April 30

Luke 6:36 Be ye…merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

Ephesians 4:31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.

Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Philemon 1:6 I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ.

1 Corinthians 9:25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.

Psalm 139:23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxious thoughts; 24 and see if there be any hurtful way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way.

May you know that your past and your history is not who you are, for in Christ you have been made a new creation, cleansed and transformed into pliable, mold-able material for the Lord to shape into His appearance. Therefore allow the truth of His Word and the power of His Spirit to change your heart of stone to a heart of flesh and learn to walk, not in your carnal understanding, but in the reverent obedience and fearful awe of the Lord. Judges 11

May you not have confidence in your strength or reliance in your wisdom, but grow in the knowledge of the grace of God. Enter into the trusting reliance and rest of the Lord, Who is the Beginning and the Conclusion, and has made plans at each step to do you good in the end, being the Author and Completer of your faith. He has prepared your required provision, both spiritually and materially, for each day and each need, that He may be your Source. Therefore give Him the glory which is His due and the praise for which He is worthy. Judges 11

May you submit to the One Who saves and rescues you, yielding your will to His, acknowledging His strength that brings you victory, and confessing His right to receive your obedience and labor in His service, knowing that in His proven love for you, no eternal harm will be done, though the work may be hard and the assignments may prove painful, for His grace is sufficient and His joy is never-ending. Judges 11

May you give to the Lord the honor and respect due to Him through the faithful usage and obedient employment of all that you have received from Him, for you have nothing that has not come from the Lord your Provider. Judges 11

May you walk in the Spirit of God with the fortitude of mind, the courage of heart, and the zeal for the Lord as you obey the King of kings, both in overcoming the enemies of the Lord that oppress the inner land of your soul, cleansing it for His holy presence to dwell therein, and in the humble servitude to others through which the kingdom of God is extended, knowing that by your seeking His will and faithfully obeying, His praise will be declared by His people and His glory will be shown to the world. Judges 11

May you encourage others in their struggles and rejoice with others in their victories, not quarreling in jealousy or contending in pride, but joining in care for one another, expressing acceptance in diversity, extending grace through maturity, and demonstrating love in unity, esteeming others with the significance the Father bestows upon them, Who considered them precious enough for His Son to die for them. Judges 12

May God grant that you enjoy the fellowship of the Lord and walk peacefully with your brethren as a productive and useful servant of your Master, with a clean heart toward Him and a peaceful mind toward others. Judges 12

I am of no use to you, My child, if you only know about Me.
The words used by others to describe Me can paint a realistic-appearing portrait of Me in your mind, but they can only encourage you to know Me for yourself. Their words in your ears can never be a substitute for hearing My words speaking life into your heart, for the portrait is never the person.
Knowledge of My acts, knowledge of My words, even knowledge of My ways may see you through when events are calm and the water is unruffled. But in the turmoil which you will be facing you must know the Person in Whom you believe and to Whom you need to call in order for your faith to catch traction and be of any benefit.
Faith in a concept will not see you through – you will need to catch My hand in order to keep from sinking.

May the Word, which was in the beginning, dwell richly in you, and may the life of the Word be the light that those in darkness see from you. John 1

May you receive the One Who made the world, believing in His name, that you may receive the right to become one of His children, born of God. John 1

May you receive the grace and truth which comes through Jesus Christ, Who fulfilled the law which was given through Moses, for from the fullness of His grace we have all received one blessing after another. John 1

May you sing praise to the Lord because of His love and justice, and be careful to lead a blameless life so you will be ready when He comes to you. Psalm 101

May you walk in your house with a blameless heart before God because you set before your eye no vile thing. Psalm 101

May the transgressions of those powers and principalities which choose not to follow the way of the Lord fail to cling to or grasp hold of you and may you reject devious and perverse ideas, being intimate or involved with nothing of evil. Psalm 101

May you put to silence any influencing whispers in your mind which slander your neighbors in secret, and may you not tolerate, or walk in agreement with, any authorities or powers which have haughty eyes and a proud heart. Psalm 101

May you search out the faithful in the land that you may keep their company, and may you accept ministry from those whose walk is blameless and follows the way of integrity. Psalm 101

May you understand that the sorrow of this life and pain of your struggles are a part of the growth that God leads us through, faithfully attending you and never forsaking you, even as Christ, in the midst of His triumphal entry to Jerusalem, carried in His heart the approaching burden of the cross, which He endured for the eternal joy of bringing many to the Father. Proverbs 14:13

May you be satisfied from above, as a good man is, and your soul filled with awe toward the Lord whereas a heart that turns from God becomes bored with its own ways and the disloyal or faithless one will pay for his behavior. Proverbs 14:14

April 29

Matthew 6:19-20 Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust consume and where thieves break in and steal; 20 but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven.

Luke 12:18-19 The rich man said, “I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. 19 And I will say to my soul, ‘Soul, you have ample goods laid up for many years; relax, eat, drink, be merry.’”

Deuteronomy 4:29 But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find Him if you look for Him with all your heart and with all your soul.

Revelation 22:12-14 And, behold, I come quickly; and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14 Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Genesis 2:17 But you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will surely die.

Revelation 22:21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.

