Mark 1:35 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.

Psalm 92:1-2 It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to your name, O Most High; 2 to declare your steadfast love in the morning, and your faithfulness by night.

Matthew 6:33 Strive first for the kingdom of God…and all these things will be given to you as well.

Romans 5:10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life!

Numbers 6:24-26 The LORD bless you, and keep you; 25 The LORD make His face shine on you, and be gracious to you; 26 The LORD lift up His countenance on you, and give you peace.

May the Lord God keep forever the promises He has made concerning you, His servant, doing as He has promised so that His name will always be great, for He is God and His words, in which He has promised good things to you, are trustworthy. 2 Samuel 7

May the Lord provide a place for you and plant you so that you can have a home of your own and no longer be disturbed or oppressed by wicked foes, and bring the redemption of God to those who have been kept in bondage and made to serve their evil masters, giving you rest from all your enemies. 2 Samuel 7

May the Lord give you victory wherever you serve. 2 Samuel 8

May you walk before the Lord in obedience, always seeking His face and desiring to do for His people what is just and right. 2 Samuel 8

May you love the Lord by obeying what He commands, for because He lives, you also will live, and He and the Father will live in you as the Spirit of truth resides with you forever. John 14

May you not let your heart be troubled or be afraid, for the Lord gives you His peace, leaving it with you as you reside in the world. John 14

Walk with Me in the marketplace, My child, as the servant of a rich man would.
Follow Me as I go where I will, from one to another in the crowded, busy market-square of life, stopping at one stall, moving to another, halting before a mendicant, then moving on, speaking to all, greeting many as well-known, addressing others with introductions.
As a loyal servant, you do not set the course, but you obediently follow Me, keeping a close eye on Me, staying near lest anyone or anything come between us, preventing you from hearing My command and obeying My desire.
As I lead you through the marketplace, I carry nothing but give to you, My servant, a bag to carry, already full and heavy. It is filled with My riches, My treasure, for who goes to the market place with empty hands?
You wait as I stop and speak to one, and listening, you hear Me say to give this person a particular coin or a specific gem or a beautiful ornament of worked gold. In obedience, you reach in the bag you carry for me and find that particular item is there, ready to be given to the individual at My command.
It matters not whether the person receiving the priceless treasure is a rich and well-known merchant or prince, or if they are a beggar who has just recently arrived at the marketplace; you are not called on to judge the worthiness of the recipient, but only to obey your Master.
When you were first given this duty, you tried to understand the reason and logic of where I would go and what I would direct you to give and who would receive the treasures you carried. But as you simply obey, not leaning on your own understanding, you learn that My directions can always be trusted because you have seen the benefits that result. There is no mistaking the change in the lives, the improvement that is shown, the gratitude that is expressed to Me when I stop to see someone again later.
Rejoice, My careful one, and be at peace, knowing that the treasure I give you to carry is not your responsibility. Simply obey Me, and share the joy of the life that results in others as you give freely at My command.

May you obey with all your heart the decrees that the Lord teaches you about and keep to the end the law that the Lord gives you understanding of. Psalm 119

May the Lord walk with you in the delightful path of His commands, turning your whole heart eagerly toward His statutes and your eyes away from vanity and worthless things like selfish gain, fulfilling His promise to revive you and quicken you in a new life and vigorous health, according to His word. Psalm 119

May the Lord confirm His word and fulfill His promise to you so that He may receive the respect, reverent fear, and devoted worship of many, by delivering you from the shame, reproach, and disgrace you dread and renewing and refreshing your life in His righteousness and justice, since you long for His guiding principles which are excellent. Psalm 119

May you lean on, rely in, and trust the promise of the Word of the Lord, and receive the faithful mercies and unfailing love of His salvation, for then you can answer the one who taunts and reproaches you with insults, lies and doubts, bringing into subjection to Christ every stray and passing thought which exalts itself against the knowledge of God. Psalm 119, 2 Corinthians 10

May you seek out, inquire for, and desperately require His truth and His promises, continually hearing, receiving, loving and obeying His law, speaking His testimonies boldly and without shame before principalities and powers, so that the Lord will establish His word in your mouth and grant you to walk in the freedom of His Spirit. Psalm 119

May you walk in the fear of the Lord, which is the discipline leading to wisdom, and the awe of the Lord, which provides the instruction of life, for just as Jesus walked meekly through His life on earth, knowing that His glory was ahead of Him, so do we walk in humility through testing and trying, for the Father will bestow honor on us in due time. Proverbs 15:33

Philippians 2:5-8 Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who… 8 humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

May you trust and rely on the Lord alone to fulfill His promises, worshiping where He has placed you and obeying what He has commanded you, withholding your hand from grasping what God has said is yours, and not seeking or rewarding the arm of man who would act, or the wisdom of man who would scheme, to achieve the goal you desire. 2 Samuel 4

May you know that the blessings of God and His answers to prayer in your life are to establish you for the sake of your testimony and witness to others, that they may be drawn into the kingdom of God and know the salvation of the Lord as you lift Him up and make much of Him. 2 Samuel 5

May you always seek the Lord to know His heart and to hear His voice, never resting on past experiences, for He is an eternally creative God and has countless ways in which to glorify Himself, if you will but hear what He says. 2 Samuel 5

May you celebrate before the Lord, willing to become even more undignified in true worship as you honor and proclaim His magnificence, losing yourself before the awesomeness of the Lord God Almighty Who has reclaimed you unto Himself, forgiving your sins, healing your diseases, redeeming your life, crowning you with love, satisfying your desires, renewing your youth, bestowing compassion on you, and remembering His covenant with you. 2 Samuel 6

