John 13:14 Jesus said, “Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.”

Ephesians 4:2-3 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

Luke 18:1 Then Jesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

Ephesians 4:22-24 …lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit 23 … 24 and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

John 8:11 And Jesus said, ‘Neither do I condemn you; go your way. From now on sin no more.’

May you turn to the Lord when angry thoughts against someone come to mind, not dwelling on them or adding to them, but repudiating them, turning from them, and standing in the righteousness of Christ imputed by His sacrifice, bringing every rebellious thought captive and disciplined to the obedience of Christ. Deuteronomy 21, 2 Corinthians 10

May you bring before the Lord any principles and teachings you encounter in life that are interesting and attractive, not of sin or evil from which you have been separated by salvation, but of art and science, finance and politics, travel and sports, and take time to seek for understanding from His Spirit whether it aligns with His Word before embracing or espousing it. Deuteronomy 21

May you not ignore the small things that God shows you to do, for therein is His love manifested to your neighbor. Deuteronomy 22

May you draw ever nearer to God in your spiritual walk, that you might guard your soul against the selfish desires of the natural man’s carnal appetites, in all of the myriad forms of the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. Deuteronomy 22

Hear, O child: the Lord your God is one God, in full agreement of purpose and action between the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Can you understand this?
The Lord your God is a jealous God, yet full of compassion, Whose mercies are new every morning – even as you enjoy the comfort of this truth, are you able to comprehend it?
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God, and I, the Word, spoke creation into existence. When walking the world in flesh, I was given the testimony that “Never man spake as this man,” yet I accomplished My task, fulfilling My goal and purpose as your sacrificial ransom, by remaining silent and answering My accusers never a word of defense. As you revel in the reality of your redemption, have you pondered on this?
The world points to these things and proclaims that they have found contradictions that prove your belief to be untrue, and, truly, the carnal mind cannot connect the paradoxes. But as you walk in the Spirit, He brings you into all truth.
By faith, you can walk in confidence where mental logic cannot take you. This is how Peter, looking to Me, stepped out of the boat and walked without visible means of support on the water. Only when you look away from Me will you begin to sink and flounder, but when you look again to Me, I am always there for you.
Therefore, rejoice in Me always, pray conversantly with Me without ceasing, and give thanks for My presence in all circumstances. This is not simply a good idea, it is how you will survive the challenging assignments that are to come.
You must show My holiness in an unholy world. You must give My love to an unloving world. You must speak My truth to a deaf and denying culture. You must demonstrate My power before a blind and uncaring people. Some will believe, though many will not, but you will have delivered yourself of your responsibility and entered into My joyful fellowship.

May you walk in the compassion, grace, and mercy of Christ when faced with rejection, rather than zealously “defending” God by seeking retribution on others, as sons of thunder would. Luke 9

May you have ears to hear the voice of the Spirit that you may walk in balance and obedience, not taking upon yourself more than the Lord calls you to at any given time, and promptly following His directions in humility, without delay or digression. Luke 9

May you ask the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest field, for the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Luke 10

May the Lord remember His promises to you as He takes His revenge for the attacks of His enemy upon you, for God, the King, brings His salvation upon the earth. Psalm 74

May the Lord have regard for His covenant toward you, because haunts of violence fill the dark places of the land. Psalm 74

May the poor and needy praise the name of the Lord, and may the oppressed not retreat in disgrace, for when God rises up and defends their cause, He will not ignore the clamor of your adversaries or the uproar of your enemies. Psalm 74

Isaiah 43:1 Now, says the LORD — the One who created you, Jacob, the One who formed you, Israel: Don’t fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine.

Luke 22:42 Father, if you are willing, take this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done.

James 4:7 So be subject to God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you.

2 Corinthians 4:15–16 The more grace God gives, the more thanksgiving will redound to His glory. 16 This is the reason why we never collapse. The outward man does indeed suffer wear and tear, but every day the inward man receives fresh strength.

Acts 9:13-14 “Lord,” Ananias answered, “I have heard many reports about this man and all the harm he has done to your saints in Jerusalem. 14 And he has come here with authority from the chief priests to arrest all who call on your name.”

Psalm 145:18-19 The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. 19 He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry and will save them.

May you follow after the Lord, seeking the heavenly wisdom of the Father which is peaceable and gentle, forsaking the ways which the world follows to secure favor, obtain direction, and determine the future, for these ways lead away from the Lord your God, and are detestable to Him. Deuteronomy 18, James 3

May the Lord your God enlarge your territory, as He promised on oath to you, and give you the whole land He promised, because you carefully follow the Word of God you have received – to love the Lord your God and to walk always in His ways. Deuteronomy 19

May you always show grace and mercy abundantly to those who are in need of it, just as the Israelites were directed to establish cities of refuge for those who could find it nowhere else. Deuteronomy 19

May you not be afraid of the methods used by people of the world when they come against you with persecution and trials, for the Lord your God, Who has saved and redeemed you, will be with you, giving you words of testimony that will convict of sin, righteousness, and judgment, drawing those who will turn to His mercy in repentance. Deuteronomy 20, John 16

May you not be fainthearted or give way to panic as you go into spiritual battle against the principalities and powers which resist the will of God and stand against the word of God, seeking to influence people to act against the ways of God, for the Lord your God is the One who goes with you to fight for you and give you the victory. Deuteronomy 20