May you know that wickedness which is committed to gain earthly authority is a foundation that will quickly fail, but righteousness performed in humility will bring enduring reward. Judges 9

May you realize that those who put their trust in concepts and powers that deny the truth of God will not find help when they need it, for it will be a staff that breaks when they lean on it for support, piercing their hand and wrenching their back. But confidence placed in God and faith based on the promises in His Word will be a shield of protection against all attack and a strong foundation for all that His Spirit leads you to do. Judges 9

May you be blessed to live during the times of righteous leaders and know quiet and peaceable times, for humble, active and useful rulers yield little news and make few headlines. Judges 10

May you serve the Lord as you get rid of the earlier influences within you and allow the Lord to do with you whatever He thinks best so that He may rescue you from further misery. Judges 10

Do you long for the green pastures and the peaceful waters that you recall from the past, My child? Are the memories of the quiet days in calm circumstances your solace in your present circumstances?
Those were the sheltered times I give to newborns, My love. That is when I teach the newly-arrived in My kingdom to know My voice. That is when I allow no doubts or questions to plague you while you are building relationship with Me.
From there, once you are strong enough, I bring you out of the shelter where the wind can strike you and where briars and thorns are found among the pasture, and sudden storms can bring cold rain and fearful thunder. In it all, My dear one, I have never stopped being your Shepherd.
I never sleep, I am never distracted, I am always guarding you from the enemies who circle, looking to devour you. Though you mingle with goats, I know all that are mine, and I put a difference between you and them. They do not have My care, though they are found among My flock, and in the times of testing, the occasions of My judgment, those differences are noticeable.
Remember My voice, My chosen one, and do not follow after the other herd or heed the voice of the other shepherds, though the pressure is great to follow the larger numbers. You are Mine, and I am Yours, and it is My rod and My staff that bring you comfort in the wilderness.
Stay close to My side during these current times, and know My shielding love.

May you allow the Lord to open your mind so you can understand the Scriptures, for He will send you to be witnesses of His promises as you are clothed with power from on high. Luke 24

May your eyes be opened to recognize Jesus in others whenever the bread of His Word is blessed, broken, and shared with each other. Luke 24

May you shout for joy to the Lord and worship the Lord with gladness, coming before Him with joyful songs, knowing and acknowledging that the Lord is God. For it is He Who made us, and we are His people, the sheep of His pasture. Psalm 100

May you enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise, giving thanks to Him as you praise His name, for the Lord is good and His love endures forever, even as His faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalm 100

April 28

Romans 8:38-39 Neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Psalm 139:14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

1 Peter 5:10 And the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.

May you walk humbly before the Lord, avoiding the pride of life and lust of the eyes, remembering always that though the victory was yours, the power, and the glory, is God’s. Judges 8

May you understand that fruitfulness in God and service to man does not require man’s titles or recognition. Judges 9

May you be certain that as you die to yourself, others will be watching and see the hand of God, giving glory to Him. Luke 23

May you know that God has placed His people, good and upright individuals where they are needed, to occupy until He calls for their service, at which time they will be revealed to provide support and encouragement. Luke 23

May you wait patiently through your times of puzzlement and perplexity, trusting in God’s promise as received through His Word until understanding arrives through the ministry of His Spirit. Luke 24

Rejoice in the refreshing I send you, My child, and receive the blessings of My presence.
You must acknowledge Me, My dear one, to receive Me, just as the door must be opened to allow the One outside to come in and have fellowship with you.
What sweet fellowship I desire with you, and what joys I have prepared for your heart! By offering Me praise, My love, the gates of your life are opened to Me, and by worshiping Me in our times together I am able to enter in triumphal procession, taking captive those thoughts and feelings which try to infiltrate and dissuade you with unrest.
Let the light of My Word fill your mind and the fountain of the life in the Spirit bring refreshing and enjoyment in the cleanliness and holiness that you desire!

May you exalt the Lord your God and worship at His holy mountain for the Lord your God is holy. Psalm 99

May the Lord your God answer you for He is a forgiving God, although He punishes misdeeds. Psalm 99

May you exalt the Lord your God and worship at His footstool for He is holy, mighty, and loves justice, having established equity. Psalm 99

May you praise His great and awesome name, for the Lord is great in Zion where He reigns over the nations as they tremble, and sits enthroned between the cherubim. Psalm 99

April 27

Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

James 1:26 If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless.

2 Timothy 2:4 No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs – he wants to please his commanding officer.

Hebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider {and} give attentive, continuous care to watching over one another, studying how we may stir up (stimulate and incite) to love {and} helpful deeds {and} noble activities, 25 Not forsaking {or} neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Ephesians 2:19 Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of His household.

May you be able to see and understand, that when God reduces your resources, you will get the victory and He will receive the glory. Judges 7

May you come to realize that if you are fearful and not trusting God, or if you pridefully trust in your own strength and are not dependent on God, He will do His work through other vessels. Judges 7

May you worship God and give Him praise on the occasion of each blessing and every event that encourages your faith and deepens your trust in Him. Judges 7

May you rejoice that the surpassing greatness of the glory and power of God which brings light to the lives of men is contained in your earthen vessel, your jar of clay, and be glad when the Lord brings you to the breaking point to release the riches of His Spirit and His Word. Judges 7

May you have the wisdom of God to respond in humility and meekness before unjust accusations. Judges 8

May you be willing to respond to a call for help from your brothers and fellow-workers in the harvest, providing the support and encouragement needed for the job being done. Judges 8

May you be willing to act upon your belief in the Son of Man rather than give in to the opinions of the crowd or the pressures of secular and religious authorities. Luke 23

May you find tears, not for the suffering and pain Jesus endured, but for your own sin which brought the punishment of God upon Him, and through those tears, receive the joy of salvation that Jesus freely gives to those who turn from the wickedness of evil ways to follow Him. Luke 23

Come freely, My child, and receive gladly from Me all that you need for every task you face.
Have I not given you the day today? Have I not preordained that you should know My will? Have I not already paid the price and covered the cost, even from the foundation of the world, for all that you need?
Am I not already, in eternity, the One Who authored, created, planted your faith and have watched over it, encouraging you with words and signs and deeds to make your faith grow and prosper?
Have I not declared that I will complete that which I start and see through to the end that which I have ordained, right down to the very last detail and the smallest issue, putting the final polish and finish to it?
Why hesitate, My needy one? Do you still trust your own strength? Do you fear rebuke and reproof? Do you feel unworthy?
Look into My love and let it melt your fear, dissolving it; learn from what I have done to understand how much I value you. Remember where you have come from and recognize the broken cistern that you try to draw from.
Drink deeply from My springs, My love, and never feel want again.