May you love others just as Christ, without reservation or judgment, has loved you, for by this will all men know that you are His disciple, and they will see the Father for themselves. John 13

May you not let your heart be troubled, but trust in the Father even as you have trusted in Jesus, for even as He has gone away to prepare a place for you, so shall He certainly return to take you with Him to that prepared place. John 14

May you have faith in Jesus, for as He has gone to the Father, you will do the same things, and greater, that Jesus did as training and demonstration to us, that we may be encouraged to seek the Father’s heart and mind, doing what we see Him doing and saying what we hear Him saying, through the Spirit of God which has been sent to bring us into all truth with power to be witnesses unto all people for the glory of the Father. John 14

Walk by My Spirit, My child, lest you carry out the desire of the flesh and grieve the Holy Spirit of God by Whom you have been sealed for the day of redemption.
Walk with the angel of My presence, My afflicted one, for with Him you will find My love and My mercy, and He will lift and carry you to the fulfillment of My redemption.
Accept the ministration of the Helper Whom My Father has sent in My Name, My searching one, for He will teach you all things and bring to remembrance all that I say to you. Thereby you will have the assurance that you abide in Me, and I in you, for the Spirit has been given as an indication of how earnest I am in keeping My promise to you.
Follow the directions and guidance of the Spirit, My dedicated one, for He leads you where the Father has designated for you to go. Though at times He will lead you into sorrow and repentance, difficulty and challenge, fasting and weeping, mourning and fearful reverence, I will always be there to strengthen you and bring peace to your heart. He prompts you to seek God before destruction arrives, whether on a personal level or a grander scale, for there is work that must be done before darkness falls, when no man can work.
Know, My willing one, that those who go forth weeping, sowing good seed with tears will return in the light of day with shouts of joy bearing the sheaves of the harvest.

May God strengthen you according to His word when your soul is weary with sorrow, and be gracious to you through His law as you abstain from deceitful ways, since you have chosen the way of truth and set your heart on His laws, holding fast to the Lord’s statutes and running in the path of His commands, therefore He has set your heart free from all shame. May you accept correction given in love and heed life-giving reproof, even as the wise do. Proverbs 15:31

Hear Me, My child, as I speak words of strength and of comfort to you, drawing you into My presence, shutting away the world and its distractions.
Do not fear that the events of the day will tumble out of control if you fail to keep an eye on them; know that I will keep the world on an even keel while you are ensconced in My Spirit and embraced in My love. Turn the eyes of your heart upon Me, My love, and gaze steadily upon Me so that you may know the truth and the depth of My desire for you, personally.
Let the reality of My passion for you sink into your heart and mind, that you may be willing to return that love, reflecting the same devotion back to Me, releasing the ties you have to things and activities in the ever-changing, always-shifting seasons and styles of the world.
Do not merely know of Me, My seeking one, depending on what others have said about Me. Rather, take this opportunity to know Who I am for yourself, directly from Me, hearing the truth in your heart and seeing the reality in My face.
Let My love strengthen you, for I have work to do in your life, cleansing to accomplish that requires your cooperation. There is cleansing needed in the temple of your heart, which was created as My dwelling place, but which has been infiltrated by other powers.
I have made you righteous in the sight of God, accepted in the Beloved, and I wish to see you resting comfortably in My Spirit, at peace in your relationship with Me, moving with confidence in the power of My Word. For this reason, I am guiding you, training you, emboldening you to wage war on the strongholds that remain in your life.
I am with you, My precious one, every step of the way, and will show you just who you are in Me, and to Me.

Habakkuk 3:17-18 Though the fig tree does not blossom, and no fruit is on the vines; though the produce of the olive fails, and the fields yield no food; though the flock is cut off from the fold, and there is no herd in the stalls, 18 yet I will rejoice in the Lord.

Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

Galatians 5:22-23 the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

May you sorrow over the loss of any of God’s people, understanding the love of the Father for all, desiring as He does that none should perish. 2 Samuel 1

May you wait patiently, occupying each day with all that God brings you, trusting God to fulfill His promises, moving only when God directs, going only where He leads, stopping where He says stop, for in obedience to the Lord is valuable training for the future. 2 Samuel 2

May you follow Jesus so that you may serve Him, for where He is, His servants will be also, and the Father will honor all who serve His Son. John 12

May you willingly give yourself to the Sower as a seed, dying to your solitary seed nature, gladly growing where you are planted, that as your nature changes and Christ grows in and through you, many more seeds will be produced through the death and loss of your original solitary seed nature. John 12

May your heart be toward God, and desirous of His truth, that your spirit may be quickened to hear His voice at the times that others would only hear thunder. John 12

May you hear the Word of the Lord and believe, not only in Jesus but in the Father, for when you look to the Son, you are seeing the Father, Who sent the Son to be a light that you would not need to stay in darkness. John 12

