May you be ready to step forward in obedient humility at the Lord’s leading, though others lag back in fear, with a zeal to do His will and speak His truth, though others accuse you of ambition and pride, so that the enemies of God may be made to flee, not trusting man’s methods, but using what God has given you that the glory and the praise for the victory may be His. 1 Samuel 17

Where will you look for help, My needy one, and to whom will you turn for what you seek? Do you not recall where your sorrow led you when you understood the need in your heart and the lack in your life?
Though you sought and tried so many different sources, you found none was complete. Though you still bore the marks and traces of each one you followed after, I accepted you fully and received you graciously.
My work in you was done in an instant, My worried one, and you knew it fully when it took place. The old life was shattered and the prison bars were broken; what had once held you captive now lay on the ground for you to walk over. The joy in your heart could not be counterfeit and the lightness of your step could not be mistaken – you became Mine, accepted in the Beloved.
The moment, the instant of salvation’s freedom and the transition from death to life is when the work of transformation began. Even as I created you, I also recreate you to bear My image and bring Me glory. I reshape you as I please. I form you to My specifications. I am the Master Builder Who declares when the work is complete; I am the One in Whose mind resides the shape that you will be given. It may look unfinished to others, but when I lay down My tools, no one else picks them up to add to or remove from that which I have accomplished.
Be confident in My Lordship; know that My arm is not shortened. Rest in My love and rely on My promises. I know your frame and understand what you face; My grace is sufficient, for the grim truth of your weakness and inability is abundantly met by My mercy and favor.
You are Mine, and neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all that I have created is able to separate one that I have been given by My Father from the love of God that I give to you.
