted and binding up their wounds. Psalm 147

May you praise the Lord, Who is great and mighty in power, and Whose understanding has no limit, knowing the number of the stars and calling each of them by name, for He sustains the humble but casts the wicked to the ground. Psalm 147

May you sing to the Lord with thanksgiving, making music to your God, for He covers the sky with clouds, though it hides the sun, supplying the earth with rain and making grass grow on the hills, thus providing food for the cattle, which lack wisdom or understanding, and for the young ravens, without beauty of form or pleasantness of cry when they call. Psalm 147

May you put your hope in His unfailing love as you express the fear of the Lord in reverential awe and respectful obedience, for the Lord delights in you more than in the strength of the horse or the ability of man. Psalm 147

May you extol the Lord and praise your God, for He strengthens your defenses and blesses you from the inside out, granting you peace with those around you and satisfying your needs with the truth of His Word. Psalm 147

May you praise the Lord for revealing His Word to you while you were still resisting His Spirit, and for teaching you His ways, sharing the secret, hidden things of God, as you sought Him in love. Psalm 147

May you believe deeply and fully in the Word of God, drinking long and satisfyingly from the well of the Spirit, receiving in abundance the life of the Father which will quicken your mortal body and flow from your innermost being through wisdom spoken with understanding and grace, giving support and encouragement to refresh the souls of others as a pure fountain bubbling up on a hot day in a dry land. Proverbs 18:4, John 7:38, Romans 8:11

May you walk in the righteousness of God, upholding His judgments, and seeking justice for the weak, the orphans, and the widows, resisting the proud, rejecting the bribes of the wealthy, giving grace and expressing compassion to the repentant, and encouraging those who are seeking to walk in the ways and commands of the Lord. Proverbs 18:5

My child, I have called you “righteous,” so why do you question My judgment and doubt My truth? Is it not because you look upon My work with eyes that are blind to the work of the Spirit and try to understand with the carnal mind, which is enmity to Me?
The world claims that to be called righteous would mean that person is one who never sins. The enemy tries to impress that lie upon your thoughts because all have sinned, and no one would then have the right to call upon Me for help and strength to resist him.
However, I declare righteous that person who desires to know Me and, turning from their old way of living and thinking and acting, accepts the rescue and deliverance that I have made available through the blood I shed on the cross of Calvary, for the empty tomb declares the victory which defeated the devil.
Since My blood cleanses the guilt, removes the shame, and expunges the record, I give to whosoever will the right to become a son of God, upright and favored, no longer a destitute and abused child of Satan.
You are growing in My Spirit and My Word, maturing in grace and developing in mercy, progressing in compassion and arising in love. That means that while you do not yet walk perfectly in My ways, you are moving in the right direction by drawing closer to Me.
I speak of those things which are not as though they already were for I see that they will be. So walk in the authority of My Word and the power of My Spirit, My righteous one, knowing I place boundaries and safeguards around you, putting tutors over you as you progress.
Understand that the whole of creation is eagerly anticipating the day of your graduation when you are fully transformed into My likeness. This does not happen by your effort of will but by the power of My Spirit responding to the choice of your will and because I have said in My Word that it would come to pass.
All the hard studies and repeated lessons, the failed tests and despairing of ever learning and changing will be forgotten in the joy of that day when you come face-to-face with Me and know Me, even as you are known by Me.

May you strengthen your brethren day by day as you encounter them. Acts 18

May you minister the grace and gospel of Christ as the Lord equips you, whether with education and knowledge, or with experience and practice, for there will always be those who need the wisdom and perspective that God has given you. Acts 18

May you praise the Lord from the depths of your soul as long as you live, singing praise to your God. Psalm 146

May you hope eternally in the Lord your God, never trusting in other powers or in men, none of whom can deliver you or even defend themselves, for on the very day their end comes, their thoughts and plans perish with them. Psalm 146

May you ever seek to obey the Lord your God who reigns over Zion for all generations, for He is the maker of all creation and remains forever faithful, upholding the cause of the oppressed and giving food to the hungry, setting the prisoner free and giving sight to the blind, lifting those who are bowed down because He loves the righteous, watching over the foreigner and sustaining the fatherless and the widow as He frustrates the ways of the wicked. Psalm 146

May you take delight in revealing and sharing the heart of the Father to others and find satisfaction by encouraging the growth and maturing of the saints. Proverbs 18:2

May you receive the grace and love of God in humility, turning from your former ways and walking in the righteousness of Christ, bringing honor to the Lord, and being honored by Him as one of His beloved. Proverbs 18:3

Jeremiah 9:23-24 “Let not the wise boast of their wisdom or the strong boast of their strength or the rich boast of their riches, 24 but let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have the understanding to know Me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,” declares the LORD.

Psalm 36:7 The psalmist wrote, “How precious is Your steadfast love, O God! All people may take refuge in the shadow of Your wings.”

May you be confident in your hope that, although the enemy of your soul will attempt to destroy all the routes, close all the doors, remove all the means by which the promise of God can be realized, the Lord will still have the way hidden from the enemy by which the Word of God will come to pass in your life. 2 Kings 11

May you be zealous to see the work of God advance in your life and the name of God glorified, so that you will be willing to do things differently if progress is waning. 2 Kings 12

May you exalt your God the King, praising His name every day and extolling His name for ever and ever. Psalm 145

May you commend the greatness of the Lord’s ways to each generation, telling of His mighty acts and speaking of the glorious splendor of His majesty as you meditate on His wonderful works. Psalm 145

You do right to confess Me as God, for I am that, from before time and throughout eternity. The occasion is coming when every tongue will make that same confession, and every knee will demonstrate its truth by bending before Me when I reveal Myself to the world.
But not all who do will enter into My presence and enjoy the pleasures of My rewards. Only those who have willingly humbled themselves to confess their need of My salvation, and turned in repentance and rejection from the practices and pursuits they used to follow, will know the joys I have prepared for those who love Me.
I have pledged Myself in a binding covenant relationship to each who turn to Me in sorrow for their enmity and embrace My will for their lives, trusting My promise to never depart, but to dwell with them in My eternal compassion and loving-kindness.