Are you willing to be the least-regarded among your acquaintances, My child? Do you find in your heart an acceptance of being relegated to the edges and the dimness by those you work with? Are you able to be content with not being heard by those you associate with regularly?
Even more, My disciple, can you gladly minister to them in love, supporting and encouraging them without acknowledgment? Are you willing to pray for them and intercede with Me on their behalf while quietly cleaning up after them and peacefully fixing what they have undone?
As a mother lovingly nurtures the children of her heart with self-sacrifice, and as a father expends himself laboring on behalf of the children of his soul to provide their needs, can you place the spiritual needs of others before your need for recognition? Can you find the joy in your time of fellowship with Me that sustains you and changes the atmosphere for others, clearing the taint of the enemy and opening the door for My Spirit to move?
There are times, My warrior, when boldness and battle are the call of the day, and great victories are won with the clash of weapons and sound of fury among the people; plunder will be taken, captives freed, acclaim will be made and awards presented.
But so often, My valiant one, the groundwork for success is laid by those I place quietly, scattered among the enemy’s holdings, who are not heard and rarely seen, but who bring the fragrance of freedom and the dawning of light into darkness. They speak of My love by their actions to those who will hear, and leave signs of My compassion to those who will see, quietly sowing seeds and patiently watering the tender growth as questions I pose burn in the hearts of those I draw until it bears a harvest of souls for Me.
Endure hardship with patience, My devoted one, whether of battle or of service, as a loyal soldier and humble servant of the Father. The harvest will soon be over and the celebration feast will be held.

May you ever choose to honor and listen to the anointed Son of God Who is beloved of the Father, over any other sources, however prominent. Luke 9

May you be willing, in the sight of the world, to be considered as no better than a child, innocent in intent, ignorant of evil, not practiced in guile, trusting all and willing to help any. Luke 9

May you accept and encourage all who labor with you in the harvest fields of the Lord, for whoever is not against you is for you. Luke 9

May there be nothing on earth you desire as much as God, for though your flesh and your heart may fail, God is your strength and your portion forever. Psalm 73

James 1:12 KJV Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love Him.

Colossians 4:2 NIV Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

Proverbs 3:31-32 NIV Do not envy a violent man or choose any of his ways, 32 for the LORD detests a perverse man but takes the upright into His confidence.

John 7:38 NASB He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water.’

Matthew 16:24 KJV If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me.

Luke 19:10 NASB For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.

May the Lord your God bless you in all your harvest, and in all the work of your hands, so that your joy will be complete. Deuteronomy 16

May you bring before the Lord your freely-given gift of glad praise and joyous worship, according to the abundance of the Lord’s blessings upon you, remembering those around you through humble service to them, that they may have praise to offer to God, as well. Deuteronomy 16

May you recognize the bribes which come from the world, appealing to the lusts of the flesh, the lusts of the eyes, and the pride of life, and refuse to accept any form or fashion of what is offered, for thereby are the eyes of wisdom blinded and the words of righteousness twisted, causing justice to be perverted when partiality is shown. Deuteronomy 16

May you ever honor God as the highest authority, and honor those whom He brings you as teachers and mentors; when you are assigned by God to pour yourself into the lives of others, may you carefully guard yourself from and avoid each thing that would distract you from God and the duties you receive, focusing gladly on His Word, walking joyfully in His Spirit, and serving humbly before His Body. Deuteronomy 17

Seek Me, My child, as for a vital, precious item which you cannot imagine living a day in your life without. Look for Me, My love, as though for that which will safeguard you through the dangers of a battlefield. Pursue Me, My precious one, as if all the riches and treasure required to provide you and those you love a secure and comfortable life was waiting for your arrival.
Search for Me, My worth-while one, as if acknowledging your lack and poverty, your need and desire, your shortfall and requirement, for those who are hungry shall be filled, and those who are thirsty may buy and drink without cost; those who are persecuted shall receive justice and those who have no hope shall be placed in a family and provided a defender and encourager.
If you are rich with this world’s goods and feel no lack, I have nothing I can give you. If you are secure in this world’s society and feel no pain, I have nothing to offer you. If you are strong in this world’s authority and know no fear, I can only promise you destruction.
Only if you know you are sick will you accept what the Physician offers – otherwise His cure will be distasteful. Acknowledge your need and My Father will supply all you require according to His unfathomable riches.
As you seek, first, the kingdom of God in the midst of your poverty of spirit, and His righteousness in the weakness of your flesh, you will find that all which you need will be added to you. If My Father was willing to deliver Me, His Beloved, over for your needs, how will He not also, through Me, freely give you all things?
Do not boast of who you are or what you have, My poor one, but glory in your weakness which brings My strength into your life. Boast of your poverty which brings My treasure into the world through you. Rejoice in your solitary loneliness, My orphaned one, for you are brought before the King of kings and made His ward, even more, His adopted child and given the love that was for so long denied you.
Seek Me, My love, as though you needed Me, for surely you will find Me.

May you give to all whom the Lord brings you food to satisfy their spiritual hunger, for as you look up to heaven and give thanks to the Father, He will multiply what is broken, so yield to the dealings of the Spirit in your heart. Luke 9

May you deny yourself and take up your cross daily and follow the Lord, losing your life for Him, for He will save it. Luke 9

May the Lord deliver the needy who cry out and the afflicted who have no one to help, taking pity on the weak and the needy, and save the needy from death, rescuing them from oppression and violence, for precious is their blood in His sight. Psalm 72

Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart.