The trial of your faith, My child, is in My hands, and is done by My love for you.
What comes upon you, I allow, though I do not send. I set the boundaries, My love, allowing nothing to touch you without permission, and making preparation for you in everything that I allow.
I am the Lord, and no mere mortal; therefore I am drawing you upward and transforming you into My image. I am leading you in the right way, though you may wonder, at times, whether you have gotten off the proper trail.
When the strength and hope of yesterday are lost in the gloom and shadow that cover the sky and fill the valley today, know in your heart that the eclipsing of your faith and the fainting of your hope are as much a part of My method of maturing and stabilizing you in My Spirit as the lifting of your head and expanding of your heart. I am readying you for the inheritance that has been prepared for you.
Follow My lead, My dear one, for I will continually bless and keep you in peace in every circumstance, if you will but listen for My voice speaking comfort to your heart. Even through the gusty darkness of the storm, My face constantly shines on you with grace and favor you can see, if you look with My eyes for it.
Do not be distracted by what is occurring, My precious pearl, but as you do what is needed, always keep that one primary focus and concern on the only thing which is necessary – that which Mary sought, and which was never taken from her, though her sister, Martha, complained.
There is much tribulation in the world, for all are searching for your sin to condemn you. The enemy, other people, even your own conscience will seek to tear you down and steal your peace; however, I do not keep records of offenses forgiven nor do I allow grievances to be filed on them.
Though I convict you of sin, once you turn to Me, I issue a full pardon and expunge the records, for My atonement and absolution is not merely royal, but is divine.

Isaiah 65:17 See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.

Matthew 6:10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Psalm 112:1,3,9 Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his commandments!… 3 Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever.… 9 He has distributed freely; he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn is exalted in honor.

Psalm 68:3-4 But let the [uncompromisingly] righteous be glad; let them be in high spirits and glory before God, yes, let them [jubilantly] rejoice! 4 Sing to God, sing praises to His name, cast up a highway for Him Who rides through the deserts—His name is the Lord–be in high spirits and glory before Him!

As you devote yourself to the Lord to the fullest extent you can, and seek His guidance in the midst of turmoil and upheaval, may you trust in God to control the circumstances and the opinions around you in the way He chooses, accepting with humble obedience the turn of events as being from His hand for your good, and always remain attentive in your heart toward His Spirit. 1 Samuel 29

When the attacks of the enemy appear overwhelming and total, may you find strength in the Lord your God as you turn to Him for direction. 1 Samuel 30

May you always consider the condition of others as you go along your way, and show mercy when the need arises, giving compassion even where it does not appear you can be repaid, for the Lord will show you His favor as you show others His grace. 1 Samuel 30

May you trust in the promises you have received of God when you sought Him for direction, and know that even when your material resources are diminished, it is the hand of God that will be working to bring you the victory, though the battle lasts long, so that glory will be received by the Lord of lords. 1 Samuel 30

May you be determined in your heart and set in your will to persist in the battle until the victory is complete when you consider what the enemy has stolen, and how the captives are being treated. 1 Samuel 30

May you be generous with God’s abundant blessings and gracious to those within your influence, slighting none for lack of ability or involvement, but being fair and even-handed whether their influence can be helpful or not. 1 Samuel 30

May you recognize the paramount need to fear God rather than man, for man can only destroy the body, as they did with Jesus, whereas God is able to raise the body, incorruptible, if you have followed Him in truth and spirit, or destroy both body and soul, if you have rejected His salvation to seek after others. 1 Samuel 31

May you know that a kindness done in humility and purity of heart will be returned, for God will not overlook those who walk in the Spirit of His Son. 1 Samuel 31

May you willingly prepare yourself to meet with the Lord, voluntarily seeking and submitting to the cleansing and purifying of the Spirit Who advises and counsels the Bride on how to approach and please the King. John 11

May you not walk in your carnal understanding to follow the instruction of the Lord, lest you do in the natural what He has spoken about the spiritual, for Martha did not stop serving, she simply stayed closer to listen, and no longer criticized Mary. John 12

May you be willing to pour upon Christ, the Anointed One, the richest of praise and most precious of worship from within your heart and out of the depths of your spirit, for by doing so, you will change the atmosphere around you. John 12

May you have the grace to see that those who obediently serve or work in ways different than you do are still providing acceptable service to the King. John 12

Do not disdain the simplicity of My way, My child. Do not dress it up in vanity or adorn it with what looks “right.” Time is short for the harvest, and you need merely to thrust the sickle in to gather My own to Me.
Lift Me up, My wavering worker, speak of Me, make much of Me, adore Me as My love for you prompts, for the undecided one to whom I have led you needs only to look unto Me to be saved. For so long they have looked elsewhere, and now I have brought you to them to point to Me, in simplicity rather than theology, in truth rather than tradition.
No exhausting preparation or fierce effort of will is needed, sparkling wit and overwhelming wisdom are not requirements; simply a pointing finger to know where to look, for the Spirit is upon you to anoint both – on you to testify and the other to receive the faith to believe.
Not all will respond, but all will be given the opportunity to hear and chose. Any rejection is not rejecting you, but is rejecting Me, so do not close down your heart or harden your soul against the pain, for I will not.
I will remain vulnerable despite the suffering of so many rejections by so many whom I love, and for whom I have done so much to rescue them from the destruction they have chosen. They need only to look to Me at any time before their final heartbeat, and I will receive them, so I will not turn My back on any who remain uncertain and undecided in their heart.
You will not know them by their actions, My precious one, but I know them each by their hearts. Do not let the ferocity of their words or the violence of their actions dissuade you, My willing one, for many broken and seeking hearts are defended by harsh and defensive outer shells. But My Spirit has full access to their hearts to speak whispers of love that they long to believe, needing only the testimony of your words to provide the witness they need to break through into the life of My salvation.
Speak My simple words of truth, My love, nothing more is needed.