May you entrust to the next generation the knowledge of the power of God’s awesome works by proclaiming His great deeds so that they will celebrate the Lord’s abundant goodness and joyfully sing of His righteousness. Psalm 145

May you extol the Lord with each of His saints as all He has made will praise Him for His graciousness and compassion, being slow to anger and rich in love, for He is good to all His creation. Psalm 145

May the Lord be extolled by all His saints, for He is good to all and has compassion on all He had made; the Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love, therefore all He has made will praise Him. Psalm 145

May you tell of the glory of God’s kingdom and speak of His might so that all men may know of His mighty acts and the splendor of His everlasting dominion, which endures through all generations. Psalm 145

May you look to the Lord Who gives you your daily food and, from His open hand, satisfies the desires of every living thing, for He is faithful to all His promises and loving toward all He has made, upholding all those who fall and lifting up all who are bowed down. Psalm 145

May your mouth speak in praise of the Lord, as you join with every creature in honoring His holy name for ever and ever, for He watches over all who love Him and fulfills the desires of those who fear Him, hearing the cries of all who call on Him in truth and saving them as He draws near because the Lord is righteous in all His ways and loving toward all He has made. Psalm 145

May you not isolate yourself seeking your own desire, but follow sound judgment without rebelling as you seek to meet other’s needs before your own. Proverbs 18:1

June 26

Matthew 28:20 Jesus said, “Remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Psalm 62:8 Trust in [God] at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to Him, for God is our refuge.

Judges 5:21 March on, my soul; be strong!

Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Isaiah 41:10,13 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand… 13 For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the One who helps you.

Psalm 73:23-24 Nevertheless I am continually with Thee; Thou hast taken hold of my right hand. 24 With Thy counsel Thou wilt guide me, and afterward receive me to glory.

May you know that the Word of God is sure, for He watches over the words spoken by His prophets to bring His will to pass, and though it takes years as men measure it, His purpose will be accomplished through willing vessels whom He raises up. 2 Kings 9, Isaiah 55

May you understand that when you see an arrogant heart in the midst of humbling circumstances, that God’s judgment is near, for in His mercy He will bring a person to repentance or to ruin. 2 Kings 9

May your love for God and trust in Him be great enough that you are willing to turn from the “little” sins as well as the gross sins, from false worship as well as false gods, from “gainful” sins as well as wasteful sins, lest the Lord begin to deal with you to purify your heart and cleanse your thoughts, deepening your desire for His truth. 2 Kings 9

May you always rejoice when the Word of God is preached to all, and be willing to receive all who accept Him in repentance and conversion, not in jealous exclusion of others as some of the Jews did. Acts 17

May you stand before those who hold many beliefs and present to them the one truth that is needful for them, giving no attention to the naysayers but reaching out to those whose hearts have been prepared to receive the good seed of the gospel. Acts 17

My child, what promises are you building on? My promises of salvation and deliverance give you a foundation that is both strong and straight. My assurances of direction and guidance give you the building blocks which align your work to My will as you recognize Me as the cornerstone, true and unwavering.
My pledge to send the Holy Spirit as Comforter and Teacher gives you the living mortar that binds the unchanging building blocks together, breathing life and vision into a loose pile of stone and bricks to form a strong and beautiful structure which illustrates My grace and reflects My glory.
But you must always check your materials, My eager one, and seek Me to evaluate your work. It is ever the tendency of man to use what is in reach and try to incorporate wood for bricks, adding stubble to the mortar, but this will weaken the structure I am guiding you to build. It must be able to withstand the storms of wind that the world will experience, and survive the floods beating against it that I will unleash soon, and endure the fiery trials that will come upon the whole world.
If you rely on your own promises, My precious co-laborer, all that you hang on it will fall to the ground. Do you proclaim, as Peter did, “Though all men be offended because of thee, yet I will never be offended”? My loving one, only in the promises given by Us can you place any confidence. Do not supplement My word, but rely on it totally.

May the Lord be the focus of your conversation and your lifestyle, your words and your deeds, your intentions and your actions, for no one is more worthy, though none will be more despised, but He will watch over the Word that you talk and walk to perform it, accomplishing what He wills, so that it will not return to Him void. Acts 17, Isaiah 55

May you take refuge in the Lord, your Rock, Who loves you and guards you, training your hands for war in the heavens and your fingers for spiritual battle, for He Whom you praise is your eternal stronghold and strong deliverer, your ever-present shield, Who subdues the unseen powers around you, placing them under you. Psalm 144

May the Lord reach down His hand from on high to deliver you from the mighty waters and rescue you from the hands of foreigners whose mouths are full of lies and whose right hands are deceitful, for though you are a mere mortal whose days are like a fleeting shadow, God parts His heavens to come down, sending forth His lightning to scatter the enemy and shooting His arrows to rout them. Psalm 144

May you sing a new song to God, making music to the One Who gives victory to His people and delivers His servants, redeeming you from the deadly sword and rescuing you from the hands of foreigners, for then your children will prosper and your barns will be filled with every kind of provision, while your livestock will increase by thousands; your defenses will not be penetrated, there will be no cry of distress in the streets, and no one will be taken captive, for you will be blessed when you make God your Lord. Psalm 144

May the knowledge God has given you be demonstrated when you set bounds on your words, and your understanding illustrated by an even temper and excellent spirit. Proverbs 17:27

June 25

1 Peter 5:8-9 Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9 But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world.