May you follow the Lord your God, revere Him, keep His commands and obey Him, serve Him and hold fast to Him when someone entices you to give your heart’s love to another “god” rather than to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Deuteronomy 13

May you obey the Lord your God, keeping all His commands and doing what is right in His eyes, for then He will show you mercy, have compassion on you, and increase your numbers as He promised on oath which was sealed by the blood of His beloved and righteous Son, Jesus. Deuteronomy 13

May you know that you are a child of the Lord your God, one of a people holy to the Lord your God, for out of all the peoples on the face of the earth, the Lord has chosen you to be His treasured possession. Deuteronomy 14

May you learn to revere the Lord your God always by following the disciplines He sets before you to guide you in abiding in the presence of the Lord your God. Deuteronomy 14

May you remember the homeless, foreigners, widows, and fatherless who live in your town, and see to their provision so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands. Deuteronomy 14

May you give generously to your brother, openhanded and freely, not grudgingly, lending him whatever he needs, without thought of receiving repayment, because then the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to. Deuteronomy 15

I have been, and continue to be, numbered with the transgressors, enrolled among sinners, identified with the defendant, counted among the guilty.
I, Who have no sin, have chosen to be found among those who have no righteousness, who know no peace. You, who live for death, are freely invited to come to Me, Who died for life. I paid the price I did not owe for you who owed the debt you could not pay.
I, Who am sinless, holy, and righteous, do not sit above the transgressors and cast judgment, but walk among the guilty and seek out the sinner, drawing you to Me. There can be no condemnation from One Who is numbered among and listed with the ones judged as guilty and sentenced to death.
I was written on the transgressors list that you might be written in the Lamb’s book of life. I was born in the flesh as you in order to receive the inheritance of sin and misery that is your family lot from Adam.
I have brought you resurrection and rebirth that you may receive My inheritance from God the Father. Rejoice in this inheritance, My child, for it brings you the right standing that you have not earned, but need to have in order to do the work of the Father.
You receive the ministration of the hosts of heaven for rescue when attacked, strength for the work, and messengers to communicate the truth of the good news of life which you speak to others. Your prayers are heard and answered.
You are given the assurance and boldness to ask God to search and know your heart and your anxious thoughts, testing and revealing anything that is impure without fear of destruction or rejection. Rather, you have My promise of working with you and lovingly guiding you along the path of everlasting life.
By this do the steps of your feet, the words of your mouth, the deeds of your hands, the thoughts of your mind, even the intents of your heart, become acceptable unto the Lord, Who is ever your Rock and your Redeemer, accepting, encouraging, disciplining in love, and completing His work in you, revealing His image through you to the world.

May you believe Jesus in all He says that you may follow Him into all He wants to show you, as Peter, James and John did, rather than laugh scornfully at what He says and be turned out like the mourners in Jairus’ house who were turned out for their unbelief. Luke 8

May you take refuge in the Lord, for He will rescue you and deliver you in His righteousness and never put you to shame, for He will turn His ear to you and save you. Psalm 71

May the Lord be your rock of refuge to which you can always go, for He will give the command to save you since He is your rock and your fortress Who will deliver you from the hand of the wicked and the grasp of evil and cruel men. Psalm 71

May you ever praise the Sovereign Lord Who has been your hope and confidence since your youth, for from birth you have relied on Him Who brought you forth from your mother’s womb, and because He is your strong refuge, your mouth is filled with His praise, declaring His splendor all day long. Psalm 71

May the Lord be near you and may God come quickly to help you, for though your enemies speak against you and those who wait to destroy you conspire together saying, “God has forsaken him, so let’s pursue and seize him for no one will rescue him,” God will not cast you away when you are old and the Lord will not forsake you when your strength is gone. Psalm 71

May you come and proclaim the mighty acts and the righteousness of the Sovereign Lord alone, for you will always have hope as your mouth tells of His righteousness and salvation all day long, though it is measureless and beyond knowledge. Psalm 71

March 29

Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Ephesians 5:18-19 Be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord.

Psalm 23:4 The psalmist wrote, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.”

1 Peter 2:24 [Christ] Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that, free from sins, we might live for righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed.

Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap; for the measure you give will be the measure you get back.

1 Corinthians 13:1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.

Zechariah 4:6 ‘…Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit’, says the Lord of hosts.

May you acknowledge the Lord for all that you have received from Him and reverence Him for the mighty deeds He has performed in your life, confessing Him to be the Lord and God over all you are and have, granting Him the praise He is deserving of and the obedience He has earned the right to. Deuteronomy 11

May you observe all that the Lord directs you in today so that you may have the strength to go in and take over the inner land of your soul that is your inheritance to possess and so that you may live long in that land which the Lord has promised to you, for it is where the eyes of the Lord your God are continually, and God’s care rests perpetually. Deuteronomy 11

May you faithfully love the Lord your God and serve Him with all your heart and soul, for then He will send His blessings on you, each in its own season, times of renewal and refreshing, so you may gather in your spiritual harvests of grain, new wine and oil. Deuteronomy 11

May you fix God’s words in your heart and mind, letting them direct your actions and guide your thoughts, teaching them to others, talking about them when you sit at home and when you travel, when you lie down and when you get up. Deuteronomy 11

May you be careful to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to hold fast to him, then the Lord will drive out all these spiritual inhabitants before you, and you will dispossess powers larger and stronger than you, and every place in the landscape of your soul where you set your foot will be yours; no power will be able to stand against you and the Lord your God, as He promised you, will put the terror and fear of you on all the principalities, wherever you go. Deuteronomy 11