May you be glad and rejoice with the distant shores that the Lord reigns, for the heavens proclaim His righteousness and all the peoples see His glory. Psalm 97

May you hate evil as do all those who love the Lord, for He guards the lives of His faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked, shedding light on the righteous and joy on the upright in heart so that all who are righteous will rejoice in the Lord and praise His holy name. Psalm 97

May you hear and rejoice, as do all those who are glad because of the judgments of the Lord, for He is the Most High over all the earth and is exalted far above all gods. Psalm 97

May you sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have worked salvation for Him, making known His salvation and revealing His righteousness to the nations, for He has remembered His love and His faithfulness to His people and all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of God. Psalm 98

May you shout for joy to the Lord, along with all the earth, bursting into jubilant song with music from the harp, with trumpets, and the blast of the ram’s horn, shouting for joy before the Lord, the King. Psalm 98

May you have the wisdom and shrewdness to discern and understand where you are going, as do the prudent and the sensible, avoiding the deception which is the folly of fools. Proverbs 14:8

April 26

Acts 3:19 Repent,…and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out.

Proverbs 3:26 For the Lord shall be thy confidence.

Zephaniah 3:17 …He will rejoice over you with singing.

Psalm 61:2 From the end of the earth I will cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

Ezekiel 11:19 And I shall give them one heart, and shall put a new spirit within them. And I shall take the heart of stone out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh.

May you accept the Lord’s designation for you, as Gideon did, and walk as the Spirit leads, doing the work He assigns, so that His judgment is executed, His people are freed, and His glory is proclaimed. Judges 6

May you understand that when God moves in your heart to bring you up higher in His Spirit and draw you deeper in His love that it is not enough to no longer worship at the “altars” in your life, but know that they must be thrown down and rebuilt into a true altar of God, though your choices and actions raise controversy among others, for it will bring conviction to their hearts. Judges 6

May you be encouraged to know and understand that God is able to distinguish the “fleece” that is you among the vastness of the threshing floor to bless you and not overlook you, and will make a difference between you and all whose hearts are not toward the Lord as He did in Egypt when He passed over His chosen. Judges 6

May the joy of the Lord be your strength to stand in the face of opposition, lest you feel that the strength of man can be your joy, for then you would fall, as Peter did. Luke 22

When you find yourself in the midst of failure, may you know that the Lord is looking at you, not in condemnation or surprise, but in acceptance and understanding for He knows your frame, in loving rebuke and conviction for He loves you too much to leave you where you are, and in compassion and grace for He has made the way for your repentance and return. Luke 22

May you stand strong and confident without fear in obedience to God, humbly relying on His care, meekly accepting without defense that which comes, following Jesus’ example, answering only the authority of God, not the authority of man, knowing the righteous judgment of God will supersede the unjust judgment of man. Luke 23

May you be assured that God hears and answers each humble request made in honesty and based in necessity, but He resists the proud and will not hear requests made to gratify curiosity. Luke 23

Feel My supporting grace, My child, and know that I am always with you, never leaving you or forsaking you.
Receive My peace of mind, My dear one, and understand that the depths of My love have never been plumbed and the width of My compassion has never been discovered.
There is always sufficient abundance for your needs as you seek Me and desire to know Me better, nearer, more intimately. Mistakes and missteps made in your approach to Me are forgiven and corrected as My guidance is accepted with a humble heart and a contrite spirit.
Fear of man departs as you trust in Me and accept My love, for you will see that My embracing arms, so tender and gentle to your wounded heart, are strong to defend like shielding walls against any who would touch you, My treasure, without love as their motive.
Anchor your heart in Me, My beloved, and be settled in your spirit. I will send you out to do My work, but you must wait on Me.
Do not let the perceived needs draw you from My sheltering wings to go on your own or do in yourself, for that is a distraction. Be My sent-one, and see My Spirit and My Word accompany you to teach all nations, baptizing them in My name, and make disciples.
I do not send you to settle disputes and divide inheritances and to be, unto them, God, but to point them to Me that they may have their needs met through their relationship with Me.
Stay within My sheltering arms, My loved one. Do not wander off on your own, but go where I send you, and you will never be out of My loving sight or My protective reach.

May you sing for joy to the Lord and shout aloud to the Rock of your salvation as you come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song for the Lord is the great God and King above all gods, possessing the mountain peaks and the seas which His hands have made, and holding the depths of the earth in His hand. Psalm 95

May you bow down in worship, kneeling before the Lord your Maker, for His is your God and you are one of the people of His pasture, part of the flock under His care. Psalm 95

May you hear His voice and yield your heart, following His ways, that you may enter into His rest. Psalm 95

May you sing to the Lord a new song as all the earth praises His name, and may you proclaim His salvation day after day, declaring His glory among the nations and His marvelous deeds among all peoples, for the Lord is great and most worthy of praise – He is the One to be feared above all gods for He made the heavens, splendor and majesty are before Him, and strength and glory are in His sanctuary. Psalm 96

May you ascribe to the Lord the strength and glory due His name as you bring an offering and come into His courts, worshiping the Lord in the splendor of His holiness as all the earth trembles before Him. Psalm 96

Matthew 5:16 Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Philippians 3:8-9 …that I may gain Christ, 9 and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own…but that which is through faith in Christ…

Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

Genesis 39:2-3 The Lord was with Joseph, and he became a successful man, and he was in the house of his Egyptian master. 3 His master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord caused all that he did to succeed in his hands.

Psalm 23:4 Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me.