May you watch for opportunities of service, allowing the Spirit to lead you to the ones He is directing you to, involving yourself in those of the most immediate need as the highest priority. John 12

May you honor the King for the works of the kingdom, letting your heart be drawn to know Him personally, lest you find yourself resisting the change He brings as He causes tradition to fall by fulfilling the forms that have been followed for so long. John 12

May you learn the word of God, reading it all and storing it in your memory, though understanding does not immediately follow, for as you bring in the summer and fall produce, storing it for winter, you will gain the wisdom from the Spirit to rightly divide the Word of Truth when the need arises. John 12

May you give thanks to the Lord, for He is good and His love endures forever. Psalm 118

May you cry to the Lord when you are in anguish because He will answer by setting you free, for who can be afraid when the Lord is with them – what can man do to you? Psalm 118

May you take refuge in the Lord and forsake any trust you put in man, even in princes. Psalm 118

May the Lord, Who is your strength and your song, your very salvation, help you when you are pushed back and about to fall, for though the powers which are against the Lord surround you like bees, you cut them off in the name of the Lord and they die out as quickly as burning thorns. Psalm 118

May shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous, proclaiming that the Lord’s right hand, lifted high, has done mighty things! Psalm 118

May the thoughts of your mind be pure and the words of your mouth be pleasant so that they may show the grace of God and be confirmed by the Lord as He takes delight in them. Proverbs 15:26

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Matthew 6:31-33 So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ 32 These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. 33 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously,

Psalm 31:7 I will rejoice and be glad in Your steadfast love, because You have seen my affliction; You have taken note of my life’s distresses.

May you seek to obey God with a pure heart, not double-minded in your ways, shunning evil in your heart before addressing it elsewhere. 1 Samuel 28

Turn your strong desires and longings to Me, My love, and let them draw you ever closer to Me.
Do not turn away, attempting to hide or suppress your feelings, My dear one, for these are of Me; I am your Creator and have formed your very substance, shaping you as I chose. I bear the responsibility for who you are. Though the enemy seeks to stain your form and misapply your function, he only has lies to achieve his purpose.
Draw near to Me, My selected one, and let the light of My truth drive away darkness, bringing forth integrity for your heart to heal by and truth for your mind to stand on.
Whatever the foe of God has pointed to in your life and has declared a purpose for will have a different but valid service in My kingdom to perform; the enemy seeks to besmirch that which I have formed for noble and gracious purposes.
Your longing and your hunger is purposed to be met by Me and to draw you to Me, even though the father of lies works his hardest to make you view it as something to repress and deny by naming it falsely.
Let My Spirit give you the courage to bring your heart and your mind into My light and know the truth of how I love you, accepting you as you are. Discover the joys of My presence and the benefits of submission to Me.

May you believe the Lord to the point of obedience and take action on His Word in faith so that many will see the glory of God, even as they took the stone away at His command when He raised Lazarus from the grave. John 11

May you praise the Lord among the nations and extol Him among the peoples, for great is His love toward you and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Psalm 117

May you know the joy of giving an appropriate answer and a timely word, delivered in God’s authority and motivated by God’s compassion. Proverb 15:23

John 2:9-10 The steward called the bridegroom 10 and said to him, “Everyone serves the good wine first, and then the inferior wine after the guests have become drunk. But you have kept the good wine until now.”

Mark 5:19 Jesus did not let him [the man from whom he had cast out demons] come with him, but said, “Go home to your family and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.”

John 15:9-12 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. 12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.

2 Corinthians 9:8 In all things at all times, having all that you need.

Proverbs 11:24-25 One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want. 25 Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.

May you not be overcome of evil, nor permit others to render evil for good on your behalf, but, exercising faith and patience, hold tightly to the promises God has given you, trusting Him to bring them to pass in His time and in His way. 1 Samuel 24

May you truly repent and turn from the choices and actions God convicts you of, as David did, and not merely mourn when they are revealed, weeping for them but continuing to love them, convinced but not converted, ashamed yet still bitter, as Saul did. 1 Samuel 24

May you always remember that you are but a steward of what you have, realizing that all which you hold authority over was given you from God so that you may do the work of the Father, showing His love to those who have lost sight of Him and demonstrating His abundance to those who have need in doing His work. 1 Samuel 25

May you be as willing to follow Christ as His disciple in trials and sufferings as Abigail was willing to share the privations of David in the wilderness, because of faith in the kingship which shall be realized, and in response to the mercy and loving acceptance already shown. 1 Samuel 25

May you learn to hear the Lord plainly, listening to His voice and following Him in the paths of eternal life, as He keeps you safe from those who would snatch you from His hand, defeating them as they try. John 10

May you realize and understand that those who resist the work of God and reject the Word of God cannot restrict the will of God, but can only remove the blessing of God from their own lives, not the lives of others. John 10