My child, come, join Me in suffering, attend to Me in the pain of My kingdom, enter into the fellowship of My sorrow.
Do you hesitate at the offer? Do you give second thoughts to acceptance of My invitation? Do you look around, wondering where the joy and the pleasure and the ease can be found?
The pleasure is for when the work is completed, My child, and is guaranteed if you endure. The ease is for when the yoke is lifted and the burden is delivered at the end of the journey, My fellow-laborer, and is waiting even now as you travel onward. The joy is for the feast, the marriage-supper, My love, when you shall take your rightful place beside Me, once you have prepared yourself, letting the Spirit direct you and allowing the Word to shape you.
When I walked the earth, clothed in flesh, I endured the hunger and thirst of a day’s work, and knew the exhaustion and sore muscles of a long day and short night.
But more, I knew the pain of false accusations of “pretender” and “blasphemer” as well as the true ones, of caring more for strangers than family, as well as the rejection when people feared Me for what I did and sent Me away. I wept from a broken heart, and I travailed over what was required of Me, enduring what was necessary.
Even now, as I live in the power of the resurrection, seated in the heavenlies, I work, making intercession for you with the Father as you work out the humbly reverential and obediently respectful way to walk in your own salvation relationship with Me, My precious one. I am still travailing for you in your temptations, still suffering the rejection you experience, still bearing the pain of the illness and disease that your flesh suffers, still weeping with you in the sorrows the world brings to you.
We walk together, My redeemed one, and I bear your burdens, for I understand and I gladly lend My back to the weight you carry and My shoulder for you to lean on, and My ear for your prayers and tears. Remember that weeping may last for the night, but My joy comes in the morning.
There is already a crown of righteousness laid up, bearing your name – you only have to persist, endure, continue walking obediently in order to arrive in the city I have built for you from the creation of the world. It is I Who started the work in you, My chosen One, and it is I Who will finish it as you draw near and abide in Me, for then your joy will be full.

May you be certain to destroy completely all the idols, false gods, and places of their worship which have been set up in the land by the principalities you are dispossessing, breaking the altars, smashing the sacred stones and burning the poles, cutting down the idols and wiping out their names, for you must not worship the Lord your God in the way they have been worshiped. Deuteronomy 12

May you rejoice in the presence of the Lord your God in everything you have put your hand to because the Lord your God has blessed you. Deuteronomy 12

May you understand how much you have received from God, how deep your need has been, how high Jesus has lifted you, and where you would be now without Him, so that you can make much of Jesus to all who are around you. Luke 8

May God hasten to save you, coming quickly to help you, so that those who seek your life may be put to shame and confusion, and turned back in disgrace. Psalm 70

May God come quickly to you when you are poor and needy, for He is your help and your deliverer, and may all who seek the Lord rejoice and be glad in Him, and may all who love God’s salvation say, “Let God be exalted!” Psalm 70

May you be assured today that the Lord your God is the one who goes ahead of you like a devouring fire and will destroy and subdue the enemies in the land before you; then, you will drive them out and annihilate them quickly, as the Lord has promised, and commanded, you. Deuteronomy 9

May you be clear on the fact that the Lord is going to drive out these “nations,” these powers, before you from the inheritance He has promised you because of their wickedness, and not because of your own righteousness or integrity, but through the work of, the striving by, and the victory in, Jesus. Deuteronomy 9

May you remember that the Lord your God asks nothing of you but to fear Him, to walk in all His ways, to love Him, to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the Lord’s commands and decrees for your own good. Deuteronomy 10

May you daily recall that to the Lord your God belong the heavens, the earth, and everything in it, and yet has set His affection on you, and loved you, and chose you, therefore circumcise your heart by submitting to His discipline and do not resist the leading and prompting of the Spirit, for the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, Who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes, defends the cause of the fatherless and widow, and loves the alien, he who is not yet a citizen, giving him food and clothing, and calls you to show the same love to those who are in the same situation you once were. Deuteronomy 10

May you fear the Lord your God and serve Him, holding fast to Him for He is your praise and He is your God Who performed for you great and awesome wonders in drawing you to Himself and redeeming you as He revealed His salvation to you. Deuteronomy 10

May you hear God’s word and put it into practice so that you may be considered part of the family of God. Luke 8

My child, hold fast what you have, so that no one will take your reward, for I am coming quickly.
The days will soon be hard, and times difficult, but I hear your prayers and am meeting your needs. Fight the good fight, even as you have been; continue standing firm, holding the ground I have given you.
I have warned you of what is to come, and called you to prepare by drawing close to Me, receiving of the Spirit the engrafted Word and the fragrant anointing oil which will sustain you in the heat of the battle.
Hear Me when I speak to you of your weaknesses, when I bring circumstances to reveal what is in your heart. This is not to condemn you for what you cannot change, but for you to realize that you cannot stand in or rely on your own strength and resources.
It would be useless for you to strive early and labor late unless it is at the things I have assigned you and have placed My favor upon. But when you sow righteousness, you receive righteousness; when you sow mercy, you will receive mercy.
Though the enemy attacks nowhere as savagely as at those who stand closest to Me, where else can you be so safe as under My wings of loving care? My grace makes the fearful brave, the bruised reed strong and causes a smoking flax about to go out to flame like the altar which consumes the flesh given in sacrifice. Though you be timid, you will become bold as a lion when My Spirit empowers you.
Wait on Me, My warrior, hold what you have been given, and wait for My command, for in My timing, by your obedience, the victory I have given you the vision of will be accomplished.
Faithful obedience, which is not the understanding of the intellect but the deliberate commitment to Me, will win the day.