Galatians 5:16-17 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. 17 For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please.

Matthew 6:25 Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?

Psalm 16:11 You will make known to me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; in Your right hand there are pleasures forever.

Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ Who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Romans 6:17-18 But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were entrusted. 18 You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.

May your testimony for the Lord bring you before kings and your witness in His kingdom place you before princes. 2 Kings 8

May God anoint you to pull down spiritual strongholds and cast down principalities of spiritual wickedness when the fullness of their time has arrived. 2 Kings 9

May you not rely on or trust in the truth when presented by the enemy of your soul, for it is not pure nor whole, but deceitful in purpose, as he is. Acts 16

May you be confident that drawing men from sin and teaching them the ways of God will cause others to revile you and attack you, but know that God is with you through it and will bring glory to His name as he rescues you and brings others to Himself. Acts 16

May you know that the consolations of God in your suffering for His name and gospel are neither small nor few, as you lift your heart and voice in praise to the Father regardless of your circumstances. Acts 16

What is the goal of your striving, My child? So many seek their own comfort, and pursue their own pleasure, attempting to achieve acceptance by others, not realizing that whatever can be gained in the world will be lost with the world.
In the marketplace of society, you can easily purchase the buttons and ribbons and clothing that declare what you want to say, without doing anything to live it out, and quickly change it all when a new style shows up.
Will you look further than the surface, listening closely for the quiet call, My inquisitive one? Only a few ever step past the loud merchants crowding the front of the marketplace, ignoring their distracting calls and claims, looking past the flashy, cheaply-made trinkets that promise instant results without effort, in order to seek out the quieter vendors who do not offer success and achievement.
These places offer the basic items which equip you for the work required to journey to where your heart’s desire will be found. Their proprietors understand the effort that is ahead, for they have made the pilgrimage and bear the marks of the trip. They only supply goods that have been tested and can hold up under the strain that will come. The items are not shiny, many are scuffed and dusty, but they are just as strong as ever, having suffered no damage in their use.
Will you put down your deposit for these goods, My yearning one? There is no purchase price, for you are only setting down your pride with your trinkets to take up some out-of-fashion goods. Though they fit well and move easily, they are often the butt of jokes out in the clangor and bustle of the rest of the marketplace.
There is little use for these items until you go out away from the crowd and start on the path that you are drawn to. You already know that these things will quickly bring you to a more solitary place, separate from so many things, but never isolated from the One Whom you seek.
Will you persist on the journey, My weary one? It is a long journey, but I will be with you the entire trip, covering every step of the way, becoming better known to you with each day’s travel. As you read and re-read My Word each day, you will gain greater understanding of the way you go and the difficulties along the path. The fellowship you feel as you encounter landmarks you recognize from My travels on this road will sustain you for the next stretch, but the joy that is promised when you reach the destination is the motivation that takes you through the roughest terrain.
Will you trust Me to carry you through, My steadfast one? Each step, each mile, each plateau, conforms you more closely to My image, transforming you so that others can see the change, though you often cannot. It is not by your effort, My precious one, but it is because of your effort that My Spirit is changing you from glory to glory, as you steadfastly love Me and faithfully follow My guidance, strengthening your relationship with Me in each active struggle and through every dull, weary, stretch of duty.
Thus, you will be like Me when you see Me, for I have granted you precious and magnificent promises, by which you may become a child of God, a partaker of My divine nature, escaping from the corruption that is in the world by lust. While on the road, through all the dust of traveling, you see dimly, yet once you arrive, you will see Me face-to-face, knowing Me fully, just as I know you.

May the Lord hear your prayer and listen to your cry for mercy, bringing you relief through His faithfulness and righteousness rather than in judgment for no one living is righteous before God. Psalm 143

May your soul thirst for God like a parched land, with your hands spread out in supplication to Him, when the enemy pursues you and crushes you to the ground, causing your heart within to be dismayed while your soul grows faint from dwelling in darkness like the dead, until you remember the days of long ago and consider what God’s hands have done as you meditate on all His works. Psalm 143

May you put your trust in the Lord lest you be like those who go down to the grave, for He will answer you quickly when your strength is fading and His face will shine upon you like the morning which brings you word of His unfailing love, lighting the way you should go as you lift up your soul to God in praise. Psalm 143

May you hide yourself in the Lord as He rescues you from your enemies, that you may learn to do the will of your God, allowing His Spirit in grace to lead you in the land of uprightness. Psalm 143

May you dedicate yourself to be a servant of the Most High God, so that for His name’s sake He will preserve your life, in His righteousness He will bring you out of trouble, and in His unfailing love He will silence all your enemies by destroying all His foes. Psalm 143

May you be encouraged and supported for doing what is just, righteous, and equitable in the Lord’s sight, lest the wicked bring harm to you for speaking the truth in love. Proverbs 17:26

Matthew 11:28 Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Psalm 103:13-14 As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him; 14 for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.

Ephesians 4:32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

2 Corinthians 9:10 [God] who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness.

Ephesians 1:18-19 I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe.