May you keep yourself stirred up to actively continue seeking the Lord, even when you have peace from struggle, for God is gracious and will meet your needs, bringing strife into your life if you are not able stand firm in the face of prosperity. Judges 4

May you obey the Lord and follow His guidance, else the honor of victor will go to another, for the glory will always go to the Lord. Judges 4

May you not depend on man’s strength or weapons’ numbers, for that which replaces God in your heart will change quickly from a source to a burden, and that which you are sick for will quickly become that which you are sick of. Judges 4

May you not be counted among those who stayed away from the conflict with the wickedness of the enemy of God, but may you be found in faithful obedience to the call and message of God to go forth when the time comes and stand against the spiritual wickedness in heavenly places to resist the enemy which seeks to hold captive those who have called on the name of the Lord. Judges 5

May you be willing to exchange the cloak of your leisurely comfort for the sword of the Lord as you spend your personal time in study of the Word in order to know the truth of the Lord by which you will be armed and prepared for the spiritual warfare the foe of God will bring upon you. Luke 22

Lift up your soul to Me, My child, that your heart may pour forth the praise that is welling up in response to the blessings you have received from Me.
Lift up your voice, My loved one, that the words filling your mouth may express worship to Me, contrition from you, intercession for others.
Lift up your hands, My dear one, for I am high and lifted up, exalted above all the earth, and living in a high and holy place, and I bend down to meet you as you lift up your soul to rise and come away with Me.
For it is as you seek first the kingdom of God that all the things you need shall be added to you. Will you feast on the Word, but die of starvation? Will you be clothed with the robes of righteousness, but be left without warm clothes?
Do not go forth on your own as a worker in My field, but wait on Me to call you forth, that you may know My heart, learn My ways, be taught My guidance. I have many fields; wheat, barley, dill, and cummin, and each is harvested at different times just as each is threshed in different ways.
Do not seek My gifts, My eager worker, but seek Me, yield to Me, submit to Me, for I have fashioned you and shaped you, and will place you where I have prepared you for once you have placed Me first in your heart and known My love in your life.

May You shine forth, O Lord, the God Who avenges, and rise up as Judge of the earth, paying back to the proud what they deserve, lest the wicked be jubilant and exult in their triumph, arrogantly crushing Your people, Lord, and boastfully oppressing Your inheritance by slaying the widow and foreigner then murdering the fatherless, for they claim You do not see and will not take notice. Psalm 94

May you be blessed by the discipline of the Lord as He teaches you His ways, granting you relief from days of trouble as He guides you along His paths, giving you respite from your enemies while God traps and destroys them, for He will not reject His people and will never forsake His prize inheritance, but will once again cause judgment to be founded on righteousness, and all the upright in heart will rejoice in following it. Psalm 94

When doubts fill your mind and your heart is in turmoil, may the Lord quiet you and give you renewed hope and cheer, bringing you consolation through His joy. Psalm 94

May the Lord, your Fortress, and God, the Rock in Whom you take refuge, make the sins of evil men rebound upon them, destroying them by their own plans, for He will not let a corrupt throne rule under His protection when it brings on misery by its decrees, permitting wrong to defeat right, nor will He approve of the wicked who band together against the righteous and condemn the innocent to death, but will cut them off and destroy them for their wickedness. Psalm 94

May the words of your mouth protect and preserve you, just as the lips of the wise keep them safe, for provocation and disgrace are in the mouth of a fool and his proud talk brings a rod of discipline against his back. Proverbs 14:3

April 24

John 8:12 [Jesus] said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

May you be among others as the youngest, and as one who serves those around you, for though the Lord has given you to eat and drink at His table, you are to follow His example as He moves among us as the Servant of all. Luke 22

May you know, and be certain of the fact, that the Lord is interceding for you so your faith will not fail, and you will be able to strengthen your brothers as you draw closer to God. Luke 22

The seasons and cycles of your life are ordained by Me, My child, and are a natural and beneficial process that you go through.
Just as day follows night, there are times of plenty and of famine, times of great awareness of My presence and times when you feel alone. This is part of the mutability and changeableness of the natural world.
Since I am spirit, and I inhabit eternity, there is no shadow of turning with Me, for I change not, but your awareness of Me drifts and shifts.
Although the sun disappears for the night, it will return unchanged. Even though the sun shines constantly, the wobble of the Earth changes how much heat comes through the atmosphere, causing winter and summer. The sun has not changed, for it puts out the same light and heat, but Earth has inclined away from it.
There are times for rest and consolidation, My precious one, that I build into your life to prepare you for the times of activity and vigorous growth and ministry. This, too, will run its course in due time and, like the seventy disciples sent out to minister, you will return to Me for further teaching and growth.
Let your faith rise, for it will carry you through the quiet times, and let My Spirit teach you to be, before He leads you forth to do.

May you praise the Lord and make music to the name of the Most High, proclaiming His love in the morning and His faithfulness at night. Psalm 92

May you be made glad by His deeds and sing for joy at the works of His hands, for the works of the Lord are great and His thoughts are profound and, while the wicked will be destroyed, the Lord is exalted forever. Psalm 92

May the Lord increase your strength and bring fresh vigor to your life as your eyes see the defeat of your adversaries and your ears hear of the rout of your foes. Psalm 92

May you flourish like a palm tree and grow like a cedar of Lebanon, for the Lord will plant you in the house of God so that you may flourish in the courts of the Lord, bearing fruit in old age, remaining fresh and green as you proclaim, “The Lord is upright; He is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in Him.” Psalm 92

May you confess that the Lord reigns and is robed in majesty, armed with strength, and His throne has been established from all eternity. Psalm 93

May the statues of the Lord stand firm and holiness adorn the house of the Lord for endless days. Psalm 93

May you fear the Lord, as all who walk uprightly do, rather than despising Him as do those whose ways are devious. Proverbs 14:2

April 23

Jude 1:20-21 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.

John 4:23-24 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.

1 Peter 4:7 The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray.

Jeremiah 10:23 Lord, I know that people’s lives are not their own; it is not for them to direct their steps.

John 16:13 Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come.

Zechariah 4:6 …Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit’, says the LORD of hosts.