Though you are in pain and distress, may the salvation of God protect you. Psalm 69

May you praise God’s name in song and glorify Him with thanksgiving for this freewill gift from your heart will please the Lord more than you giving of your possessions, which came from Him to begin with. Psalm 69

May your heart live as you seek God, though you are poor and needy, for the Lord will hear you and does not despise His captive people. Psalm 69

May heaven and earth praise God, as well as the seas and all that move in them, for God will perform what He has promised, and His will, which is settled in heaven eternally and is firmly established on earth, will endure forever, and His people will rest in His blessing to enjoy it, they will receive His gifts, and those who love His name will abide in His presence. Psalm 69

May you obtain favor from the Lord as a good man does, rather than be condemned by Him as is a crafty man. Proverbs 12:2

May you be solidly grounded and deeply rooted in the Lord, as the righteous are, so that you cannot be removed or uprooted, for no one can be established through wickedness. Proverbs 12:3

Philippians 2:3-4 Do nothing from selfishness…but with humility of mind let each of you regard one another as more important than himself; 4 do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.

May you stand firm and resolute in your determination to utterly destroy all strongholds of the enemy in your life and pull down completely every thought that resists the will of God and exalts itself against the knowledge of God, showing no mercy and making no treaty with the powers and principalities that bring thoughts and temptations which draw on the lusts that war against your heart and mind, that you may possess the land of your soul where in the kingdom of God is established. Deuteronomy 7, 2 Corinthians 10

May you understand that the Lord has sought you and chosen you to be His own, His special treasured possession, which He has made clean and holy, a vessel dedicated to His use, not because of who you are, but because the Lord, He is God, the One Who loves you, and He is faithful to keep all His promises. Deuteronomy 7

May you pay attention to the ways of the Lord, accepting discipline and exercising care to ensure you follow them, that He may bless you and increase the fruit you bear and the harvest you bring, keeping you free from the snares that entangle you and the sins that beset you when you prosper. Deuteronomy 7

May you not fear the enemy or feel discouraged in the battle, but remember your first love and know that the Lord has broken the power of the opponent and will send His heavenly host to destroy all that flee from you, for the Lord your God, Who is with you, is a great and awesome God. Deuteronomy 7

May you realize that the enemy is numerous, the battle is long and the process continuous, for the Lord will not drive out the opponents all at once, but as you grow and mature, He will guide you in destroying those strongholds which are more powerful and well-established, bringing confusion upon them and delivering them over to you to be destroyed. Deuteronomy 7

May you not follow the wisdom or practice the principles of the powers which are overthrown in your life, for even the memory of their names shall be wiped out lest you be seen by others as depending on and relying on them as your source, but cast it aside and set it apart for destruction, letting the Lord be your undeniable and obvious source for all you have and all you are, trusting Him to bring you into only those things for which He has prepared you. Deuteronomy 7

May you always, repeatedly, and continually remember how the Lord your God has led you in the spiritual wilderness, calling you to come out to Himself, separating you into an intimate isolation with Him, for those times of growth and development when He tests you, posing questions you must answer from within, that in humility you can be shown what is in your heart and know whether you desire to obey Him, drawing you to depend, not on the world, but in Him and in the Word of the Lord, that you may accept and obey His discipline and training as a precious child who is beloved of the Father. Deuteronomy 8

May you rejoice in the Lord your God Who brings blessings upon you and good things to satisfy you, and is equally willing to withhold His blessings and remove things if they hinder your praise to Him or cause pride to grow in your heart, for He loves you too much to allow you to lose sight of who you are to Him and the depth of His loving care for you. Deuteronomy 8

Is My Word changing you, My child? Do you desire its work in your life each day, or do you dread to hear it speak to your heart?
Not the dead letter of unresponsive ink on paper which is all that the eye of flesh can see, and which is used by the enemy to condemn the heart and deaden the spirit. No, I mean the God-breathed, life-filled, Spirit-revealed truth that the renewed mind, which I have created in you, can receive.
It is not always pleasant for what remains of your old nature, but it always brings the peaceable fruit of righteousness once you have accepted it in reverence and obeyed it in humility as it trains, reproves, corrects and encourages you in the way you should walk, bringing you into the maturity of spirit that I desire for you.
As you grow in My Word, you will see the walls of dividing grudges fall, no longer separating you from others who bear My Spirit-life, but opening the lines of communication from heart to heart in safety and trust.
You will find that My words of love become life within you, strong to remove fear of man and spirit, beast and storm. You will see that I, your Creator, am the caring, compassionate defender of your life. You will understand how much greater I am than all that I have created.
You will realize that, though your body and soul fail and forces stronger than you align against you, the Father Who is the strength of your heart and the light of your spirit is for you, so what man or nation or principality or power can stand against you as you do My will?
My dear one, draw near to Me, for I will draw near to you. As you discard more of what separates you from Me, I will reveal more of My nature and truth to you. Though others, in the flesh and in the world, are more likely to leave you as they know more about you, the more you seek Me alone, the fuller and more joyful My fellowship becomes. I already know you fully and love you completely; I will never turn away.
You will find that you will no longer fail in your love for Me, My precious one, for it is but a reflection of My love for you. Let that love which wells up in your heart, that first love, embrace My creation and make precious My people in your sight as you let it flow back to Me. It will accomplish in the lives of others what I have willed for it to do in their hearts.
This is how you will be about your Father’s business, My caring one. This is how you become My hand extended.