When you feel the enemy has you surrounded and outnumbered, trapped within walls with no way out, may God open the eyes of your spirit to see and realize that those who are for you are more than those who are against you. 2 Kings 6

May you accept the word of God that comes to your heart, and in faith prepare yourself to receive His promise, remaining constant in your daily duties until the time of its arrival. 2 Kings 7

May you cry aloud to the Lord, pouring out your complaint before Him as you tell Him your trouble, lifting your voice, for the Lord is full of mercy. Psalm 142

My child, do not fear to step out in obedience to Me. I know your frame and I am mindful that you are but dust. But remember, My dear one, that I am the One Who has taken that dust and formed you.
If you do not find within yourself any strength or wisdom, seeing only a trail behind you of failure, disappointments, unfinished work, projects left incomplete, promises that could not be kept, then turn to Me for in Me dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Commit your way to Me, trusting, not in yourself, but in Me and I will do it.
I will lead you in My righteousness because of those who oppose you, and I will make your way straight before Me as you acknowledge Me in all that you do. Cast all your worries and anxieties, all your cares and concerns, on Me, My precious one; for just as a father has compassion on his children so I have compassion on each one who approaches Me with reverent awe and respectful obedience.
I have sent My Comforter to abide with you and dwell in you. He reminds you of all I have said, teaching you all things, testifying about Me; you will hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left.
Your times are in My hand, My valiant one, and I will deliver you from the hand of My enemies and rescue you from those who persecute Me by coming against you, for I am with you always.

When you are overwhelmed by distress and losing hope from discouragement, may you understand that the Lord watches over your way, for no one you can turn to but God alone knows the way you should go to avoid the hidden snares and secret traps which the enemy lays to capture you. Psalm 142

When all others forsake you and forget you, may you know that the Lord is your refuge and will hear and answer your cry for He is your portion in the land of the living since He cares enough to have rescued you from the grave. Psalm 142

When the doubts and fears whispered to you by the enemy constrain your soul and restrain your heart, may your voice be free to cry to God and express your desperate need for rescue from those who are too strong for you, for God will hear and answer you when you call with your whole heart and set you free from the prison you are in, that you may praise His name with the righteous who will gather about you because of His goodness to you. Psalm 142

May the wisdom of the Lord be the focus of your attention, unlike foolish people who look only to earthly goals. Proverbs 17:24

May your humble obedience to, and willing worship of, the Lord bring joy to the Father and gladness in the Spirit. Proverbs 17:25

2 Corinthians 3:18 We all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Philippians 1:6 Paul wrote, “I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work among you will bring it to completion by the day of Jesus Christ.”

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 Chronicles 29:11 Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and the earth; Yours is the dominion, O LORD, and You exalt Yourself as head over all.

Ephesians 2:6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

Romans 8:17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

Philippians 3:8-9 that I may gain Christ, 9 and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own … but that which is through faith in Christ…

May you act in faith, and sin not with your mouth, as you seek God for the promise He has given you of your heart’s desire. 2 Kings 4

May you be settled in your heart regarding God’s daily provision of your own needs, and give yourself to strengthening the faith and building up the trust of others in God as you share the truth of God and point them to the love of God which will sustain them, even as it does you, for whom He feeds, He fills, and what He blesses, He sustains. 2 Kings 4

May you desire the health, and pray for the welfare, of those over you, as God’s hand extended, sharing His truth and demonstrating His love in all situations, so that His wisdom, when spoken as the Spirit directs, may be heard and not dismissed, not robbed of its power by ill-considered behavior. 2 Kings 5

May you be willing to hear the voice of God and may your heart be open to the leading of the Spirit when it comes, not dismissing its truth because of its source, but recognizing the witness of your spirit as it brings life at the point of your need. 2 Kings 5

May you be humble enough to approach God on the basis of your need, as is common to all people, rather than in your strength, by which none can stand before the Lord. 2 Kings 5

May you have grace toward others in those things through which God is walking them, for He knows the desire of each heart and sees the intent of each will, being patient with every one who desires Him more than the other, and extending grace to all who are drawing nearer to Him in the midst of their circumstances. 2 Kings 5

May you never presume to lie in your heart to the Holy Spirit of God, for that which is covered will be revealed, but that which is confessed will be cleansed and that which is repented of will be removed. 2 Kings 5

May you stand steadfast in the truth which you have learned, giving no room to the traditions you have been delivered from, defending those who are learning lest they be entrapped by others. Acts 15

May you walk in the freedom brought to you by the Spirit and live in the liberty purchased for you by the Son that you may be about the work of the kingdom as assigned to you by the Father. Acts 15

My child, are you willing?
When My Word becomes life to you in your heart, are you willing to obey and walk in it?
When My wisdom, with gentleness and acceptance, opens your understanding to the way to follow, are you willing to forsake other guides and road-maps to trust Me?
When My Spirit nudges you, whispering into your thoughts with loving persistence, showing you the way to go, are you willing to step out?
I do not ask you to determine whether you are able, My careful one, for you have already counted the cost when you accepted My gift of salvation. If you determined that the willing, sinless sacrifice of My blood for you was sufficient to release you from the weighty burden of guilt you carried, which nothing else could help, then why doubt or question whether I am able to meet your needs on the assignments I give you?
You will always find that you are not able. I would not give you an assignment that is within your ability and strength to accomplish on your own; where, then, would My glory be? If it can be done by your own strength, knowledge, skill, and understanding, then I did not assign it, and you will gain the glory for it among men, building your own reputation, which will perish with the world’s system, and bring no eternal reward.
Where I send you, I will work through you, My weak one, having also sent My Spirit to help in your weakness, to pray in ways you do not know, to fill you with all joy and peace in believing so that you will abound in hope, to banish the spirit of fear that preys on your frailty, and give you the confident assurance of adoption, knowing that you abide in Us and We abide in you, whereby you cry in faith, “Abba! Father!” with the conviction from Our heavenly love that your needs are abundantly and fully met as soon as you make them known.
When the tests loom large, My wondering child, learn to rejoice, for the testing of your faith leads to the maturity and calm patience that can receive the crown of life which is My promise to those who love Me.