May you resist the influences and principalities which inhabit the land God has directed you to cleanse and make ready for His kingdom, the fertile and abundant territory of your thoughts and emotions where God’s creativity can abide, and make no agreement with those corrupting powers, refusing to allow them to serve you in any way, lest you end up serving them as they become thorns in your side and a snare to your heart. Judges 2

May you have the eyes to see and the understanding to realize, when you notice these things happening, that the kingdom of God is near, for heaven and earth will pass away, but the Word of God will never pass away. Luke 21

May you take heed to yourself, and constantly be on your guard, aware lest at any time your heart grow cold because it is weighed down and dulled from self-indulgence, excess, and the cares and worries of your life in this world, but always be on watch, alert, and pray constantly that you may be found worthy to receive the strength to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able, in that day, to stand before the Son of Man. Luke 21

May the Lord be your dwelling place throughout all the years of your life, for before the mountains were born or the world was brought forth, from everlasting to everlasting, He is God, to Whom a thousand years are like a day just gone by. Psalm 90

May you learn from the Lord how to number your days aright, so that you may gain a heart of wisdom, for who knows the power of His anger since His wrath is as great as the fear that is due Him. Psalm 90

May you sing for joy and be glad all your days when the Lord has compassion on His servants and satisfies you in the morning with His unfailing love, making you glad for as many days as you have been afflicted, for as many years as you have seen trouble, so that His deeds and splendor may be shown to His servants. Psalm 90

May the favor of the Lord your God rest upon you to establish the work of your hands. Psalm 90

Turn to Me, My child, only to Me, that your testimony may be pure.
I am not a concept or a vague, impersonal power – I am your loving Creator, resurrected Savior, living Redeemer, and soon-returning King. You must know Me personally to introduce Me, by your witness and testimony, to those who are seeking Me.
Know Me, not as a tradition or as someone else’s benefactor, but personally, individually. Bring Me your needs and receive My abundance. Share your burdens and let Me lighten your load. Pour out your sorrows and know My joy. Confess your sins and receive My forgiveness and acceptance. See My wounds, and receive your healing. View My death, and partake in My life.
If you are not changed by My Presence, if you are not convicted by My holiness, if you are not humbled by My majesty, if your world is not turned upside down by My revelation, then it is not Me that you are learning of.
Learn truth and wisdom of Me as you study My Word and let it renew your mind. Come into My presence through worshipful praise, and let your times of prayer draw My Spirit to you as He helps you pray those things on My heart for which you have no words. Walk with Me through the marketplace and the byways as I pursue those whose hearts are mine, those who feel the drawing of My love but are held captive by the enemy of their souls, those of My sheep who have lost their way back or been injured.
Let your voice speak My words of life to them and proclaim liberty and victory over them. Let your hands and feet find practical expression of My love for them in ways that bring solace to their souls and healing to their hearts.
Philosophy reaches the minds of the hearers, but cannot touch their hearts; religion can reach the soul but does not change the spirit. I am the way, the truth and the life, and it is through Me, the Door to the kingdom, that all must enter who come to the Father.
Abide in Me in humility and obedience so that I may abide in you in truth and in power, and the will of the Father be done in earth as it is in heaven.

May you dwell in the shelter of the Most High and rest in the shadow of the Almighty, saying of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” He will save you from the fowler’s snare and the deadly pestilence, covering you with His feathers so that you will find refuge under His wings and be shielded and protected by His faithfulness. Psalm 91

May you not fear the terror of night nor the arrow flying by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday, for though a thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, it will not come near you, and you will only observe it with your eyes as you see the punishment of the wicked. Psalm 91

May you make the Most High your dwelling, even the Lord, Who is your refuge, for then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your dwelling. He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways, and they will lift you up in their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone, even though you will trample the great lion and the serpent. Psalm 91

May you love the Lord, for then He will rescue you and protect you because you acknowledge His name, calling upon Him for He will answer and be with you in trouble, delivering you and honoring you, satisfying you with long life and showing you His salvation. Psalm 91

May you accept the love of the Father as it is demonstrated in His discipline, for those to whom He spares the rod are those whom He hates. Proverbs 13:24

May you dine at the Lord’s table and be refreshed to your heart’s content, as the righteous do, and never be hungry for lack of the Living Bread as the wicked are. Proverbs 13:25

Psalm 39:7 O Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in you.

Proverbs 29:25 Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but trusting the Lord means safety.

1 Samuel 15:24 Then Saul admitted to Samuel, “Yes, I have sinned. I have disobeyed your instructions and the Lord’s command, for I was afraid of the people and did what they demanded.

Isaiah 48:17 Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: ‘I am the LORD your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go.'”

Proverbs 16:20 He who heeds the word wisely will find good, and whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he.

John 14:21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves Me; and he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I will love him, and will disclose Myself to him.

May you fear the Lord and serve Him with all faithfulness, throwing away those “powers” which are not, to which you had previously yielded your heart, for it is the Lord your God Who has brought you out of spiritual darkness and bondage, carrying you and sustaining you in ways you have seen with your own eyes, giving you victories over your carnal nature, the world’s system, and the principalities that stand against God Himself, His will, and His beloved ones, for it is God’s good pleasure to give you gifts you do not deserve and blessings you have not earned, that He would receive praise from you for His love, and glory from the people around you for His great power and faithfulness to His word and His promises toward you. Joshua 24

May you be willing to give from your need, when God directs, rather than just from your plenty, as you do. Luke 21

May you not be influenced by signs in the earth or claims of others or persecution by many, but be prepared to give witness to the Lord before authorities and leaders in the opportunities this will provide. Know that the words and wisdom that God will give you will be more than your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict. Though you will be hated, not a hair will perish and by standing firm and remaining faithful to the Lord, you will gain life. Luke 21