Pray, My child, without ceasing; stand firm in resisting the enemy. Receive the full victory that is yours by praying with persistence, for while I purchased it for you in My flesh, you must receive it from Me by My Spirit.
When you pray, I hear. And because I hear, My love guarantees an answer. But you must not doubt, for that is the enemy’s goal. He cannot prevent My answer, but if he can make you doubt that I have heard and answered, you may give up, turn away, and quit praying.
Look into the world of the spirit with My eyes, My wavering one. See the agents of the enemy which have been given assignments against you. Watch My anger burst forth and defeat the evil that attacks you, soundly and fully vanquishing each that touches My beloved, bringing you respite. But do not look away – for another minion has been sent to continue the attack.
If you do not understand this, you may think you have “lost” the victory, that you were too “weak” to walk in the spirit, that “hidden” sin in your life is separating you from Me.
Do not give up! Do not quit! Do not lay down your sword and shield! Stand against each attack and watch My power vanquish each foe. Remember that the enemy comes in as a flood, and he will send as many underlings to certain defeat as it takes to make you waver in your faith.
Whatever the attack, it will not overwhelm you. Just as I have no limit to My grace, and endless abundance of compassion for all your needs, so also My arm will not grow weary, nor shall My will ever fail. I am the Captain of the army of the Lord, and I have personally overcome the wickedness of evil that strives against Me.
Call upon Me as often as needed, speak in My name at every attack, stand on My promise in each situation, for I will always be victorious, time and time again, until the waves of attacks end.
Remember that I was accosted by Satan more than once, but he eventually departed for a season; so must the repeated attacks which tempt you to give in eventually end as you endure in My name, lifting Me up, and celebrate each victory.

May you love the Lord and call upon Him for as long as you live, for He has turned His ear to you and hears your voice when you cry for mercy. Psalm 116

When you are overcome by trouble and sorrow, tangled in the cords of death and the anguish of the grave, may you call on the name of Lord to save you. Psalm 116

May the Lord save and protect you, preserving and guarding you while He keeps watch over you, as He does for all who are defenseless and untrained, who approach Him in simplicity and innocence, with the humility of the inexperienced and the weak. Psalm 116

May your soul be at rest once more for the Lord has been good to you, for He has delivered your soul from death, your eyes from tears, your feet from stumbling that you may walk before the Lord in the land of the living. Psalm 116

May you bring a song of thanksgiving to the Lord and fulfill your vows to Him, performing them in the presence of all His people, in the courts of the Lord’s house, and in the midst of Jerusalem. Psalm 116

May you choose and desire to be a wise and sensible child who brings joy and gladness to his Father, causing Him to rejoice in your faithfulness and obedience. Proverbs 15:20

May you have the intelligence, understanding and good sense to walk uprightly, to keep to a straight course, and regulate your walk in order to stay on the right path. Proverbs 15:21

Philippians 4:13 [Paul wrote,] “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”

Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee.

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.

Psalm 84:11 No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

Psalm 36:8 They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, and You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures.

May your heart be as the heart of David, who felt the pain of others when he heard of the death of the priests at Nod, and not like the heart of Saul, who only felt anger when others did not agree with him. 1 Samuel 22

May God send you a friend in the midst of your troubles and distress that will bring the comfort and strength of God to your heart, and renew your dedication to the Lord, pointing you to Him as your Defender, Redeemer, Source, and Master. 1 Samuel 23

May you find and enjoy the security of the Lord as the gate for His sheep, and may you learn and follow the voice of the Lord as the shepherd of His flock, for He will defend you from the attacking wolf, and has laid down His life for you, giving you life, abundant and full. John 10

Pray, My child, at whatever cost is required to do so.
Turn your heart to Me daily, hourly, continually, and let your voice follow your heart, for as you speak to Me, regularly, familiarly, intimately, you will find that you speak for Me to others who are being sought by Me.
Even the world understands that if you walk among and associate with wise men, you will be wise; how much more true it is, then, that if you devote time to spend in My presence, it will transform you.
Bit by bit, you will find, springing up from within you, living water flowing out to transform the desert wilderness of your soul into the promised land of the kingdom of God, as you find yourself imitating and demonstrating the nature of God, responding to circumstances and people differently than you used to. By abiding in My presence, and allowing My Spirit to work in you, the fullness of the Godhead will be available to make you complete in Me.
Can you imagine becoming aware of the incredible awesomeness of the riches of My spiritual treasures and the amazing magnitude of the power of My resurrection which releases the victory of life in all aspects of your daily walk? Is there any way, then, that your heart could be prevented from pouring forth praises for Who I am? Is there any power that could stop your lips from bursting forth in worship of the One Who so freely and liberally emptied Himself to redeem and sanctify you?
Since I dwell in the praises of My people, let the intent of your will give direction to the meditation of your heart, swelling into the thoughts of your mind and giving voice to the words of your mouth, to be confirmed by the deeds of your hands and the steps of your feet, so that your life will give glory to the Father, Who is fully deserving of all acclaim.
He Who is the blessed and only Sovereign, eternal, immortal, invisible, dwelling in unapproachable light, seated on His throne, possessing life eternal, has placed all the attributes of the Godhead at your disposal. It is His will and pleasure to give you such great promises, precious and magnificent, allowing you to become partakers of My divine nature. Through His Word and His Spirit, He gives you enlightenment to escape the corruption of lust that is in the world, if you hold fast the beginning of your assurance firm to the end.
So remain loyal to the Father that He can use you even as He used Me.

May you give all glory to the name of the Lord because of His love and faithfulness. Psalm 115

May you not be like those who worship what their hands have made, lifeless images made of silver or gold, for those who make them will be like them, as will all who trust in them. Psalm 115

May you fear the Lord and trust in Him, for He is your help and shield; He remembers you and will bless you, small and great alike. Psalm 115

May you be patient and cool-tempered, slow to anger and in control of yourself that you may appease strife and calm disputes, extinguishing the contention that a hot-tempered person starts. Proverbs 15:18

May the Lord make your path obvious and your way an open, level highway, as He does for the just and the upright, rescuing them from the hedge of briers and patch of thorns that the sluggard and slothful face. Proverbs 15:19

1 John 2:17 The world and its cravings are passing away, but the person who does the will of God remains forever.

Isaiah 55:11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

2 Corinthians 1:8-10 We think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters, about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia. We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it. 9 In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God… 10 And He did rescue us… We have placed our confidence in Him, and He will continue to rescue us.