May your voice call to the Lord, Who will come quickly and answer your plea for help. Psalm 141

May your prayer enter into His Presence and be accepted as sweet-smelling incense. Psalm 141

May your hands lift to the Lord in praise and be accepted like the evening sacrifice. Psalm 141

May your mouth receive a guard from the Lord, and a watch on the door of your lips. Psalm 141

May your heart turn to the Lord and not incline toward any evil thing or take part with troublemakers, but be consecrated wholly to God. Psalm 141

May your head accept the correction and reproof of righteousness as soothing medicine and anointing oil from the people of the Lord, and not refuse their act of faithful love and gracious kindness. Psalm 141

May your words stand continually strong in the Lord against evil deeds, for when the rulers of the wicked are restrained by your Rock they will know that God is confirming what you say. Psalm 141

May your eyes focus steadfastly on the Sovereign Lord in trust as you take refuge in Him Who is your shelter from the traps and snares set by the evil ones. Psalm 141

2 Corinthians 4:18 We fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Psalm 84:2 My soul longed and even yearned for the courts of the LORD.

Luke 6:45 The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart.

Proverbs 4:23 Watch over your heart with all diligence; for from it flow the springs of life.

May you seek the Lord with an eager heart to learn all that He would have you do, for He has a life-long work He wants to do in your heart. 2 Kings 3

May you willingly seek the Lord early, rather than be driven to it later by necessity. 2 Kings 3

May you prepare by faith for the promises of God and take action in obedience to be ready for His blessings. 2 Kings 3, 2 Kings 4

May you offer kindnesses and refreshing to those who come your way, laboring in the ministry of the Lord, for He knows the desires of your heart and the blessings of God will repay your faithful and humble service. 2 Kings 4

May you bring others the good news of the gospel, telling them to turn from worthless things to the living God, Who made heaven and earth and sea and everything in them. Acts 14

May you strengthen the disciples and encourage them to remain true to the faith as they go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God. Acts 14

My child, look unto your heart and know that it is turned toward Me in silence, listening, in patience, waiting. Do not seek to gain My approval for your plans, and do not try to shape Me to your desires.
I live within you, but I am not contained by you; you have been crucified with Me and it is no longer you that lives, but the life you now live in the flesh, is lived by faith in Me, for I have loved you and given Myself for you, dying so that your life may be hidden with Me in the Father.
Therefore, you are a new creation, and your old ways of living have passed away – the old methods of thinking and the old patterns of behaving; look for the new things to come.
Put on the mind of Christ, hear with the ears of the Spirit and understand with the heart of the Father, realizing that you have died to sin and are not required or expected to live in it any longer – you are freed from that lifestyle.
You are seated with Me in the heavenlies, as you live for Me on earth as an individual member of My Body, one in purpose and in motivation with the rest of My Body. I and My Father desire to dwell in you through the Spirit in order for the world to see your love one for another and believe that I have been sent by God.
Step aside from the tumult and turmoil of the world, stop speaking your own mind, and listen for the Father. Honor Him by giving your attention; lay down your agenda, empty your hands, your heart, and dwell on His goodness to you, filling your thoughts with quiet thanksgiving.
In due time He will respond, showing you what to do and giving you words to say, when you are resting quietly, contentedly, humbly, in His presence, reluctant to leave.

May the Lord rescue you from evil men and protect you from men of violence who devise evil plans in their hearts and stir up war every day with tongues sharp as serpents and a viper’s poison on their lips Psalm 140

May the Lord keep you from the hands of the wicked, protecting you from men of violence who plan to trip your feet with hidden snares and nets spread along your path. Psalm 140

May you say to the Lord, “You are my God,” as you cry for mercy to the Sovereign Lord, your strong Deliverer Who shields your head in the of battle, lest the wicked receive their desires and see their plans succeed. Psalm 140

May the Lord cover the heads of those attackers who surround you with the trouble their lips have caused, throwing them into the fire with burning coals and into miry pits, never to rise, and not let the accuser of the brethren be established in the land, but let disaster hunt down those who have given themselves to violence. Psalm 140

May you praise the Name of the Lord with the rest of the righteous and may you live before Him with all the upright, for the Lord secures justice for the poor and upholds the cause of the needy. Psalm 140

May God in His mercy replace a smitten and sorrowful spirit which drains your strength and give you a cheerful and joyful heart which promotes healing and a merry mind which makes age flourish. Proverbs 17:22

Psalm 93:4 Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea — the Lord on high is mighty.

Hebrews 12:9 We have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live!

Psalm 103:2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and do not forget all His benefits.

1 John 5:14-15 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of Him.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Ephesians 3:20-21 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

May you seek the Giver of life, that you may live. 2 Kings 1

May you humbly approach God in reverence and fear, realizing your personal inadequacies and fully aware that you represent no authority or power that can stand in the presence of the Creator of the universe, acknowledging His majesty in praise and worship before making your requests known. 2 Kings 1

May you follow the path of righteousness as the Spirit leads, never stopping when tired or turning back when struggling, but remaining focused amidst the distractions, knowing that you will receive the promise of God if you endure to the end. 2 Kings 2

May you bring the presence of God into every situation you are in, seeking His face and speaking His praise, changing the atmosphere as the light and the fragrance of God is imparted to those around you through the power of the Spirit and the love of the Son, sweetening bitterness in relationships and make barren hearts productive. 2 Kings 2

May you teach the young by example to respect all and honor those who are occupied with showing compassion to those God loves, so that the ones who will listen may preserve their lives. 2 Kings 2