May you stand up and lift your head when you see signs in the sun, moon and stars, men fainting from terror of the present and apprehension for the future, and nations in anguish and perplexity. Though they are shaken and fearful, you are confident because your redemption is drawing near. Luke 21

Be strong, My child, be brave. Do not fear the terror by night, for I am with you to shield and defend you.
Finish the work before you, for I am with you to help and strengthen you. The work I give you is hard, but real, My love. It is not a formula to follow or a process to blindly repeat.
The work I set before you is unlike any you have done before, and it has great bearing on lives and hearts that I hold dear. Do not treat it as routine or expect it to be done on a schedule.
Be awake, My worker. Be alert to hear My voice guiding you, for you have not come this way for this purpose before.
Seek Me for the Life that will make My Word relevant, and for the anointing that will bring down the stronghold that resists your efforts. Pray My Word as never before; quote My promises back to Me in faith, knowing that I will remain faithful to what I have spoken.
In doing this, I extend My favor and power to move the mountains that the enemy has erected. You will be making straight the way of the Lord for all to follow that I am drawing to Myself. You will draw down My blessings richly on your children and your family.

May you praise the Lord forever for His great love which He has sworn in His faithfulness to give you, for He remembers how you have been mocked, and has heard the taunts with which your enemies have reproached your every step. Psalm 89

May the Lord accept and embrace you with His love, affirming His covenant to give of His authority to you, establishing and reinforcing His defenses around you. Your neighbors will exalt the Lord for His faithfulness and your foes will know the fear of the Lord as their weapons are broken in their hands. Psalm 89

May you walk with the people who have God’s wisdom so that you may grow wise also, rather than suffer the harm that a companion of fools will find. Proverbs 13:20

May you receive the blessings which reward the righteous, and avoid the misfortune which pursues the sinner. Proverbs 13:21

April 21

Jeremiah 2:2 I remember the devotion of your youth, how as a bride you loved Me and followed Me through the wilderness.

Philippians 1:20-21 I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. 21 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

Proverbs 18:9 He who is loose {and} slack in his work is brother to him who is a destroyer {and} {he who does not use his endeavors to heal himself is brother to him who commits suicide}.

Psalm 27:4 The one thing I ask of the Lord — the thing I seek most — is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple.

Philippians 2:15 that you may prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world,

Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the Lord your God…keeps His covenant and His lovingkindness to a thousandth generation with those who love Him and keep His commandments.

May you ever be prepared to answer with humility and sincerity any questions about your choices and your dedication to God in a spirit of peace. Joshua 22

May you be very strong and most careful to obey all that God directs you to do in days to come, without turning aside to the right or to the left. You have seen all that the Lord your God has done in times past to the powers which have resisted God’s will in your life, and how the Lord fought for you as you walked forward in confident obedience to take your allotted inheritance. He will push the enemy out before you, breaking their influence on those around you. You will take possession of your own nature – in your heart and in your mind – as the Lord your God has promised, while you reject and withstand those powers you once served, and hold fast to the Lord your God. Joshua 23

May you be certain to not associate or ally yourself with the stray impulses that remain in your heart and your mind after you are given the victory over a habit or influence that controlled you, or entertain the thoughts that lead into the snare again, for you may be sure that the Lord your God will then no longer drive out those powers from before you, but give you over to their hand. Joshua 23

May you be very careful to love the Lord your God above all else you hold dear, for the Lord has defeated all your enemies, from the least to the greatest, and no principality will be able to withstand you, therefore you will rout a thousand because the Lord your God fights for you, just as He promised. Joshua 23

May you know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the Lord your God has given you has failed, but every promise has been fulfilled. Joshua 23

Do you feel yourself small and alone, My child? Do you question how you can accomplish anything for My kingdom with your few and weak resources? Do you feel separated and isolated from the great works and monuments of religion?
Do not despair, My little one, but be strong and faithful as My disciple, continuing in the discipline I am teaching you, enduring in the path I set before you, standing firm in the truth I have shown you. Do not shrink back but persist as My true follower who holds fast to what you have of Me, and from Me, so that you will not suffer loss in My appearing.
I will make a little one to become a thousand, and the smallest a mighty nation. It will not require majestic architecture or awe-inspiring music or solemn ritual or other elements that touch the soul, for these inspire pride, which engenders rivalry and division.
It needs simply you, closeted with Me, knowing that I, your Redeemer, live. It needs only you allowing your heart to seek Me, to know Me in My fullness, to receive all I have for you, to find My heart of service.
Though it appears as drudgery, though it takes you where no one observes you, though it is unexceptional in the eyes of those with status in the world, humble yourself to express it to those I bring you to.
I am giving you the calm strength of faith to be exceptional in the ordinary things, to be holy in mean streets, to live an ordinary, unobserved, ignored existence as My disciple.
As you empty yourself, I will fill you, men will see My glory, and you will be a good and faithful servant, effective in My kingdom.

May you be counted worthy of taking part in the resurrection from the dead and the age to come where you can no longer die since you are a child of God. Luke 20

May you not be like those who enjoy the outward appearance of righteousness, and love the recognition of others, striving for the places of social prestige and public honor, yet acting without mercy toward those without power, and finding no grace to extend to others who do the same as themselves, for such people will be punished most severely. Luke 20

May you disregard the opportunities for an outward show of righteousness to gain the recognition of others, and disdain the options to strive for places of social prestige and public honor. May you, rather, focus instead on searching for those who need mercy and have no power to repay, giving grace to those who struggle in battle as you do, for this reflects the love of the Father as His son. Luke 20

May you learn to acclaim the Lord and walk in the light of His presence, for righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne and love, with faithfulness, go before Him. Psalm 89

May you rejoice in the name of the Lord all day long and exult in His righteousness for His is your glory and strength, and by His favor you are made strong – indeed, your shield belongs to the Lord, the Holy One of Israel. Psalm 89

May you call out to the Lord, “You are my Father, my God, the Rock my Savior,” for He has bestowed strength of a warrior on you and anointed you with His Spirit, sustaining you with His hand, strengthening you with His arm, allowing no enemy to subject you to tribute nor any wicked one to oppress you, crushing your foes before you and striking down your adversaries. Psalm 89

1 Corinthians 15:20 Christ has indeed been raised from the dead.

Philippians 4:20 To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Psalm 42:5 Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.