Revelation 19:11 And I saw heaven opened; and behold, a white horse, and He who sat upon it is called Faithful and True…

May you learn from your trials the lessons God has prepared for you and gain from your tribulation the wisdom which the Lord graciously provides, for you can trust His care and rely on His gracious appointments as you look forward with joyful expectation to the fulfilling of God’s will and purpose concerning you. 1 Samuel 20

May you know that persecution will come, even from those closest who do not walk in the way of the Lord, but there is a Friend that remains closer than a brother. 1 Samuel 20, Proverbs 18:24

May you allow the methods of mercy to override the tasks of tradition, placing greater value on the needs of the person than on the requirements of the ritual. 1 Samuel 21

May your heart recommend you to God, Who sees the intent and the purpose behind your action, for merely coming into His presence, as Doeg did at the tabernacle, does not cleanse one of evil intent. 1 Samuel 21

May you walk simply and honestly before God, depending on Him for your daily needs and eventual rewards, avoiding the complexity and trouble that is endemic in the world. 1 Samuel 21

My child, be not content with what this world has to offer you, but allow My holy discontent to fill your heart. Allow My Spirit to unsettle your thoughts and bring a longing into your life for those things that you have not known before.
Seek for Me as you would seek for a precious, priceless rarity of which you have heard rumors, but have never seen. Trust Me to guide you and equip you and prepare you for what you have never known but have a deep, driving, abiding desire for.
Others will not understand, for they are content with what they see and hear and touch; they do not recognize the still, small voice of My Spirit speaking of life, rich and more abundant than they have ever known, lived in My presence, but not founded on the things of the earth. They cannot see beyond the distractions of the enemy which confuse their thoughts with the commotion of current events and dulls their judgment with the entertainment of fictional paper dolls, weighting their feet and their hearts with the burdens of material things.
There is no pleasure in My heart to see people die in their sins, as they sleep their way toward the precipice; My desire is for them to wake and know the truth of their destiny so they can receive My promise of life and My assurance of love.
Imitate Me, My dear one, and walk, even as I walked, in faithful stewardship of what I have entrusted to you, just as I was faithful before My Father in all that He entrusted to Me. Be content in the loving discipline and faithful reproving that I bring you with the assurance that I am never impatient or short-tempered, nor will I ever cast you off. Rather, I will walk with you all the way and, through My mighty power at work within you, will accomplish infinitely more than you might ask or think. I will never neglect, nor ever cease to love, those whose hearts are turned to Me.
Seek Me in your discontent and allow My Spirit to search out the deep things of God in your heart and reveal the hidden things of God in your life.

May you remember that in your spiritual blindness, you did not see Christ, but Christ saw you; your faith to believe was a grace and your restored vision was a mercy, that God might receive the greater glory. John 9

May you not be surprised when the work of God causes offense to those who claim to follow Him but do not know Him in their hearts, for in His redemptive mercy, He will show His strength and reveal their weakness, demonstrating His truth and wisdom as He exposes their lies and ignorance. John 9

May you be oft-accused of tradition-breaking as you obey the Lord and do the work of God, crossing barriers men set up against His mercy and ignoring boundaries intended to contain and proscribe His love. John 9

May you praise the name of the Lord both now and evermore, from where the sun rises to the place where it sets, for He is exalted over all the nations, and His glory higher than the heavens, yet He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the trash pile, seating them with the princes of the people, and settles the childless in her home as a happy mother of children. Psalm 113

May you tremble with the earth at the presence of the Lord Who turned the hard rock into springs of water, for even the sea looked and fled and the Jordan turned back as the mountains skipped like rams and the hills like lambs when God brought His chosen out of captivity and His elect became His sanctuary. Psalm 114

May you receive a glad and cheerful heart and a calm, secure mind from the Lord, making life a continual feast, whereas all the days of the miserable and despondent are difficult and troubled, wretched in every sense. Proverbs 15:15

May you willingly receive the wisdom and accept the understanding that the fear of the Lord with a few worldly possessions is better than great wealth with all the trouble and inner turmoil that drives away contentment. Proverbs 15:16

May you ever be aware of, and humbly grateful for, the privilege of being brought into the family of the King of kings! 1 Samuel 18

May you accept the freedom from slavery that you are offered by Jesus, the Son, that you may do the works of God, the Father, and find a place in His family forever. John 8