My child, know that My abundance is available for the asking, My wisdom is provided freely when requested, My gifts are given without repentance, and My strength is within reach of all.
My disciples preached salvation through My name first to the Jews at Jerusalem, the chosen, the ones who bore My name, before ever going to the Gentiles. Many Jews received Me in faith and rejoiced, but those who rejected Me were often the ones whose earthly needs were so well-supplied through entrenched tradition that they could not see the spiritual needs they shared in common with all people. I was then received gladly by the Gentiles who knew they were in bondage and rejoiced to see My light in their darkness.
Even so today, My hard worker, you find many who are called by My name rejoicing to find that a deeper walk with Me is available, but so many who profit from the form and tradition that has been established around My truth refuse to see their own need, not realizing they are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked in their spiritual walk. Those appointed to salvation have often been mistreated and rejected by the world system, pushed to the fringes, hungering and seeking for more than they could find in tradition.
Do not be blinded by your natural sight, My dear one, but learn to see as I see, understand with My understanding, and recognize the seeker for My truth within the battered frame before you. Learn to trust My Spirit when you hear the whisper and feel the nudge to speak to someone who has followed a different path than you and bears the marks of their journey. They have stepped through doors you have eschewed, and can reach others who will not listen to you.
Do not call common or reject as impure those who are heeding My call and seeking My path. I have accepted them, and who can gainsay My choice?

May your words be sweet and your heart toward God, so that when God moves in a new way, you will not be found resisting the Lord or following the flesh. Acts 13

May you be filled with the strength of His joy and the power of the Spirit when following Christ in the discipline He leads you through. Acts 13

May you speak boldly in favor of the Lord when you minister in the face of opposition, for He will confirm the message He gives you with signs and wonders, polarizing the people who hear. Acts 14

May the Lord search you and know you, from your sitting down to your rising up, when you are traveling and when you are at home, perceiving your thoughts from afar, and understanding all your ways intimately, knowing your intentions completely before you say a word or take an action, for you are the apple of His eye, and He desires to be known by you even as He knows you. Psalm 68:4-5 Sing unto God, sing praises to His name: extol Him that rideth upon the heavens by His name Jah, and rejoice before Him. 5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in His holy habitation.

1 Peter 4:10 Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received.

Matthew 6:20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Job 2:10 Will we receive good from God but not also receive bad?

Isaiah 8:17 I will wait for the Lord, … I will put my trust in Him.

May your fellowship with the wayward not extend to include their ways. 1 Kings 22

May you minister in love to the material needs of those God brings to you before you speak His truth in kindness to minister to their spiritual needs. 1 Kings 22

May you walk in the grace of God, restrained and motivated by the Word of God, so you will respond from the Spirit when attacked in the flesh, for the sinful nature is always hostile toward God. 1 Kings 22, Romans 8

May you know that, though you are basely used by the wayward, God’s judgments against their sin are inescapable apart from repentance. 1 Kings 22

May you do good in the eyes of the Lord, not following the ways of those who do evil by causing others to sin, but serve and worship the Lord God Almighty, knowing that the enemy of your soul will be provoked to anger. 1 Kings 22

May your ministry be of Christ, Who was crucified by men, buried by friends, and resurrected by God, giving victory over death and the hope of eternal life. Acts 13

May you first know, and second share, the forgiveness of sin through faith in Christ’s atonement without injury to God’s honor, and the justification from guilt, which the law gave awareness of, but the gospel gives atonement for. Acts 13

My child, the enemy desires to separate you from Me as a farmer sifts the husks from the grain, but know, My precious one, that I am in charge of the flail and I control the winnowing basket. Be assured that the chaff will be burned in My fire, but not the least grain of My harvest shall fall to the ground to be lost.
There is much separation going on in your life, My dear one. I have spoken of it, and it must come to pass. In the field of your heart, My enemy sowed tares, and you have struggled to know why the springs of your soul bring forth both fresh water and salt. The growing season is not the time of separation; the harvest is the time appointed.
The husks and chaff are those who have no grounding, who have sought the entertainment and joys of the flesh and emotions; but as you have sought Me, you have formed full, solid grains that will not be blown about by every wind of doctrine which scatters.
I have been drawing you by My Spirit to a closer walk, a deeper relationship, a more intimate knowledge of Me, not just knowing My acts, My near one, but understanding My ways. You have responded, My eager one, by growing and maturing, storing up the richness of My Word and gathering the strength and life of My Spirit, ripening into a bountiful harvest that I can rejoice over.
There is, at the same time, a separation among the people in your life, My caring one, for though I have allowed the young plants to grow mixed in the field, those who have chosen repeated and persistently to reject My water of life and My sun of strength, are destined for separation, binding, and burning.
The grief in your heart for those headed that way is My grief, My sorrowful one. Allow it to express itself in tears and sorrow, with intercession and prayers for mercy and grace, knowing it is My Spirit crying through you in effectual, fervent prayer, for in this manner will the last harvest be the greatest, and many will be saved, as by fire.
All who will receive Me will be kept, for they are precious to Me, just as you are. No more than a shepherd would lose a sheep, a jeweler a single diamond, or a mother one of her children, however many she has, so I gather each of you under My wings in love.
Do not let the striking of the flail be a terror to you, nor the ups and downs of life which blow the chaff from you. Cleansing is needed, My love, but as you cling to Me, you are in no danger.

May you praise the Lord, the Almighty God, with all your heart and sing praise to Him before those mighty in the world and possessing authority among men, bowing down in worship to the Father Who, through His love, has defeated all His foes and, through His faithfulness, has rescued you from the grave, for He has exalted above all things His Name and His Word, making you bold and stouthearted when you call upon Him. Psalm 138

May the words you speak unto the kings of the earth about the glory of God bring forth praise from them to the Lord, Who is great. Psalm 138

May you walk before the Lord, Who is on high, in humility, for He looks with favor upon the lowly, though the proud He knows from afar. Psalm 138

May the Lord preserve your life, though you walk in the midst of trouble, for He stretches out His hand against the anger of His foes and will save you by His right hand. Psalm 138

May the Lord fulfill His purpose for you, for the love of the Lord endures forever and He will not abandon the works of His hands. Psalm 138

Even as you have found Christ to be the Friend Who is always loyal, loving at all times and closer than a brother in times of adversity, may you express the same bonds of love, compassion, grace, and acceptance to those who need it, as He leads you and works through you. Proverbs 17:17

May you look to God for wisdom in your decisions and compassion in your actions, seeking the way which leads to life and not relying on your own understanding of good and evil. Proverbs 17:18

Psalm 128:1-2 Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him. 2 You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.

