Under a clearing sky, a person stands silhouetted by the bank of a body of water as the morning mist is blown away leaving a towering column of sunlit cloud on the horizon.

Galatians 5:22-23 The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Jeremiah 9:24 “… I am the LORD, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,” declares the LORD.

Luke 6:36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

1 John 3:18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

Psalm 78:4 We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power, and the wonders He has done.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

May you know that the Lord, your Holy One, your Redeemer the King, will cause, for your sake, those of the world who have ruled over you in unrighteousness to be brought down in their pride to the dust as fugitives and refugees, for He Who made a dry path through the mighty waters will do a new thing by bringing waters to the way He makes in the desert, so that you may proclaim His praise. Isaiah 43

May you call upon the Lord and never grow weary of seeking out the hidden truths of God’s Word, honoring Him with the sacrifices of praise and the sweet-smelling incense of worship, for He, even the Lord God, is the One Who blots out your transgressions, for His own sake, and remembers your sins no more. Isaiah 43

May you listen to what the Lord Who made you and formed you in the womb, and Who will help you, has to say: “Do not be afraid, My servant, whom I have chosen, for I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground, and My Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.” Isaiah 44

May you testify without fear to the fact that the Lord, your King and Redeemer, the Lord Almighty, is the first and the last, and there is no God apart from Him, for He has proclaimed what will happen and foretold it long ago, that all may know that there is no other Rock, no God besides Him, and all who make idols are nothing, valuing “treasures” that are worthless. Isaiah 44

May you ever trust God, for He is not a man, so He will not lie; but ever question your own motives lest you be deceived by pride or love of sin, not trusting in public professions and outward works, so that you may question your conscience and, through the aid of the Spirit, deliver your soul. Isaiah 44, Numbers 23

May you remember the truth of the holiness of God, for you are His servant whom He has made, and He will not forget you, but has swept away your offenses like a cloud and your sins like the morning mist so that you can return to Him Who has redeemed you. Isaiah 44

May you sing for joy with the heavens and shout aloud with the earth as the mountains burst into song with the forest and all the trees, for the Lord had redeemed you and displayed His glory through you from the time He formed you in the womb until His will is accomplished. Isaiah 44

May you honor the Lord in humble submission and obedience to the One Who has made all things, Who alone stretched out the heavens, Who spread out the earth by Himself, Who foils the signs of false prophets and makes fools of diviners, Who overthrows the learning of the wise and turns it into nonsense, and Who carries out the words of His servants and fulfills the predictions of His messengers. Isaiah 44

May you know that God holds the hearts of men in His hand and that all which is done by men in power, and that which is decided in the counsels of men in authority, is to further the will of God, for He raises men to power and removes them from power as He chooses, always accepting those who are willing to fill the role He assigns, just as Pharaoh, from his own choice, resisted the word of God proclaimed through Moses, and Cyrus, for his own reasons, issued proclamations that served the purposes of the Lord. Isaiah 44

May you hear what the Lord says to the one He anoints to do His work, whose right hand He takes hold of to subdue principalities before and strip the defenses from resisting powers and authorities, to open doors before so gates will not be shut, for He will go before you and level mountains of opposition, He will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron, He will give your the treasures of darkness and riches stored in secret places, so that you will know that He is the Lord, the God of Israel, Who summons you by name for the sake of His servants and His chosen, for He is the Lord and there is no other. Isaiah 45

My child, how great is your dependence on Me? How long are you willing to wait for Me? Am I your primary stop for what you need, or am I your only source? If I am silent, what is your response?
Elijah, in order to end the drought upon Israel, prayed and received My immediate answer in the form of fire from heaven that devoured the sacrifice on the altar, the stones of the altar, and the water around the altar. He then killed the prophets of Baal and promised the immediate return of rain, but it did not come. He sent his servant to look toward the sea time after time as he continued praying and waiting. How many times would have been enough for you before going to “plan B?”
Moses, when confronted with the sin of Israel in forsaking My commandments, was told to lead the people on to Canaan, but not to expect My presence with him. He knew he could not manage on his own, and stated that. He made it clear that unless I accompanied him, he was unable to do the job. Would you have persisted in prayer to receive My promise, or gone ahead in your own strength?
Jacob wrestled all night without giving up, though he knew he was facing a superior opponent. At the end, he simply hung on, without a hope of overcoming, but without a willingness to give up. He demanded a blessing before letting go, though he was in great pain. To what length will you go to receive the anointing you need from Me?
I will test you, My child, to let you see what is in your heart and to show you what your spirit contains. There is no wrong answer, My dear one; there is only the truth. I will be with you in what you face, and I will be found by you, when you seek Me with your whole heart.

May you be able to understand the mystery of Christ, which was not made known to men in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise of Christ Jesus. Ephesians 3

May you be confident of God’s insurmountable protection and special care even as you endure the suffering of the ministry of the gospel, for He will not allow any harm to come upon you that is gratuitous or without profit to the furtherance of His kingdom and the revealing of Jesus in your life. Ephesians 3

May you receive the gift of God’s grace to share the unsearchable riches of Christ and make plain to everyone that this secret, which has been hidden for ages in God but now revealed, is that His intent is, through the church, for the manifold wisdom of God to be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to His eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus the Lord, that in Him and through faith in Him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. Ephesians 3

May you kneel before the Father, from Whom His whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name, so that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your heart through faith, and being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge – that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3

May you give to Him Who is able to do immeasurable more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, glory in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations, for ever and ever! Ephesians 3

May you be glad and rejoice before God with all the righteous, who are happy and joyful as He arises and scatters His enemies, making His foes flee before Him as smoke is blown away by the wind and as wax melts before the fire. Psalm 68

May you sing praises to the name of God and extol Him Who rides on the clouds, rejoicing before Him in His holy dwelling for He is a father to the fatherless and a defender of widows, setting the lonely in families and leading forth the prisoners with singing while the rebellious are left to live in a sun-scorched land. Psalm 68

May you know that when God brings you into a wilderness that He will go before you, refreshing you by His Spirit and providing for all who are poor in spirit from His bounty of abundant grace. Psalm 68

May you have eyes to see beyond the circumstances of those bound by evil and imprisoned by enemies so that you may see, and proclaim, the glory of His victorious ones, justified and sanctified in Christ, freed from fear and strong through salvation, walking in honor before their King, enriched by His treasures, robed in His righteousness. Psalm 68

May you have grace enough to not envy wicked people, and wisdom enough to not desire their company, for beyond the outwardly attractive appearance and the apparently generous behavior, you will find that their hearts are filled with violence and their speech is filled with hate, and unless they turn from their evil ways, their end will be destruction. Proverbs 24:1,2