Philippians 4:13 I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me.

1 Chronicles 29:11 Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and the earth; Yours is the dominion, O LORD, and You exalt Yourself as head over all.

2 Corinthians 3:17 …and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

May the Lord give you all the territory He has promised you, as you move out in faithful obedience to His guidance and direction, to occupy and overcome by His strength and strategy, that you may have rest on every side, just as He has said, for not one of your spiritual enemies can withstand you when the Lord hands them over to you, because not one of all of the Lord’s promises will fail, but will all be fulfilled. Joshua 22

May you be very careful to keep the commands and the ways of the Lord that you have been given: to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, to obey His commands, to hold fast to Him and to serve Him with all your heart and all your soul. Joshua 22

May you understand that, though sin is immediately forgiven when repented of, others are affected and the lingering results must be walked out. Joshua 22

Remain alert, My child, and watch with the alertness of a sentry who knows the enemy is close. Watch with the confidence of one who knows the wiles and tricks of the enemy, and has been trained and equipped to recognize the attack and defeat it.
Watch with the assurance that others are near and will come to your aid if numbers are overwhelming and you need to raise the alarm. But watch also your heart, My brave one, lest whispers from the dark distract you and turn your attention elsewhere, leaving a gap in the hedge of protection around the camp.
Walk in the steadfast truth of My Word and the vigorous life of My Spirit, My vigilant one, ever practicing My Presence and acknowledging Me in prayerful conversation.
Keep My armor in place with sword and shield at the ready, for the lusts of the carnal heart wage war against your soul just as the wickedness of spiritual darkness seeks to devour you in the spirit.
Do not lose faith, My dear one, but know that I faced every attack that the enemy has when I walked the earth, and I defeated the foe thoroughly; therefore, when temptation comes, I can show you the weakness, the lie in what he says, the opening for the Sword of the Word to overcome and defeat the destruction the evil one wishes to cause in your life and the lives of those I have brought to you to love.
I have come to save My people from their sins, be they past habits, present weaknesses, things constantly seen and heard, or secret, sudden and surprising temptations. Let not your heart be troubled, for I have overcome the world and conquered death, hell, and the grave.
Walk alertly, My warrior, that you may walk in My victory as one who has overcome.

May you honestly answer the questions the Lord asks of you, for then you will know the answers to the questions you have for Him. Luke 20

May you recognize and respect the servants of your King so that you may receive with grace and honor the Son Whom the Father loves. Luke 20

May you accept in humility the authority of the Lord as the capstone, allowing your pride to be broken on Him, and rely in weakness on the support of the Lord as the keystone, allowing your self-sufficiency to be ground to a powder. Luke 20

May you sing of the Lord’s great love forever and make known His faithfulness to all generations, for His love stands firm forever and His faithfulness is established in heaven itself. Psalm 89

May you declare the Lord’s wonders in the immensity of the heavens and His faithfulness among the multitudes of His saints, for He is greatly feared in the council of the holy ones and is more awesome than all who are found around Him, the mighty One, Whose faithfulness surrounds Him. Psalm 89

May you gain the grace and compassion which comes from a good understanding of the deep things of God, for a person with good sense is respected and one with keen insight wins favor, but the harsh conduct of the unfaithful never changes and the treacherous lifestyle of the scorner leads to ruin in the pit of destruction. Proverbs 13:15

April 19

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Ephesians 4:15 Speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in every way into Him who is the head, into Christ.

Philippians 1:21 For me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

1 Peter 1:8-9 and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, 9 obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls.

1 Peter 4:8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.

Lamentations 3:22-24 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; 23 they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. 24 “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in Him.”

May you dwell open-handedly with your brethren, content with your needs met, and gracious with your abundance, even as the tribe of Judah gave of their territory to Simeon when the lot fell to them, for love seeks not her own, nor behaves unseemly. Joshua 19, 1 Corinthians 13

May you be willing to labor for the good of others, doing service for your brethren, preferring others’ good and the common welfare before any private advantage, trusting that in His wisdom the Lord has kept that which is best suited for you and most delightful to you. Joshua 19

May you find your refuge in Christ, Who welcomes you with abundant grace and lavish mercy, granting the forgiveness of sin through the washing of His blood to all who turn from and repent of their deeds. Joshua 20

May you be prepared to offer grace and mercy to those who need it, and not join the “avengers of blood” who seek their own “justice.” Joshua 20

My love for you is without measure, My child, and that is why my chastening for you is measured.
To leave you alone, unchecked, untrained, unlearned, unrestricted, would be the worst type of uncaring abuse imaginable. Your fleshly appetites, your sinful nature, would bring you straight to death’s door, for it has inherited Adam’s curse of a sinful death.
I have brought you into a new life, given from above, which cannot be taken from you. So also I give you the training and preparation for that which you have never known – a life of liberty, full of freedom, loosed from chains that bound you. This new life you have received from Me carries with it the need to be responsible for your own actions before you can receive the authority waiting for you.
You must learn how a child of the Almighty acts. You must learn respect and love for the Father God, because your father, the devil, taught you only fear and hate.
My love for you is the Father’s love, and when the veil in the temple was rent and the way was opened to the mercy seat in the temple, it was to demonstrate what truly had happened when My flesh was rent. My blood was sufficient to not merely cover your sin, but to cleanse it. Is there any greater demonstration possible of My measureless love for you?
By this, you know that the lovingly measured discipline that trains and equips you for the glorious future in eternity is not a drop more than required, not an iota more than love, is never motivated by anger, is ever patient and attentive and never out of frustration, for you are precious to Me.
A jeweler who chips away parts of a diamond is joyfully bringing out the beauty that lies within so that the light can be seen clearly. A blacksmith who shapes metal with both fire and hammer purifies it from the brittle slag that would weaken the utensil, then sharpens it into usefulness with file and grindstone. He never does this to waste his time and effort trying to torment the metal. Instead, his goal is to purposefully bring to view the shapely beauty of a balanced tool that is flexible under pressure and strong in use, a joy to the hand and a pleasure to the eye.
Understand My love for you, My precious one, and do not doubt that My love follows you, surrounding you and leading you. Know, My dear one, that nothing touches you but what I have allowed in love. Turn always to Me, My dear one, and know My love through My blood and My suffering.