2 Corinthians 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,

May you be willing to let God work in new ways in your life, taking a different approach than normal, relying on the untried and untested, that He may reveal Himself Lord, strong and in control. 1 Kings 20

May you understand that if you take up the name of God and bear it before the world, He will defend His reputation against the outside attacks of the enemy, and will also purge you of all that is not of Him, for He is holy, and will not allow His name to be handled unworthily. 1 Kings 20

May you fully obey the Lord in the battle for your soul, leaving nothing undone that He has spoken, and yielding fully to the purging of your heart as you surrender to His love, releasing all to Him that you may receive all from Him. 1 Kings 20

May you be content with that which God had allotted you, whether it be a palace or a prison, for that honors God, and frees you from the grip of vexation and anxiety, leaving no entry for the enemy to attack. 1 Kings 21

May you commit the keeping of your life, and living, to God, trusting Him to safeguard you from evil and uninformed zeal, knowing any injustice will be used to His glory and the strengthening of His kingdom. 1 Kings 21

May you not consider the one who brings you the rebuke of God’s word to be an enemy or adversary as Ahab did, but accept the word with repentance and the messenger with honor as David did. 1 Kings 21, 2 Samuel 12

My child, remember, it is My will that shall be established on earth, just as it is in heaven. My Holy Spirit is given to you that you may have a teacher Who will show you how to align your will to Mine, and comfort you in the process as you experience the trials and tribulations of being at cross-purposes with the world’s system.
My promises are fulfilled in Christ, and as you leave behind the former lusts and appetites, which were yours in ignorance, and grow into maturity to bear My image, taking your place in My Body, you realize and receive the benefits of those promises.
Do not think it is for your personal rescue and ease of discomfort that the might of the legions of angels will be turned, or that the consequences of poor judgment and bad choices will be erased without turning a hair, for walking that out is the time of the most useful training and most effective learning, My special one. The bruises to your ego and the sprains to your pride are moments of clarity and times of choices.
However, know with certainty, My dear one, that none of the bones of your character, faith, or hope, or love, will be broken but, instead, will grow stronger. The times of silence between My promise revealed and My promise received are times of discipline and duty, not of displeasure.
My kingdom principle is still the same as when My servant, Paul, wrote in his letter, “I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” Just as when I walked the earth in flesh, it is the principle of love to empty yourself and accept the will of the Father over your own, considering that the sufferings of this present time of learning and growing and working are not worthy to be compared with the glory that I will reveal in you.
Then all the forces of heaven and authority from the throne will be available to meet the responsibilities of the assignments from the Father, for I have chosen you from before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless before Me in love.

May the Word of God flourish and multiply in your life, renewing your mind and cleansing your heart, strengthening all who share your company. Acts 12

May the Spirit of God sanctify you for the work to which God has called you, making you both able in His power and willing in your heart. Acts 13

May you be ready and willing to speak the truth in love, as guided by the Spirit, and not in the passion of the flesh, allowing the Spirit of God to touch each heart in the way needed to achieve His redemptive purpose in their lives. Acts 13

May you steadfastly rejoice in the Lord through your suffering, giving God the freedom to complete His work in you and bring defeat and vengeance to His enemies, resolutely relying on His grace to bring you through into the victory of His kingdom. Psalm 137

May you never forget the Lord, Who dwells in the city of God, and may you consider it your highest joy to dwell with Him in the presence of God. Psalm 137

May you have a heart for learning and a desire to get wisdom from the Lord, for He gives generously to all who ask, without finding fault or criticizing Proverbs 17:16, James1

Though you may fear for your life when the enemy threatens, may God provide you strength and meet with you in a quiet place, hearing you and giving you wisdom, understanding, and direction, not allowing you to be distracted by outside events. 1 Kings 19

May you know with certainty that honest work and hard labor does not disqualify you from God’s calling, for if your heart is open to Him, you will recognize His voice when He speaks to you, so seek Him daily, draw near through His Word and pray without ceasing lest you be distracted and inattentive when the moment comes. 1 Kings 19

May you be willing to accept the call and anointing of God when it comes, embracing the changes and counting the cost as not being worthy to be compared to the glory which is soon to be manifested in you. 1 Kings 19, Romans 8

May you be confident in the Lord, trusting His care and provision, accepting His will and purpose for you, even when circumstances constrain you, for through the grace of the Father and the prayers of the saints, you will be brought out into a broad and open place where you can stand firm in the Lord and be about the Lord’s business. Acts 12