May you not see as the Pharisee did, and only know who was weeping over Jesus’ feet, but may you see as Jesus did and know why she was worshiping. Luke 7

May you always recall the size of the debt that Jesus paid for you, that you may love Him worthily. Luke 7

May you be willing, for the ministry of the kingdom, to humble yourself so that the truth of the gospel may be known, though it be counter to tradition or frowned on by society. Luke 8

May God come near to you and rescue you, redeeming you because of your foes. Psalm 69

May God not hide His face from you, but answer you quickly when you are in trouble. Psalm 69

May God keep you from being a stumbling block to those who trust in Him, and prevent them from being confused when you are mocked and cursed and shamed for His sake. Psalm 69

May God save you when the waters come up to your neck and you sink in the miry depths where there is no foothold, though the floods engulf you when you come into the deep waters and you weep until exhausted, your throat is dry and hoarse, your eyes are swollen with weeping, waiting for God to act. Psalm 69

Galatians 3:26-27 You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.

Matthew 5:14 Jesus said, “You are the light of the world.”

Romans 7:22-23 For I joyfully concur with the law of God in the inner man, 23 but I see a different law in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind, and making me a prisoner of the law of sin which is in my members.

Psalm 119:11 Thy word I have treasured in my heart, that I may not sin against Thee.

Philippians 2:3-4 Do nothing from selfishness…but with humility of mind let each of you regard one another as more important than himself; 4 do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.

Galatians 5:16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.

May you hungrily seek to hear the Word of God and thoughtfully study to learn His ways that you may gratefully walk in His path with thankful humility directing your thoughts and obedient reverence guiding your actions, allowing the loving mercy of the Father to be expressed through accepting meekness towards all those He leads you to. Deuteronomy 5

May you keep your focus on the Lord each day, giving Him your praise for the day He has made as He gives you His mercies fresh each morning, for you cannot walk in a relationship that someone else has – you must make sure that the Lord is your God. Deuteronomy 5

May you listen to the decrees and laws that have been declared in your hearing to learn them and be sure to follow them. Deuteronomy 5

May your heart be inclined to fear God and keep all His commands always so that it might go well with you forever. Deuteronomy 5

May you be careful to do what the Lord your God had commanded you and do not turn aside to the right or to the left but walk in all the way that the Lord your God has commanded you so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess. Deuteronomy 5

May you hear and be careful to obey so that it may go well with you and that you may increase greatly in a land flowing with milk and honey just as the Lord your God promised. Deuteronomy 6

May you hear, and remember, that the Lord our God is one, so love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. Let these commandments be upon your heart to impress them on your children, talk about them when you sit at home and when you travel along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Let them influence the things you use your hands to do, and let them direct and influence your thoughts through the day. Write them on the door-frames of your house and your gates that you may abide in Him as His Word abides in you. Deuteronomy 6

May you obey the Lord as He guides you into victory, overcoming the enemies which God has promised to help you drive out of the inner land of your mind and heart where His kingdom will be built, that you may rejoice in the good things of the land which you did not build and the gifts He brings you which you did not earn but received because of His love for you. Deuteronomy 6

May you be careful that when you eat and are satisfied in the land of blessing that God will bring you to, that you do not forget the Lord Who brought you out of slavery. Deuteronomy 6

May you do what is right and good in the Lord’s sight so that it may go well with you and you may go in and take over the good land of your soul that the Lord promised on oath to give you, thrusting out all your enemies before you. Deuteronomy 6

My child, you are in a time of warfare, and the battle is heating up. There will be no sound of retreat, for the time of the end is nearing.
Your battle is for people who are fearful of My voice, those who hear only the “do not” preaching and are well-acquainted with their own weakness.
You fight against the spiritual powers of wickedness that resist My will and the heavenly principalities that influence men to spurn My redeeming love, drawing them after their own desires and appetites, ensnaring them in the cruelly confining chains of fleshly appetites and mental arrogance, bound by the very nature of selfish self-satisfaction which, once yielded to, demands total autonomy and full control over the individual’s will without giving any sense of satisfaction or fulfillment.
Your standard is My demand, “Let My people go,” even as I spoke in the garden of Gethsemane, “If you seek Me, let these go their way.” For that way is one of progress into maturity, holiness, victory and glory as each is led by My Spirit into triumph over self and the carnal nature, conquering the inner land of the soul and cleansing the inner man which I have chosen to be My eternal abode.
Your protection is the purity you are given by My grace, and which is maintained by your self-constraint. It is not innocence which maintains purity, My child, for innocence is quickly lost in the battle against unchecked wickedness and unrestrained evil. Purity is established from the inside out, through the cleansing of My blood, and is not sullied by what touches you in the rescue of those mired in muck and filth.
You must maintain the spiritual purity of your heart through self-restraint when you are tempted to pursue thoughts or persist in actions. Turn instead to draw near and sharpen the clarity of your vision of Me, for the pure in heart shall see God. Thus you will be able to see Me in others as you minister to them, not through giving your own theories and opinions and experiences, but by honestly, lovingly, faithfully, sincerely and truthfully exalting Me, for then My Spirit will bear witness to the true Word you speak.
Fight faithfully, My warrior, enduring to the end, for I am with you always.