May you be ready, when the Lord says, “I have need of that,” to release what He has given you into the service of the Lord. Luke 19

May you accept the work of the Lord in your heart as He cleanses His temple, driving out the influences which rob, steal, and destroy, so that you can be a vessel of honor, and the place He dwells can be a house of prayer. Luke 19

May your prayer come before the Lord, the God Who saves you, and may He turn His ear to your cry both day and night. Psalm 88

When your heart is sick from hope deferred, may the Lord, Who is the tree of life, fulfill your longing. Proverbs 13:12

May you respect the Lord’s commands, for He will reward you. Proverbs 13:13

May you receive the teaching of the wise, which turns a man from the snares of death, for it is a fountain of life. Proverbs 13:14

April 18

1 John 5:4 Whatever is born of God conquers the world. And this is the victory that conquers the world, our faith.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

Psalm 103:6 The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.

Psalm 46:11 The Lord Almighty is with us…

Psalm 16:1-2 Preserve me, o God, for in You I put my trust. 2 O my soul, you have said to the Lord, “You are my Lord, my goodness is nothing apart from You.”

Psalm 19:9-10 The judgments of the Lord are… 10 more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb.

May you know that, in the Lord, you are one of many and, together, very powerful and abundantly blessed so that, when you have grown enough to need expansion, you will find that, through God’s Word and in God’s strength, you are well able to possess the promises He has given. Joshua 17

May you be confident of God’s strength and strategy in your life when you are facing spiritual battles which seem too great to win, for He guides you one step at a time. Joshua 17

May you not be satisfied with the ease of a rich land after living in the dry desert for so long, lest you begin dreading the prospect of spiritual battle; for it is not yourselves that you battle for, but those you will shepherd who will need you to have the word of truth and to know the God of promise, so that you will be practiced in ministry, pointing them to the Lord, even as you have been pointed. Joshua 18

My child, do not seek to be separate from the world, but to be devoted and attached to Me.
As you learn of Me through My Word and by My Spirit, your heart will draw closer to Me out of hunger for the true Bread of Life and thirst for the true Water of Life, leaving behind, without struggle, the substitutes which the world supplied.
Come, My beloved, eat and drink without cost, for I have willingly paid the price for your admittance. Come, and find rest for your soul.

May you remember that wealth and influence alone will still leave a person hungry spiritually, and that God will give you the words of life for those willing and determined to seek them out, and their acceptance will bring fruits of repentance. Luke 19

May you seek for and accept direction and wisdom from the Holy Spirit about how best to invest the abundant gifts our King has given us until His return, so that we may give Him the increase for His kingdom. Luke 19

May the time and effort you put into the work of the kingdom return multiplied blessings and spiritual riches, just as wealth from hard work will grow. Proverbs 13:11

Matthew 20:28 KJV Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Hebrews 2:18 NIV Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.

1 John 2:1 NLT …If anyone does sin, we have an advocate…

Job 23:3 NKJV Oh, that I knew where I might find Him, that I might come to His seat!

Psalm 119:11 NASB Your word I have treasured in my heart, That I may not sin against You.

Luke 22:41-42 NASB …and He [Jesus] knelt down and began to pray, 42 saying, ‘Father, if Thou art willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Thine be done.’

May you not be reluctant to ask the Lord for your needs, for He already knows what you need, and has it ready for you, for it is His good pleasure to give to you; as you ask Him for it, He receives the joy of your trust, and your faith is strengthened when you receive it. Joshua 15

May the things of this world not stand in your way of obeying God and entering into the kingdom of God. Luke 18

May your desire to see the Son of God drive you past the limits set upon you by others, for through perseverance and insistence, your faith and endurance will be rewarded by God Himself, to your joy and satisfaction as well as His praise and glory. Luke 18

My child, I have chosen you and made you to be holy before Me, that you may live a new life before others.
Because I have chosen you while you were still My enemy, you can be merciful to others, as I have been merciful to you.
Because I have shown you My love by dying for you before you loved Me, you can be humble towards others, for I chose you after the world discarded you.
Because I have shown you kindness by making you one of My holy people, you can show kindness to those who have been rejected and condemned.
Because I have received you with gentleness towards your wounds rather than harshness toward your failings, you can be gentle with those who have not known gentle treatment.
Because I am endlessly patient with you, My love, express that same patience to those around you, for this is how others will see My life lived out on earth.

May the Lord hear and answer you when you call from your need and poverty. Psalm 86

May you be devoted to God, for He will guard your life. Psalm 86

May you trust in your Master Who can save you. Psalm 86

May the Lord have mercy on you as you call to Him all day long. Psalm 86

Though the arrogant ruthless band of men attack you, seeking your life without regard for God, the Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, and will turn to you with mercy and save you, the son of His maidservant, by granting His strength as a sign of His goodness so that your enemies will be shamed when the Lord helps and comforts you. Psalm 86

May your light shine brightly as does the light of the righteous, never to be snuffed out as will the lamp of the wicked. Proverbs 13:9

May you be willing to take advice as do those in whom wisdom is found, eschewing pride which only breeds quarrels. Proverbs 13:10