My child, I have opened the way for you to come before the Father. The separating walls have been removed, the obscuring veil has been rent, the forbidding statutes have been fulfilled, that you may approach the mercy seat and find grace to help in times of need, joy to strengthen in times of fellowship, and authority to overcome in times of battle. Do not back off or be reticent to approach, for you are fully accepted in Me, the Beloved of the Father. You are clothed in My righteousness, which is not of obedience to the law, but of faith in Me; you are right that you have not earned it, but only pride would insist that you must.
Humble yourself as a servant, acknowledge you own nothing of worth and possess nothing of value, and that the only things you have which are of any use come from your Lord and Master; then realize that because all which you have has come from Me, the salvation, the redemption, the sanctification, the faith, the fruit of the Spirit, the righteousness, the armor and weapons, the wisdom and understanding, you have the best, the strongest, the most efficacious there is in heaven and earth and under the earth. There is no place for proud refusal or false modesty, simply honest acceptance and obedient progress.
Just as the moon willingly uses the light of the sun to have dominion over the night, so My Body, and each member individually, faithfully stewards the light of My grace with those in need, and the radiance of My glory to push back the works of darkness, not claiming it as your own, or trying to hold on it for later, for the sun has no shortage of light.
My love for you, My child, is not based on performance. You are of Me, My precious one, created in My heart, shaped by My hands, ever in My thoughts. Even if a mother could forget her child, still I could not forget you or stop caring for you. Trust Me for My promises toward you, even as you have accepted My works for you. I do not change, and My compassion for you will never die. All that I am, king, priest, prophet, shepherd, captain, physician, even man, is for you and to your benefit. Do not hesitate to call on Me for all you need, and keep calling as often as you need, for there is no one who cares for you as I do.

May you give thanks to the Lord for He is good and His love endures forever. Psalm 136

May you humbly revere and respectfully obey the One who destroyed the strength of the world’s system in your life and redeemed you out of it with a mighty hand and outstretched arm, making a way where there was no way and leading you through it, closing off and cutting free all ties with the enemy which tried to reclaim you. Psalm 136

May you joyfully and gratefully follow your Commander, the Captain of the hosts of heaven, into battle as He trains you in the desert, striking down great powers and disarming mighty principalities, giving you His victory as your inheritance, making you more than a conqueror. Psalm 136

May you walk in the temperance and self-control of the Spirit, demonstrating the meekness and humility of a child of God about his Father’s business, for against the fruit of the Spirit there is no law. Proverbs 17:14

May you walk in agreement with the judgment of God, for two cannot walk together except they be agreed. Proverbs 17:15

May you gladly honor the Father as He requires, in discipline denying the flesh’s appetites, in worship speaking words of praise and affection to the King, in faith deeply desiring to bear the image of the Son of God, in obedience expressing His love for the souls of all people, in humility seeking the glory of God and the good of His people. 1 Kings 18

May you seek the Lord as you serve Him, trusting He will answer your obedience, so that the people will know that He, the Lord, is God and that He is turning their hearts back to Him. 1 Kings 18

My child, the called are many, but the chosen are few. You know tales of those who heard and heeded the call of the sea or the call of the wilderness, the call to battle or the call to service; the only ones who hear those calls are those whose spirit, or nature, identifies with, and resonates to, what is calling.
My call, however, expresses My nature, not yours, and comes to you in undeniable, manifold witness through many channels, isolated from each other, known, heard, and received only by you, the one it is directed to, and is unrelated to your qualifications, experience, or temperament.
As you submit to My call, yielding obediently to the Spirit, you find that the expression of My call in your life is in a different direction than you would have selected, for the way you have gone before is the way of the carnal mind, which is enmity to the Spirit and caters to your fleshly comfort. The way My calling leads you is one that brings Me glory while denying the frantic warnings and urgent pleadings of your own earthly understanding and experience.
Once you settle in your mind that I, the Lord, am leading you in love and guarding you in grace, you find that the intrinsic, basic, often suppressed and ignored, needs and innate yearnings of your spirit are satisfied in ways you have never known before by the expression of My compassion and righteousness through the ministry I bring you by the Holy Spirit.
I call forth that which I have formed in you, and you find that I have placed abilities, shaped talents, and given gifts within your spirit and soul that have never been expressed in this way until My redemption restored them to their intended use and original purpose under My will and to My praise and glory.
“Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they exist, and were created.” Revelation 4:11

May you not be nearsightedly critical of abandoned traditions and broken boundaries when God’s mercy and grace has overflowed them, sweeping them away to show His love to others in new and bountiful ways. Acts 11

May you rejoice when others gladly receive God’s truth, though you would not have chosen them, and God’s blessings richly embrace those you would not have selected, and His power is seen in the lives of those you thought were beyond His reach. May you embrace the love of God which brings unity among the diversity of His Body. Acts 11

May you praise the name of the Lord as you minister in the house of the Lord as servants to the people of the Lord, for the Lord is good and it is pleasant to sing praise to His Name, the One Who has chosen us for His own, His treasured possession. Psalm 135

May you know that the Lord is great, high above all other powers and principalities, and He does what He wills, doing what pleases Him in the heavens, on the earth, and in the seas and their depths, sending His servants the clouds, the winds, and the lightning with the rain from His storehouse to execute judgments of His mercy to lift up the downtrodden and His grace to humble the haughty. Psalm 135

May you receive the vindication of the Lord to His people and God’s compassion on His servants wherein He has destroyed the strength of the world through His signs and wonders, and struck down the nations, consuming the enemies of God, which exalted themselves against the glory of God, giving the territory they controlled back to His people as their eternal inheritance. Psalm 135

May you praise the Lord with reverential awe and respectful obedience to the One Who is in Zion, dwelling in Jerusalem. May you spurn the idols of the nations, made of silver and gold by the hands of men, unable to speak, see, or hear, and completely without the breath of life, for those who trust them will be like them. Psalm 135

May you set a watch on your emotions and a guard over your passions, walking in the wisdom of God and the understanding of the Lord, lest you give free rein to your carnal nature and cause more harm than a mother bear robbed of her cubs. Proverbs 17:12

May you return good for evil, blessing for cursing, showing and sharing the compassion of God the Father, for those who need it the most often seem to us to deserve it the least; then God’s favor will abide on your house. Proverbs 17:13