May your heart go out to those in sorrow and loss, struggling in spiritual darkness and death, as you are moved by the Father’s compassion and empowered by the Spirit’s anointing, to bring the Words of Life to those the world considers beyond help and in need of removal, that God may be glorified and the people filled with awe as those who receive life begin to speak words of truth and praise. Luke 7

May you have the vision to perceive the truth of the witness provided by the Spirit and the Word, during those gray times of duty when you are required to wait for the Lord, that your understanding may be corrected, broadened and opened, making the way to the Lord straighter and plainer, that you make stand firm in faith without fear of falling away. Luke 7

May you obediently follow the Lord in the path along which He guides you that you may hear the Words of Life and acknowledge the rightness of God’s way, lest through disobedience from pride and standing, you end up rejecting God’s purpose. Luke 7

May you accept the good counsel of God, which draws you from error into light with loving concern, that you may be a child of Wisdom, growing with insight and favor with God in the glad tidings brought by the instruction of His Word, lest you deride and vilify the grace of God. Luke 7

May you give praise to the Lord, to God your Savior, Who daily bears your burdens, for He is a God Who saves, and from the Sovereign Lord comes escape from death. Psalm 68

May God give power and strength to you as you sing praise to the Lord, Who rides the ancient skies above, thundering with a mighty voice, whose majesty is over His people, for He is awesome in His sanctuary. Psalm 68

May you live and go in to take possession of the land of the inner man that the Lord, the God of your fathers, is giving you as you hear the decrees and laws that you are taught, and follow them. Deuteronomy 4

May you hold fast to the Lord your God to follow His ways and live, for He will destroy all around you who reject His ways to follow the ways of the world and of the adversary of God. Deuteronomy 4

May you carefully observe the precepts you are taught, for this will show your wisdom and understanding to the nations. Deuteronomy 4

May you be careful and watch yourself closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live, but teach them to the children God brings to you and to their children after them. Deuteronomy 4

May you not be enticed into bowing down yourself and giving the worship of your heart to the things the Lord your God has created and apportioned to all the nations under heaven, but honor God, the Creator, as is His due, above all the awesomeness of His creation. Deuteronomy 4

May the desires of your carnal nature and the temptations of the natural and spiritual realm not entice you to turn to the things given by God as blessings and attempt to serve that which was made to serve you, but ever recall the covenant of God and worship only the Lord, the majestic Creator and worthy Redeemer, Who has claimed you for Himself. Deuteronomy 4

May you seek the Lord your God when you are in distress, for you will find him if you look for Him with all your heart and with all your soul, for He is a merciful God and He will not abandon or destroy you or forget His covenant with you which He confirmed by oath. Deuteronomy 4

May you honor God for His awesomeness and fear Him with reverential obedience, for He is the One Who has drawn you to Himself out of the world by testings, by miraculous signs and wonders, by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, and by great and awesome deeds, so that you might know that the Lord is God and besides Him there is no other. Deuteronomy 4

May you walk in confidence before the Lord your God for because of His love for you, He brought you out of captivity by His Presence and His great strength to drive out before you powers greater and stronger than you and to bring you into the land they occupied to give it to you for your inheritance, even today. Deuteronomy 4

May you acknowledge and take to heart this day that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth below, and there is no other, and then keep His Word and follow His ways which the Spirit reveals to you from the Word and guides you in through His faithfulness so that it may go well with you and those who come with you, and you may live long in the kingdom of God which He gives you for all time. Deuteronomy 4

My child, I have called you to be a laborer for Me in the vineyard, harvesting the crop, for the end of the season is drawing near.
It is My joy to provide for you in the labor, equipping you with tools, training you in their techniques, and strengthening you for their use. My Spirit goes before you, giving you wisdom and understanding, to point out the clusters when they are ripest, to see the leaves giving too much shade, to catch the foxes that spoil the vines.
When I walked the earth, I demonstrated how the crop was to be harvested, so I understand the trials the work brings and the challenges you face. Rely on Me for what you need, My brave one, trust in My ways and words.
Though you have tools you have used for years, yield them to Me and let the Spirit teach you to use Mine. Though you bring much experience with you, My little one, submit those years to Me and let My Spirit renew your youth, becoming as a child in My service, growing in wisdom and grace in the sight of God and man.
Though you have developed great endurance, My chosen one, rest in Me and let the Spirit turn your stolid resignation into joyful exuberance, for therein will you find the strength to run and not be weary.
It is My delight to have set aside My royal titles and names of authority in order to be called the “Son of man” and the first-born of many brethren; count it all joy in your life to receive the same power of God that raised Me from the dead and allow it to renew your mind, heal your thoughts, write My words on your heart, and empower you to do My work, for no spiritual success can ever come from your natural strength.
Let the light and the life of the Spirit which lifts the sorrowing, strengthens the weak, works justice for the abused, and resurrects the hopes of those who were dying and doomed, flow through your life as you humbly seek the will of the Father and meekly obey the Word of the Lord, pointing people to Me, and leaving them at My feet, thereby bringing honor to the One you love.

May you draw near and touch the Lord in the regular private daily conversations of your spirit and continually be changed in His presence by the power of His love, bringing healing ever deeper into your heart and mind, where the true source of much ongoing pain and illness can be found. Luke 6

May you find the blessings of your needs and realize the benefits of your afflictions, for the righteous judgments of God will bring joyous laughter to those who mourn now for sin, satiation to those who hunger and thirst now for the beauty of His holiness, comfort and acceptance to those who are reviled, excluded, hated, and rejected now by others for the sake of the Lord, and the eternal richness of His fellowship and presence in the kingdom of God to those who are willing to make themselves poor in the spirit by casting off their pride and arrogance, forsaking their earthly status and reputation, emptying themselves of any privileges or honor, that they may, in humility, serve those who are called to be heirs of salvation, bringing the truth of the Word and the love of the Father to those who live in darkness but are wooed by the Spirit. Luke 6, Philippians 2