I call you to battle, My child.
You must take the kingdom of God by force. The land of the soul has lain fallow for many years, and intruders have laid claim to it, building strongholds to defend themselves and the territories of the mind and the heart that they have claimed for their own and seek to hold sway over.
These principalities do not acknowledge Me, and they pervert My knowledge, neither glorifying Me nor thanking Me, drawing others to worship the creation rather than the Creator.
Be clear on My order, My brave one, and remain true to My calling. Be ye perfect, be ye complete, put on the whole armor of God that you may stand. Let perseverance finish its work in you, fully developing your endurance so that steadfastness may have its full effect, making you mature, perfect, complete, and lacking nothing.
Know who it is that you are fighting against, My trooper. Know that you are not wrestling with Me, lest you compel Me to put you out of joint, nor do you wrestle against flesh and blood, whom I have ordained you to serve by wrestling before Me in prayer for them.
Your greatest struggle is against the fleshly nature that resists the things of the spirit; that is the perseverance that is required as long as you inhabit the body, bearing the inheritance of Adam.
It is an individual fight, My love, and you need the refreshing that I bring to you. Spend time with Me, alone, in quiet, for I have much to give you. Always remember, though, that what I give you is for others, for though your walk is an individual path, it is not a solitary path.
I place you in the Body where I chose, and I establish you in the troops where I will. As each part, each member, works properly, supplying to the other parts that which I have given to meet their needs, you will find your needs met by the others who are walking their paths, individual, but not solitary.
As you stand in place, shoulder to shoulder, leaving no gap in the hedge, you will find that no weapon of the enemy will prosper against you, and every tongue that speaks lies against you, judging you, shall be judged and the lies stopped, the falsehoods turned to honor, for My Truth shall prevail.
Learn My voice, My warrior, stand firm in the face of resistance, endure afflictions for My name’s sake, and receive the victory I have won for you, for My will shall stand.

May you fear the Lord and find great delight in His commands, for then you will be richly blessed with spiritual abundance from God. Psalm 112

May you steadfastly trust in the Lord from your heart, for then you will have no fear of bad news, and in the end you will look with triumph on your foes. Psalm 112

May you not avoid the wise, but consult and inquire of them, walking with them in love and accepting rebuke, reproof and correction that you may live and prosper in the Lord. Proverbs 15:12

May the joy of God’s salvation through Jesus Christ enlighten your face with cheer as His renewing Spirit heals the broken and crushed spirit within you. Proverbs 15:13

May you have a discerning mind and an understanding heart which provoke you with an irresistible desire and a burning hunger to seek for and search out the eternal truths of God and the hidden treasures of the Spirit, giving you no peace away from His presence and finding no satisfaction in the temporary enjoyments of the world. Proverbs 15:14

May you be ready to step forward in obedient humility at the Lord’s leading, though others lag back in fear, with a zeal to do His will and speak His truth, though others accuse you of ambition and pride, so that the enemies of God may be made to flee, not trusting man’s methods, but using what God has given you that the glory and the praise for the victory may be His. 1 Samuel 17

May you always lift up the Son of God, giving praise to Him in honor, for that pleases the Father, and He will not leave you. John 8

Where will you look for help, My needy one, and to whom will you turn for what you seek? Do you not recall where your sorrow led you when you understood the need in your heart and the lack in your life?
Though you sought and tried so many different sources, you found none was complete. Though you still bore the marks and traces of each one you followed after, I accepted you fully and received you graciously.
My work in you was done in an instant, My worried one, and you knew it fully when it took place. The old life was shattered and the prison bars were broken; what had once held you captive now lay on the ground for you to walk over. The joy in your heart could not be counterfeit and the lightness of your step could not be mistaken – you became Mine, accepted in the Beloved.
The moment, the instant of salvation’s freedom and the transition from death to life is when the work of transformation began. Even as I created you, I also recreate you to bear My image and bring Me glory. I reshape you as I please. I form you to My specifications. I am the Master Builder Who declares when the work is complete; I am the One in Whose mind resides the shape that you will be given. It may look unfinished to others, but when I lay down My tools, no one else picks them up to add to or remove from that which I have accomplished.
Be confident in My Lordship; know that My arm is not shortened. Rest in My love and rely on My promises. I know your frame and understand what you face; My grace is sufficient, for the grim truth of your weakness and inability is abundantly met by My mercy and favor.
You are Mine, and neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all that I have created is able to separate one that I have been given by My Father from the love of God that I give to you.

May you extol the Lord with all your heart as you meet with His godly people, for the Lord’s works are great and all who delight in them ponder them, for His deeds are glorious and majestic & His righteousness endures forever. Psalm 111

May you remember the gracious and compassionate works of the Lord Who provides food for those who fear Him, for He remembers His covenant forever. Psalm 111

May you see the power of His works, which are faithful and just, even as His precepts are all trustworthy, always steadfast, done in faithfulness and uprightness. Psalm 111

May you receive the full redemption which the Lord, Whose Name is holy and awesome, has provided for His people, for He has ordained His covenant forever. Psalm 111

May you practice His instructions in order to grow in sound understanding and have good insight, for the fear of the Lord is the foundation of true wisdom. Psalm 111

John 8

My dear child, set your affections on Me, and not on the things of this world.
I have made it possible for you, who were once My enemy, to be accepted as the Beloved’s into the family of God, and I have made you joint-heirs with Me in all that My Father has given Me.
I have given you My promise to do whatsoever you ask in My name, and I provide for you shelter in a safe place in times of trouble, comforting you in your times of trial.
I know that path that I have set for you, and the sorrows that you will encounter along the way; I, too, am acquainted with grief, and I will walk with you through yours.
Although I show Myself strong in power and terrible in authority against those who persistently resist My will, do not mistake My mercy for My wrath, for I know the hearts of those who are Mine and I will not lose a single one that My Father has given Me.
Rely on Me completely in your weakness, My struggling one, for I have given Myself completely to you. Though your heart be broken, I will heal and strengthen it for what I am bringing you into. Though your soul be sick with grief, I will raise you up as you turn to Me.
Let loose all those that your affections cling to and let Me be your Source, all that you need in all that you encounter. I will be with you, I will guide you, I will empower you, but I will not share you.
Know that My love for those I have given you to care for is greater than your own, and My grace is sufficient to fully complete the work I have started.
Follow thou Me.