May you understand the truth that a student does not know more than his teacher or receive greater honor than his master, but one who is fully trained will behave just like his instructor. Luke 6

May you be motivated by the God-given desire to help your brother remove the sawdust from his eye and see better, to first remove the plank from yours, enabling you to see clearly enough to be of help to him. Luke 6

May you store up the good things God gives you so that you may bring them out of your heart for others, for out of the overflow of the Father’s heart should our mouths speak. Luke 6

May you hear the words of God and put them into practice so that you will be able to stand firmly when the floods strike and not fall. Luke 6

May your love for those dear to you and near your heart motivate you to exercise faith in the love and power of God as described in His Word and learned through experience by revelation of His Spirit. Luke 7

May God arise and His enemies be scattered, His foes flee before Him as smoke is blown away by the wind and the wicked perish before God as wax melts before the fire. Psalm 68

May the righteous be glad and rejoice before God, and be happy and joyful in songs of praise to His name, extolling Him Who rides on the clouds, and rejoicing before Him Who is a father to the fatherless and a defender of widows from out of His holy dwelling, setting the lonely in families and leading forth the prisoners with singing. Psalm 68

May you abide in the righteousness of Christ, engrafted in the True Vine, nourished by the living water supplied by the Root, that you may flourish, growing in grace and spiritual beauty, bearing fruit for the pleasure of the Husbandman and the joy of the Vine-Dresser, not trusting in riches of this world which will pass away or relying on the strength and wisdom of the carnal mind which will fail, lest you wither and fall as a leaf cut off from his Source of Life. Proverbs 11:28

March 24

Psalm 4:8 In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for You alone, O LORD, make me to dwell in safety.

2 Corinthians 5:18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to Himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation;

Romans 4:6-8 David also spoke of this when he described the happiness of those who are declared righteous without working for it: 7 “Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sins are put out of sight. 8 Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of sin.”

James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you

Psalm 19:9-10 The judgments of the Lord are… 10 more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb.

1 Chronicles 16:8 Call upon His name…

May you be prepared for change in your spirit and ready to obey when your time of testing and humbling, of being disciplined and taught, of being kept waiting for deliverance and enlargement is done, and the Lord says that you have traveled this wilderness enough, directing you to turn your efforts to the north, toward spiritual battle, toward His eternal promise. Deuteronomy 2

May you walk in meekness toward your brothers as servants before them, being careful to cause them no harm nor to provoke them to anger for though they do not follow your path, they are the Lord’s and have fought their own battles to receive His promise to them. Deuteronomy 2

May the Lord your God bless you in all the work of your hands, watching over your journey through the world, for He has been, and will be, with you, and you have lacked nothing. Deuteronomy 2

May God give you a willing heart and make your spirit humble and obedient to His Word in order to show forth His mercy and grace by His workmanship in you. Deuteronomy 2

May you not be afraid of the powers that resist your growth and expansion into the land of your soul and that stand against the establishment of the holiness of God in the land of your heart, for they are not resisting you, but God. He will give to you the weapons of your warfare through the Spirit and the Word, and none shall be able to stand against them or successfully resist you as you march in obedience to the Spirit’s direction. Deuteronomy 3

May you be encouraged and strengthened when you consider the victories in your own life which the Lord has already wrought, and go forth to overcome the issues which still rise up and cause you struggles. This way, through the Spirit and the Word, you may obtain the mastery of your own vessel in purity and honor for the Lord your God Himself will fight for you. Deuteronomy 3, 1 Thessalonian 4

My child, let faith calm your fears, even in the deepest struggles and the most intense battles. Know that I have not forsaken you, for I do not change.
The way you have known Me to be in peaceful times and calm situations, so I am, unchanged, when circumstances are overturned and conditions are reversed. Although you are in a different situation, I have not left you, and My grace is ever with you.
If you have made willful choices apart from My leading, I am still ready to receive you back and make a way out for you; if the assignment I have given you has led you here, it is My power that keeps you and My will that proscribes what the enemy can and cannot do to you.
When you consider My servant Paul and remember the persecutions, shipwreck, beatings and imprisonment he endured, you never see him bereft of My love. When you read about My servant Peter, making rash choices, being in trouble with authorities, at times in chains, you never see him out of reach of My hand.
Even the times that I contended with the Temple leaders, with the synagogue leaders, with the town’s people, even when I struggled in prayer in the garden against the onslaught of the enemy, you see that I was not abandoned in the grave, but resurrected in glory and am now seated in authority on the right hand of the Father. The very powers that sought to overwhelm Me have been broken and destroyed.
By faith, My precious one, realize that it is not the battle you are in or the struggle that you face which is important; rather it is in Whom you abide, and it is the faith you have in the promise you have received.
By the discernment of the Father, you will be able to see the victory even when the odds appear to be stacked against you. You will learn more about the creative and unexpected ways that I, your Redeemer and King, will never fail to faithfully keep you when I bring My will to pass, setting your feet on solid ground.

May you be merciful, just as your Father in heaven is merciful. Luke 6

May God be gracious to you and bless you and make His face shine upon you that His ways may be known on earth and His salvation among all nations. Psalm 67

May you praise God with all the peoples, and the nations be glad and sing for joy, for He rules the peoples justly and guides the nations of the earth. Psalm 67

May you praise God with all the peoples for then the land will yield its harvest and God, our God, will bless you and all the ends of the earth will fear Him. Psalm 67

May you seek good for then you will find goodwill. Proverbs 11:27