May you know without doubt that the Lord, over all lords, is on His throne, and every enemy, though running scared and furious now, has been defeated and stripped of authority, and will be captured, rounded up and made a footstool for the King of kings. Psalm 110

Psalm 110

May you be encouraged that the Lord is not directing from afar, but is at your right hand in the battle and, having crushed the spiritual powers and disarmed the spiritual wickedness, He requires only that you resist them when they loom, and say, “No!” to the lies they speak. Psalm 110

May you not be swayed by outward appearance or temporary styles in matters of eternal importance, for the truth of God is often delivered in vessels the world despises and by methods men discount. John 7

Beware of false prophets, My child, who tell forth My word with motives of mixed purposes or evil intent to fulfill their own appetites and increase their own glory.
They do not bring people to My feet, leaving them hungry to know Me more; rather, they draw others to themselves by speaking of Me, but lifting themselves up, telling of what I have done through them and explaining who they are in Me, and to Me, and describing what I have done for them.
They do not know My will and do not desire My heart. They do not come from Me, for I have never known them. Their portion is from the world, and not from Me.
What they desire, and what they receive, is in the world, and of the world, and they will be destroyed with it when I bring judgment into the world and upon the world.
Do not envy them, or follow their ways, or take their advice, for the end thereof is sorrow and death. Can the cattleman with 10,000 head of cattle feed you when pestilence strikes his herd? Can the farmer with 10,000 acres of grain sustain you when his machinery cannot function?
Can the merchant comfort the despair in your heart with the goods in his store? Can the song of a popular singer heal you of sickness or restore sight to the blind?
If you know Me, and walk with Me, and abide in Me, and have Me as your portion, you will be a light in their darkness, and they will seek answers from you when the corruption and catastrophes and fickleness of the world bring loss to their goods, and soul-sickness into their lives.
Turn not to those who have much, but to the One who gives much, for none has ever given more than I did at Calvary, nor ever given it more lovingly.
I neither sleep nor slumber, but keep watch over you as a rich man over his treasure or a captain with his garrison over a city.

May you praise God Who will not remain silent when wicked and deceitful men open their mouths against you and speak with lying tongues about you, surrounding you with words of hatred and attacking you without cause, for you are a person of prayer. Psalm 109

May the Sovereign Lord deal well with you for His name’s sake and deliver you because of the goodness of His love when you are poor and needy and your heart is wounded within you. Psalm 109

May you rejoice when the Lord your God saves you in accordance with His love, letting the enemy know that it is the hand of the Lord which has done it, for He will bless you whenever they curse you, and when they attack they will be wrapped in shame and clothed with disgrace. Psalm 109

May you greatly extol the Lord and praise Him in the great throng for He stands at the right hand of the needy one to save his life from those who condemn him. Psalm 109

May you act sensibly and prudently, gaining good sense and wisdom by accepting correction and heeding reproof, unlike the foolish ones who will not respect warnings, stubbornly despising their father’s discipline and mockingly rejecting his instruction. Proverbs 15:5

May you abide in the house of the Lord, wherein is great treasure and deep joy, and dwell with the family of God, wherein is abundant strength and sure confidence, leaving behind the tents of the wicked, filled with the revenue of calamity and the fruits of disturbance, bringing forth the income of trouble and the wages of sin. Proverbs 15:6

May your lips spread knowledge and your speech broadcast wisdom as you share good advice from the heart of the Father. Proverbs 15:7

You are My portion, My child, given to Me by My Father and received in My heart with joy unspeakable.
I have eagerly prepared, from before the foundations of the earth, all that you will need along the path that I draw you, My precious one, and I have gladly placed abundant supplies for your use at the places you will need them.
There are challenges along the way, My persistent one, and they are yours to choose to overcome; when you make that choice, you will find the resources I have placed right at hand to accomplish the task, meet the need, resist the evil, win the battle, cleanse the temple, sanctify the altar, and prepare for Me a dwelling place. My desire is that you would reflect My heart and accept Me as your portion, as your inheritance.
Rather than an undisturbed eternity of quiet, clean, pure fellowship with each other, We chose to be involved in Creation with all of the noise, chaos, confusion, pain, dirt, and conflict. I came as a servant, humbling Myself, seeking the good of all, dying to make the way open, whether any followed it or not.
Cleanse yourself of pride, for it causes you to struggle against others, and separates you from Me. Trust Me to do what is needed in the hearts of others, and walk in My steps, drawing on My resources as you face these challenges which will test you to the limit, and more, bringing you nearer to Me, in the fellowship of My suffering, for I understand your pain and have sent My Comforter.
Make Me yours, as I have made you Mine.

May your heart be steadfast before God as you sing and make music with all your soul, awakening the dawn as you praise the Lord among the nations and sing of Him among the peoples, for His love is higher than the heavens and His faithfulness reaches to the skies; therefore God is exalted above the heavens and His glory is over all the earth. Psalm 108

May God save you and help you with His right hand so those whom He loves may be delivered. Psalm 108

May God lead you into battle, giving you aid against the enemy, for the help of man is worthless; only with God will you gain the victory as He tramples down your enemies. Psalm 108

May you allow God to heal and anoint your tongue and bring forth gentle, wholesome, peaceable, soothing words which give life to the hearers whose crushed, broken, shattered spirits have been breached by deception, crookedness, perverseness and deviousness. Proverbs 15:4
